“Last month I asked for recommendations for an Indian restaurant that had great vegan dishes. Clove Garden Garwood was highly recommended. I order 4 vegan dishes from their website tonight. I noted I was vegan online. I had also ordered Naan, (which I didn’t know contained dairy.) The owner took the time to call me and let me know it’s not vegan and made us Roti instead. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!!! Rich, delicious, authentic … best meal I’ve ever had. And the employees were incredibly nice. Looking forward to trying the other vegan dishes next week!! “We beat the rush. Cane in and ordered sat down and with in 15 mins had our food. There were those who ordered on line. The rush was so great some waited an hour before getting their order. We came in at 5:30. If you seriously need your order. Order between 5:00pm & 5:30pm or after 7pm. If you Can hold Out. LaZeez was that slammed. They with a full staff were that overwhelmed. Good food, great service. But choose your time in going. They only have so much room for flexibility. Maybe they need to buy the place next door and expand there kitchen?“

“Came here for the first time- we’re Vegans, and sometimes it’s difficult to find an Indian restaurant that has many vegan options. The staff went out of their way to help us find the vegan options on the menu, and when they were out of some ingredients to make certain dishes (it’s Diwali, and so it’s a busy time of year) that featured mushrooms and tofu, they actually custom created a dish so that we could try more of what they have to offer. A great experience, and will definitely be coming back!

The atmosphere in this restaurant does not give you a topical Staten Island restaurant but you feel like you are dining at a very decent restaurant.

“Okay, we've been coming to this truck since 2008 or so, when my son was a student at NJIT.I'm going to say that the best food here are the platters, especially the chicken platter; unfortunately my son insisted on the Samosa Tikki Sandwich. It was good, but the platters, with extra white sauce, and a sprinkle of red pepper, is worth the visit. Enjoyed the sandwich. The picture is only a fourth of the sandwich.“
