First off, Dave (I am assuming the owner) and Danny our server, were super gracious and inviting and offered some great suggestions. I had the birria tacos which were great. We were a part of 4 and everybody loved their meals. My wife is a vegetarian and there were plenty of options for her. The guacamole was perfect. Street corn appetizer was fantastic. I highly recommend! Best Mexican food in East Brunswick.“

“My wife and I ate at Ford's in late December 2024. Boy are we glad we did! After seeing the reviews here and elsewhere, it was very clear we had to come here while we were in the area, and now we know why! We had never experienced Portuguese BBQ before, and holy moley, was it delicious!\n\nI had a lunch-sized chicken and pork ribs combo, and my wife had the lunch-sized chicken and beef ribs combo. All of the meat was absolutely sensational, well cooked, seasoned well, and just melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The BBQ sauce that came with it was also tasty, but honestly we felt like we didn't even need it because the meat was so tender and juicy.\n\nThe fries and yellow rice were also very tasty.\n\nAnd even when you get the lunch-sized portions, you get TONS of food, like we both got more than enough for both lunch and dinner.\n\nThe gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy the meal.\n\nI'm not sure when or if we'll be back in the Fords/Woodbridge area, but if we are, we will definitely put this on our "must do" list every time.“

“My wife and I have been coming here for years and never had a bad experience until recently. The last two times we visited, the service and food quality were not the same. When I walked in and greeted the young gentleman at the counter, he didn’t respond — just gave me a sour look without saying a word. It left a bad impression.

Also, even though we picked up the food within 20 minutes like they said, it was cold and the fries were stale.

We’ve always enjoyed Estrela da Serra BBQ and hope this was just a rough patch. Hoping for a better experience next time.“

We had the half and half - the jerk pork was so tasty and the jerk chicken was to die for! The meat is tender and flavorful. The rice is a surprising main character to accompany the meats. “I like how the restaurant is decorated with a Western theme and that they play Country music. The food and the service is overall very good. They are usually very quick and friendly. Sometimes if you order an additional item with your main course there may be an extra wait for it. They once forgot to give me the mushrooms that I ordered and I didn't notice it until I got home. But when I called the manager kindly sent me a $10. gift card. I especially like their wildest shrimp, chicken wings and their corn. Their prices are very reasonable as well and their portions are pretty good.

Make sure you check your napkins and flatware. I was once given a set that had hair on the napkin.“

“I love coming to this location in particular for the Korean BBQ Wings - I’ve tried just about every sauce but the (Soy Garlic) flavor is by far my favorite. These wings are super fresh, hot and boasting with flavor. Respectfully speaking these actually taste so much better than Boom Boom chicken.🐔 🍗“

“Best BBq for your buck, seasoning is on point. Only only bad thing is if your dining in, since there is no ac you will be very uncomfortable and sweat while you eat which no one wants. Foods amazing, staff is great, just too hot to dine in the summer. In the spring, fall, and winter it's chill just don't recommend eating there in the summer. Please go thought and get take out.

Parking: There's only a few, about 4 spots to park around the restaurant, if those are taken which usually are you must park blocks down the road.“

“I went with my family in a good mood for Mother's Day and my birthday. We went with 5 adults and 2 children. We came to $300 for our food, and my sister and I tipped twice, for a total of $100. After eating, I left the card on the table after paying. I found out after I got home, so I called right away and confirmed the card was there. Since then, money has been withdrawn from my account several times. I couldn't use the card. However, I was surprised by the amount of over $100 doordash payment, so I stopped the card in the evening. And I called the restaurant. But the boss never said he was sorry to me. We said we didn't use it and that we could report it. I am so embarrassed and angry. It's my fault for leaving the card behind, but it's a big fault for the person who stole and used the guest card. I want to tell you to be careful about what happened here. I don't want to go any longer to be safe in a place like this. And you won't be able to go.
