“Ok..I saw the pics of the food and decided to go. Now I expected black cooks "known" for a certain type of seasoning on the chicken to be behind the counter, and to my surprise...it wasn't. As I was about to do my best MJ, and moonwalk right back the hell out, I said Phuket, imma give it a shot. Now whether it's Italian, Mexican, Asian, soul food, etc. I'm leaning towards that person "known" for cooking the food it's best. FTR I have had plenty of bland fried chicken..consistently, so I'm specific about where I get it and who's cooking it. Today I wasn't in the mood for bland chicken...so I prayed for the best. To my surprise..the chicken was seasoned, the FRIES were seasoned too GTFOH (and not just salt I don't think)!! With that being said, "never judge a book by its color". I tore that 3 piece apart! Fossilized all 3 of em bitches! If you can fossilize a THIGH...u know it was good! Great job to the cook, management, whoever caught them chickens, everybody. I also let them know how well it was seasoned. Was it the best chicken in the world..Noo..but it was still good AF! Food was great, didn't need to be double dipped and extra extra crispy bullshit. It was perfect the way it was, right amount of seasoning and crunch and def will be back! I usually top out at 4-stars cause 5 means u can't go no higher, but for what I ordered, the food and price, was perfect, zero complaints, 5 stars!“

“Don't go on a Sunday! Last time we were there was on a Friday evening, menu was good. Sunday only offered a $50.00 brunch and a very limited menu. Crab cake was half the size of the bun it came on! We got there after one and the brunch closed at 2, so yea, menu please - not very appetizing.“

“We just moved from Jersey City to Keyport and we have already been missing the quality of restaurants we previously had access to....until Half Moon. Everything was excellent from the ambiance to the cocktails to the food. First, the cocktails were unique and delicious and so fairly priced. The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and we loved everything. We had the short rib Mac and cheese, whipped ricotta and the chicken sandwich in Thai chili sauce. The owners were lovely and we really enjoyed our conversation with them. We look forward to coming back.“

“We had a truly wonderful experience here. The staff at the host stand were so friendly and engaging. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server, Julianna, who was an absolute rock star. The place is so warm and inviting with the giant fireplace and decor. The atmosphere is great here. “We had wanted to try Saffron for a while and when we saw they were participating in restaurant week we went. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and the food outstanding. We had the crispy cauliflower and lamb tart to start. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and the cauliflower was definitely crispy. The saffron butter chicken and the prawns narkel were our entree. Prawns were large and cooked to perfection and the chicken was moist and juicy Both sauces were so well spiced. We will definitely return.“

“Food was good, a little expensive. We had a gift certificate we purchased online and at first the Tinton falls restaurant said that was for the coney Island restaurant and did not want to take it. Showing him the gift certificate did not state Coney Island only, he did accept it. That was the only issue that the did resolve. “

Live music by Andy Russo was a pleasant surprise - playing all of our favorite Bruce songs with a special guest joining him playing Stevie Nicks Landslide! Mr C’s was one of the most pleasant dining experiences we’ve had since we’ve moved to Asbury park. This dining experience will not disappoint! We will be back in the near future and cannot wait to be back here in the summer and go up to the sunset deck!“

Delicious! Better flavor, fresher than lobster at the shore's best known seafood restaurants. And a few $ cheaper. I tried the mac & cheese w/ lobster once but frankly, lobster is way too delicate to drown in that sandwich, but it was a noble sandwich for fans. I stick to exactly 1 thing now: 5 stars for their CT lobster roll at Cousins truck, Brick, NJ.“

“Though no one was answering the phone there to see if it was open, we ventured on a Wednesday night around 630 before a show at the Count Basie. Walked in and a less than handful of folks at the small bar. No one at the tables. I had to trust the Yelp reviews. Two people seemed to be working, and I believe one was manager and chef. Menu was nice and service was attentive and friendly. The guac was very generous and very good. The entrees had a lot going on on the plate. Fish, rice, corn, salad, veggies, Brussel sprouts, asparagus. A very large serving plate. Could tell care went into the food presentation. Will definitely be back. This is a hidden gem that deserves a spotlight.“

A hidden gem amongst the locals. $54 got us 6 long neck clams, 6 coconut fried shrimp, large crab cake, cup of New England clam chowder, side of coleslaw and lobster roll. My only critique is the red pepper in the lobster roll was a little forward. Clams were very fresh and crab cake was one of the best I've ever had. Highly recommend.“

“Had a great second visit to Sea Grass! As mentioned in other reviews this restaurant is BYOB, so we started with our wine (which they nicely brought an ice bucket for) and the oyster special. My boyfriend really appreciated how the oysters weren't overly salty and the pear glaze added a good flavor. Since we had such a large appetizer, we decided to split the halibut for our entree. We were pleasantly surprised when our waitress brought out two plates, pre-split for us. The halibut had a nice herb crust and was served over lobster risotto (and they definitely did not skimp on the lobster!!). Overall, lovely dining experience!“

“Went here for a second time in two weeks. As someone with food allergies I’m used to kitchens messing up my order and I’m always patient. I ordered a gf burger no dairy and it first came out with cheese. The manager came over personally to apologize and bring me fries to eat while waiting for the new burger as everyone else had been served. He also personally delivered the new burger and made sure it was to my liking before he left. Super impressed with the care they have for their customers.“

“Just had my daughters engagement party here. The staff is amazing from booking everything with Joe to going over all the details with Maria- She has the patience of a saint! They really have a beautiful room and everything went flawlessly. The food was delicious. We had the fried Calamari, Brushetta, Fried Shrimp appetizers and then Veal Marsala, Chicken Franciase, Eggplant Rollatini, roast potatoes and vegetables. “One of my local favorites! This place is consistent! We frequently order pizza, sandwiches, GF pizza and my all time fav Chicken Francese from here. I do suggest ordering any pasta al dente. This is one of my favorite chicken Francese entrees in the area! Since it's my favorite dish I've probably ordered it hundreds of times in NJ. The chicken is thin and cooked well, the sauce has the perfect amount of lemon, and the pasta when cooked al dente pairs great with the sauce. The staff is always professional and service is typically quick. Since this establishment does primarily takeout, expect to wait longer Friday-Sunday. Expect to use street parking, which can be a little tricky when it's busy for a quick takeout order (however I rarely have trouble except for a Friday or Saturday night). This is a classic pizzeria style restaurant. It's nothing fancy, but the food is delicious.“

“Barnacle Bill’s is an absolute staple of the Rumson area and is a must visit. It’s a bar/tavern/grog shop that is somewhat trapped in time but in the absolute best way. It’s dark, loud and crowded but it just feels perfect. Burgers are charbroiled and the steak fries are great. Service is surprisingly good and the people watching is even better. I’m really happy places like this still exist.“

“Beautiful outdoor dining. We went at around 7 so it was perfect timing and weather for sunset during dinner. For drinks I got an espresso martini with baileys and it was great! Missing my 3 espresso beans for good luck but it's okay! lol. Appetizers I think we got boom boom shrimp it was good but it had like a plantain/banana taste to it. For entrees I split with my friend and we did the Lobster Fra Diavolo which was a special and a bee sting pie. Holy moly both were so good!!! Our server was so nice I wish I remembered his name.
