“Hewa is the restaurant where my love for sushi started. It is a great value with a wide variety and is a staple dinner option at my house. However after eating sushi from several other restaurants I have to unfortunately say, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong it's still really good and sometimes I just need a good heeling of Hewa, but it's the variety that allows Hewav to excel not necessarily the quality. That being said they are the best of the middle, only being beat by higher end swanky sushi places. Everyone should go here for the every day sushi or Chinese, it is just a solid meal everytime.“

“Had a really outstanding meal at Koto Sushi! We ordered a couple of large rolls (both delicious), a tuna avacado salad, and the Nebekaki Udon Noodle soup. Everything was especially fresh and tasty. The Udon Noodel soup was exceptional. Service was friendly and professional. Chef JJ came by to ask how everything was and we also had a nice conversation at the end of our meal. Highly recommended!“

“We happened upon this gem purely by chance. We had an amazing meal from A-Z (!!!) The sushi is phenomenal; sit at the newly designed sushi bar in the back and enjoy unique daily catches that come in through the connections the owner has with local fishermen. The restaurant is also known for their aged steaks, and Kobe prime rib, which we will try next time. I had the miso black bass and it was one of the best flavors with fish I have ever had. The broth had such a delicate shiitake mushroom flavor, which I loved. I literally couldn’t have had enough of this delicate, delicious dish. I could have had two orders and eaten it all! I think this dish epitomizes what the word UMAMI means. I also had the sautéed mushroom extravaganza, a treat for every taste bud of incredible flavors melted with a delicate sauce. My husband had their unique collection of sushi and sashimi choices that were all enjoyed at their stunningly beautiful sushi bar, complete with two young, passionate chefs who love what they do, and treasure their personal designs of the fish and rolls. All the rolls are presented in this great wooden cradle design, which I thought was so unique and functional. The owner was all smiles and genuinely happy to have had us try his new restaurant. I recommend it highly for either an exceptional steak meal (all are btw, so reasonably priced so order them for sure), or the traditional sushi. You won’t be disappointed. This will be our weekly go-to restaurant and we are counting the days until we will return, which actually will be next Tuesday the 9th! “There is a reason this restaurant is packed every night. The crab& cream cheese wontons are the best I've ever had, best served eating in. The general tso chicken is fresh and flavorful. I am a huge fan of their green beans. Their food is never greasy, but will still take care of a hangover. I have been a customer since they opened, and I will drive to pick up no matter how far I live. The interior and atmosphere is absolutely transcendent. It felt like you were in a chic downtown city restaurant, but with reasonable prices. It's perfect for a date night. The best part? BYOB with a liquor store next door.
Lately, my husband and I fight over their fried wonton things and home made duck sauce. They are the best I ever had. I love how nothing in this restaurant is greasy. My cousin says they have the best sushi, but I don't eat it. They make it in the dining room in full view of customers.
Last night (Friday), I was carrying my toddler and a box of food, so a male employee came to open the doors for me. It was super nice, because they were busy. The women there aren't really nice, but I feel it's a culture thing. Americans seem overly friendly to other cultures.

“Let me preface this by saying I ordered this on DoorDash.

Now I was surfing DoorDash one night (tonight) because I was craving sushi but didn’t want to spend too much on it, was just hoping to get a fill of fish so was looking for cheap “low quality” sushi, and I stumbled onto this gem.

Even the menu on the app looked a bit fancy for “low quality” sushi (Japanese WAGYU sushi??) so I decided to try it out. Wow.

First off, the price. The price is on par with some of the other revolving sushi restaurants, but definitely cheaper than more formal sit down restaurants. Secondly, THE QUALITY. Not ONE of the sushi’s I ordered (I ordered pretty much one of everything, my wallet’s cooked) was fishy. Everything tasted fresh. The Yuzu salmon as well as the Japanese wagyu was to die for (I literally moaned). THE WASABI IS REAL WASABI. You don’t understand, these things aren’t typical of a revolving sushi restaurant, especially not for one of this price point.

Anyways, I don’t normally write reviews let alone take photos of food for reviews, but I took some just for yall because this restaurant blew my expectations out of the water. I can’t wait to visit in person someday soon.“

“My third time back and Yanaga, and it didn't disappoint! I love the mini tasting they offer - such a great deal since I can't always spring for the full omakase. The sushi is fresh and delicious, the cocktails are creative and complex, and the happy hour deals are so worth it! I tried the wagyu hot dog for the first time and even though I came there for the raw fish, that was a standout menu item for me.
The ambiance is laid back and fun, never pretentious. The waitresses and friendly and knowledgeable and never made me feel rushed.

“Been searching for good japanese restaurant for quite some time. Let me just say that Mikado far exceeded our expectations. From tge appetizers to dinner, it was exceptional. Our server, Michelle, was great. We had tge seared pepper tuna sushi app - so fresh and delicious. My husband had the hibachi with filet and lobster - amazing too. My son had the combo udon noodles - ate every bite! We had the tempura banana dessert - delicious as well as the chocolate mousse cake and coppa cafe. Amy at the front desk was so gracious and sweet. We will definitely be back many times. Give this place a try - you won’t be disappointed!!!“

“We had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally did. It's a cute little place, the service is very good, and the food is good, but the portions are very small for the most part. I ordered a miso soup, a seaweed salad, a tuna roll, a salmon roll, and a mochi ice cream and I still was not very full afterwards. You get just a little bit of seaweed salad for $5.95. The rolls are tiny. You get one small mochi cut in half for $2.50. I might order a set dinner next time or more likely go somewhere else where I can get more food for my money.“

“I love Akira every time! We live in town and go regularly for take out, eat in, and hibachi. We have gone multiple times for hibachi and the service is great, atmosphere is fun, and they are accommodating of young children. Out son has more and more fun each time we go.
