“this was my first time at lola’s. i got the birria tacos with rice. the tacos are really yummy, and the rice is too. only thing — it is NOT cheap. i spent $23 on birria tacos and a jarritos. was it delicious? yes. affordable? not so much, esp for a food court food place.“
“We ate here once before, but it was just as things opened up after COVID, and it was so-so. We finally returned and I'm so happy we did. The food was very good, the service was super friendly and attentive, and the interior is cozy. We've found our favorite local spot for Mexican food!“
“My whole family really loves Los Carnales. I'm surprised I haven't written about them yet. It's our 3 year old son's first choice when we were deciding where to go. He loves the chips with the green salsa, and he has good taste - it's very flavorful. The inside is just super cute and festive. It is small and cozy, but one of our favorite spots. We also love the waitresses. We do get take out often as well, but despite our introvert personalities we prefer to go there. We try different things on the menu, but we always start with the Choriqueso. It's so hard to find a good chorizo queso that isn't all grease with cheap cheese. This ends up being the little guy's meal. I also love the Ensalada de la Casa with shrimp. Lately we've been loving the Quesadilla Mexicanas with steak or shrimp. They are really generous portions as well. The menu has both Mexican and American style on the favorites, which I really appreciate. Not only is it good for those used to one style, but it also offers great variety if you just want something different. I'm sorry it took almost a year for me to applaud this place. Mexican is our favorite but I have struggled to find a good place, despite glowing reviews. The food looks fantastic but then the protein is completely bland. Not Los Carnales!! They know what they're doing.“
“I have been coming here for about 2/3 years now and I love this place! Their food is always great! My boyfriend and I made it our date night spot. You also can’t beat the view in the summer or any season to be honest. When you eat inside you notice some visuals that are an eye sore. As for service, it’s normally pretty good but some servers can be not as attentive. Our server the very last time we went had us there for almost 2 hours because he was in the back messing around with other workers. Thankfully we didn’t have other plans that night but when trying to flag him down it was impossible. However, like I said, I think the food is delicious and will definitely return! PS the have a little stop in the Rockaway Mall food court now!Parking: Steep hill to parking. Isn’t a ton of parking when it gets busier.“
“I’m a huge fan of Moe’s regardless but this location is the best one I’ve been to by far. The employees are very pleasant and the food is always fresh. I love how they cook the tofu right on the spot as a way for it to be fresh for the customers instead of having it sitting out for some time (since it begins to dry up when it sits out). I normally purchase their stacks (formerly known as wrong Doug’s) and their rice bowls. Their queso is by far the best in any Mexican fast food location along with their chips and salsa (that’s included in every order for free!) I highly recommend Moes Southwest Grill to anyone who wants the best quality Mexican-American fast food chain. A++“
“The food is super delicious and everything is clean, the workers have very good customer service, the empanadas are delicious, the chicharrón and the breads don't even mention it. 100% Recommended,☺️?Kid-friendliness: In my opinion everything, tastes also vary, but in case the breads are more likely!?“
