Here in New Jersey Celebrating my Best Friend of 37 years celebrating her 60th Birthday with a girl trip. We drove towards New York with no destination in site. Something we both wanted to do. We spent the day touring New Jersey and just wanted to order food to our Hotel Room. After looking at a bunch of restaurants we Selected Chicken Kitchen and boy oh boy from the service, portions, authentic flavors , prices, selection etc we would highly recommend them. Melissa got the 1 person Chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese all delicious and way more than 1 person could eat. I got the jalapeño peppers and the Roman sandwich….. that sandwich was different juicy full of flavor and melted in my mouth. The peppers crispy and delicious. Not sure how they stay in business. This was good. Toasted bun and lobster was fresh. Small portion but thats always the case with a lobster roll. Got my fix and would come back. 3.5 stars but rounding up.“

“I was here when they first opened. it was not really "for me". Recently tried it again and loved it. I am vegetarian and my friend is vegan. we found options. Really enjoyed the eggplant sandwich. Would love more options (saw on one of the burger challenges a portobello on a burger, so loose the beef and just do the portobello) then I would definitely be there more often. Plan to check out the events that they have in the winter. So nice to have a quality and nice place locally to go out to at night.“

Have been to the original in Brooklyn many times over the years but this was our first time at Gargiulo’s in Tinton Falls and it did not disappoint. I knew the moment I tasted the sauce that came with the delicious Calzone that everything was going to be great. It was fresh and delicious.

“My wife and I went to Christines last night, on recommendations from many, to celebrate her birthday. Wow. Met at the door by the owner, Ron. Big personality that was both genuine and welcoming. He and the staff made my wife feel extra special! The food was what I was expecting, given all the reviews from friends, authentic and delicious! Everything from the appetizers, main courses, desert....exceptional. Can't wait to go back. Highly recommend!“

Shrimp with Linguini excellent, spicy pepperoni pizza very good. Burger solid choice. We didn't have cocktails but many people around us were drinking.“

When we moved out of town about 3 years ago we tried to find something that was comparable and closer, but that didn’t work out so make the trip back just about every Friday night.
