“This was my first experience dining at a Korean BBQ venue. There is plenty of variety between the buffet choices for the hot pot soup and the BBQ grill and the sides. I really enjoyed the hot pot soup I’m not a fan of cooking/grilling my food at a restaurant. Armando the server went above and beyond to explain and tend to us.“

That being said the food here is just as good the drinks were good the service was mediocre. The place was crowded from 8:00pm until about 1/2 hour before we left at 10:15pm . The waitress was great because crowded and all we didn't wait as long as I thought we would.“

“Incredible food, the wings were amazing I got the jerk sauce bbq glaze with mac and cheese it was perfectly grilled slightly charred the way I like it, amazing mac and cheese that had a hint of Cajun flavor and a Buffalo NY style blue cheese with celery at least it seemed Buffalo style from what I’ve had before. The price was way cheaper than I expected the staff was really nice to me and police and checked up on me twice, and didn’t take long to do that either. 5 stars from me I’m going back tomorrow and I don’t even live in Brooklyn, I gotta bring my gf and my friends here. Thanks for the good experience! 👍🏾“

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! great selection of hotpot ingredients, and they literally have 小龙虾🦞 as their starters?? the service was INCREDIBLE TOOOO the aunties and a young man were so service-oriented -- placed our coats in a big plastic bag so that the hotpot smell would not get to it + overall super smiley :) THUMBS UP!!!“

“Went to Sappe NYC for dinner and honestly loved it. The food was so good. We tried a few different dishes and everything had so much flavor without feeling heavy. The pad thai and curry were standouts for me, and the drinks were great too.
Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Overall just a really fun dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“Cute place tucked away! Came here during snow storm and it was so cozy and the atmosphere was friendly but the food…. Wow! Just WOW! Delicious and worth it! “Excellent option for those interested in healthy/real food. The guys there are really cool. The proteins were delicious and their spice blends are really good. Even the steamed broccoli was seasoned well. Their garlic sauce is made using garlic, vinegar, and hot sauce; very good for those of us interested in eating clean. Would definitely recommend!“

“I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries and a side of barbecue beans. It was all delicious. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was just the right portion and extremely tasty. This is just far enough outside of Times Square that it doesn’t seem to be overly crowded with tourists so eating dinner here is manageable.“

“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

“Small place ran by a lovely couple with all the signature classic Romanian dishes! This place is a complete hidden gem! The eggplant salad starter is just like my grandmother and mother make, the meats are excellent - portion sizes are huge and everything tastes like a solid Romanian place on my visits to Romania. The star today was the Papanasi - a classic Romanian cheese donut! One of the best I had ever! Highly recommended! Will definitely come again!“

“My second time visiting jollof & grill and I brought my friend with me. We were happily greeted upon entering and even got to meet the owner. She’s the sweetest person ever 🩷We ordered the beef suya combo and it was delicious. The jollof rice was flavorful. I love the raw onions and cabbage that comes with it. The beef suya was also cooked to perfection. The plantains were ripe and tasty as well. & Can we talk about portions? You get a lot of food for the price. I shared half w/ my grandma and she enjoyed her food as well. Will definitely be returning in the future!“

“I recently stopped by Hudson Smokehouse in the Bronx and ordered the brisket, turkey, mac & cheese, and baked beans.
The brisket was the standout: tender, properly smoked, and sliced thick enough to hold its structure without drying out. It had a deep, smoky flavor without being overpowered by sauce. The smoked turkey was equally impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and a great lighter counterpoint to the brisket.
On the sides, the mac & cheese was rich and comforting with a solid balance of creaminess and bite, while the baked beans had good depth—slightly sweet, slightly savory, and clearly simmered with care rather than treated as an afterthought.
Service was friendly and efficient, and the overall atmosphere felt casual and unpretentious—exactly what you want when the focus is on the food. If you’re looking for reliable, well-executed barbecue in the Bronx, Hudson Smokehouse is absolutely worth a visit.“

“I recently visited Yangji, a fantastic lamb skewer restaurant. The skewers are perfectly seasoned and cooked, full of flavor every time. “⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Came to KPOT BBQ for the food and left raving about the entire experience. The food was great, fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you hope for when you walk into a place like this. But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. Stella, if you’re reading this, thank you for making an already great meal unforgettable. And if by some chance you felt the same good vibes, feel free to reach out. Either way, KPOT BBQ has a customer for life.“
