“One of the most incredible farm to table restaurants you will ever dine in!You absolutely must get the fried cheese. It is a staple! I also enjoyed the fried baby artichokes which were so delicate and delicious smothered in the most incredible sauce.If there’s anything there that comes with pork belly, then you absolutely must order it! The gorditas are my absolute favorite, essentially an extremely fat arepa stuffed with pork belly!Also, the fried chicken taco is next level.All the drinks are crazy, but I really prefer the Coquito. And I would be remiss if I did not mention that you must order any and all desserts that they offer! The tres strawberry shortcake is really something special !“

“We enjoyed our evening here. The food, and the atmosphere, and the drinks were great. However, the service was not up to par. Our server did not check on us once we had to continuously wave her down to get her attention to get more food and drinks. The servers need to make sure they check on the customers more often. Also have a better attitude, our server was not warm and friendly. We were left for 30 minutes unattended, and then we had to waive her down always to order more stuff.“

“I’m in the area for just one night and needed to figure out where I could get a quick dinner. I saw Sophie’s Bistro and after getting a recommendation from a colleague, I made a reservation. It’s a really casual place; not pretentious in any way, but the bartender was both talented and conversational and made something off menu to enjoy. For dinner, I decided on French Onion Soup and Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides this, the bread service they bake in house is amazing and I learned about the owner and how he treats his people and that made me even happier that I came in. I wish we had a place like this where I live; I would be there all the time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but next time I’m near Somerset, I know where I’ll do dinner. “The food was very fresh and tasted phenomenal. Our server was very attentive and knew her menu and dessert items well.Even though a family friendly restaurant the atmosphere was calming and not overstimulating. Just overall a great experience and will be returning.“

“Simply the best restaurant outside of NYC and within 45 minutes of Chester. Not the cheapest, but you get value for money, which is more important. Service is impeccable, food creative and delicious and the wine list incredible. Ninety Acres should take note, it's nowhere near as good as the Pluckemin and the front of house doesn't give off aggressive vibes“

“We moved to Basking Ridge 4 years ago and found Red Oak Grille next to our rental. It reminded us of our favorite go to restaurant in Texas and it never disappoints. On our last visit our waitress was busy and to our surprise she comped our first beverage order due to a delay in taking our order. Who does that?! If you have not gone to Red Oak Grille I highly recommend you go as soon as you can! As it gets warmer make sure you sit out on the deck and take in the beautiful golf course views! Great service, food and views!“
