“My family had dinner at Albertinos today for my mom and husbands birthday. Because there was 9 of us they require a fix price meal for each person. This price includes an app, main, and dessert - anything on the menu. The service here is outstanding. The food is better than anywhere else in town, and for me- the best Italian I have ever had. Dinner for 9 of us took about three hours. To me, this is amazing. There was no rush. They made sure everything was perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy our time. We have been there two other times and have had the same waitress. The daughter of the owner (Jsut another plus). She is bubbly and kind and makes sure everyone has a great time. “Café Carmela is one of those places that just gets it right. From the moment we walked in, it felt comfortable and welcoming, the kind of spot where you can relax and actually enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.

Everything we ordered was so good. The meatballs were amazing — tender, flavorful, and clearly homemade. And the sauce!!! Soooo good!! The eggplant parmigiano was comforting in the best way, perfectly cooked and full of flavor without being heavy. And the Don Cheech cheesesteak was honestly outstanding. Packed with flavor, cooked just right, and easily one of the best cheesesteaks we’ve had in a long time.

And of course, every place must have fries and they do. Crunchy, hot, and exactly what you want alongside a great sandwich.

What really stood out, though, was how kind and helpful the staff was. Everyone was friendly, patient and made great recommendations, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed.

The atmosphere is cozy and laid-back, making it a great place to enjoy a casual meal, or just sit and enjoy really good food. Nothing feels overdone or pretentious — it’s simply a place that serves great food and treats people well. Oh and we live the decor and interesting signs. Feels like a throw back to a different time.

Café Carmela is definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to. It’s the kind of place you’re happy to have in your neighborhood and excited to recommend to others. Definitely worth it. Check them out!“

“Undiscovered goodness in Levittown. Very nice byob with excellent food. The Ceasar salad, bread and oil with herbs and balsamic was a great start.
Chicken piccatta and the veal marsala came with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables in a nice presentation. No knife needed and the taste was phenomenal. Staff and service were excellent and priced reasonable. Will be back and will recommend to friends and family.

We had ordered The Italian hoagie Rotolo, and the house made mozzarella wedges For starters. The Rotolo is a such an innovative play on the Italian hoagie, and the mozzarella wedges were incredible-sauce was delicious. The kids had a really great looking cheese pizza and I ended up having the Wildfeather Paccheri ala Vodka dish… Wow- this dish was so wonderful… Mildly spicy but super creamy and the ribbons of cupped pepperoni in it was off the charts! “Giumarello’s Restaurant was delicious! The martinis were great. Appetizers: crab stack with mango salsa and avocado or saffron mussels with shrimp, Yumo! Entrees: Miso glazed sea bass or filet with stuffed lobster tail both Devine! Dessert: Chocolate heaven flourless cake and salted carmel creme brulee were heavenly 😋 Our waiter Griffin was wonderful and very knowledgeable, especially since we needed gluten free options. “Visited Angelos's on Friday, 9/29/23 for late lunch. Had several out of town Family members (10) and 3 babies with me. Dana was our server. She was very friendly, and excellent waitress. With 3 babies in our group was a little hectic at times. Food as usual was delicious. Some ate Pasta, others had cheese steaks. Food always fresh. Tony is was so great seeing you again. “We have come to La Strada many times... This time was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Sadly, the server was a bit overwhelmed I think. He came over to us and then let us sit for about 15 mins before he came back. Glad it is BYOB or else we probably would have been waiting for drinks also. After he finally took our order, which we knew by the sounds of other tables comments, it prob would come out wrong, we finally got our soup and salad and then another waitress that works there came over with the pork chop special to give us... Um, no that is not by any chance close to what we ordered. She walks away. Our server never came over to tell us what happened. About 20 mins or so later, we received our order.... BUT LO and BEHOLD, my husband's dinner which was Pollo Gamberi was missing ALL of the shrimp. This is a staple of this dish. I am really not sure what happened. But he comped our soup, gave us 2 pieces of dessert to take home, even though we said no and I also heard the ppl next to us never got their app. And he comped that. The owner is sadly gonna keep losing money if the server doesn't step up his game. From now on, when we go in , we will ask for the servers we have had and we recognize.“

Honey got a gourmet “Chicken Marco Polo” pizza and I opted for a Sports salad, loaded with fresh grilled chicken and really enough for two people. We have been to the Montegrillo’s in Pennsauken but this is closer to home with the same great menu“

“My niece had her law school graduation party here the other night and the entire family, 21 of us, cannot say enough about the excellent food and service that we received. My elderly mother and I were early when they were still setting up, and they welcomed us with open arms and got us some coffee because it was so rainy and cold. The food was excellent. We had many courses, and my sister-in-law said that they were extremely accommodating and offered many choices at a good price for the menu. The owner was lovely to work with. I cannot say enough about how excellent the food was as was the superb service that we received from the entire team. They were on every need amidst a very busy restaurant while navigating around walkers and people like absolute pros... with a smile on their face the entire time. I sincerely hope that the owner and staff see this review.“
