“This place is everything you hope for in a hometown bagel shop: great food and genuinely warm service. Joe, the owner, is there every day and somehow knows everyone by name—it really feels like a community staple. When we first moved to the area, I made it a point to try every bagel shop nearby, and these are hands down the best. The bagels are consistently excellent, the breakfast sandwiches are fantastic, and there are plenty of solid lunch options too. My personal favorite is the Nova cream cheese sandwich. It’s become a family tradition for us to come every Saturday morning for fresh bagels, and they even freeze well for weekday breakfasts (which is surprisingly hard to find). Can’t recommend this place enough“

“The Food is Great Always Freshly Prepared. Good Coffee. There is a Good Selection of Food on the Menu. Excellent Pancakes/ Omelettes. Salads /Sandwiches are Good also. Fresh Fruit Salads n Fresh Squeezed All Natural Juices and Smoothies.“

“There are tons of bagel places in NJ, but we always find ourselves comparing to House of Bagels. Definitely our favorite bagels - they’re so soft and fluffy on the inside, great crust with plenty of seasoning (our whole family loves everything bagel). What really seals the deal for us is that the bagels freeze and reheat beautifully. They taste almost as good as new. Our kids have them almost every morning 😂 We’ve moved quite far away but always stock up on our favorite bagels whenever we have a reason to be back in the area.“

“Livingston Bagel catered a lunch on Thursday for 20 people for my Mom #BerniceSturtz 90th Birthday! We had their man Abe as Mr. Everything- chef, set up and clean up. He was professional and charming. A gem. Ask for him by name! He was a two-fisted omelette maker. They were delicious! And appropriately priced. Is their bagel sandwiches and other food is very good quality.
The boss runs his business very well and services is top notch.

“Nice deli, bagels were good they were able to make my sandwich just the way the like. The meat was piled on and the sandwich was filling. The bagel has the right consistency of crunchy and chewy with the flavor that you expect. It's hard to find good bagels where I currently reside(Pittsburgh) so it was a nice treat while visiting here.“

“Love this place! Such a nice, cozy vibe. I usually come here after training at the ice rink across the street and always grab my favorite almond milk latte. I really appreciate that they use high-quality milk — it tastes great and keeps the drink low-calorie, which helps me stay in shape. Haha, athlete problems!

They also have super tasty pastries, granola, and other desserts. A bit more indulgent, but hey — that just means I’ll need to train a little harder. Totally worth it!

The service is awesome. The staff is super friendly, attentive, and everything’s always clean. Even the bananas are perfectly arranged — seriously, check out the video I’m attaching! 😂

“Awesome spot in Kenilworth, huge selections of bagels, huge selections of cream cheese spreads (veg, scallion, oreo, raspberry, blueberry, walnut/raisin to name a few) plus all the regular breakfast options.

Large drink selections, many diet drink options too.

Own parking lot, 6 or 8 tables to dine in.

Large staff, everybody working, always cleaning, straightening up, very impressed with how they take care of the kitchen/prep area while they're working.

“I happened to be in the area looking for a quick coffee stop and bagel would be nice. Located in a trip mall.

I ordered a plain bagel with butter and coffee. Coffee is self serve.
When you bite into it, it’s chewy and doughy . Don’t expect a NY style bagel.
It’s not crunchy on the outside. When you bite into it, it compresses down into nothing.
The butter is a cross between unsalted and salted.
I chose to make myself a French vanillas coffee. Nothing special about.
It did the job for moment.
Would I go outta of my way to buy from here ? No. Maybe a different bagel choice or sandwich. Idk. If I’m in the area , maybe. This is just my opinion. Try it for yourself. There are tables and chairs inside to sit down. A TV“

“I always had Dunellen Bagel when I lived there and it’s the best bagel I’ve ever had. I moved and bagels aren’t the same here so everytime I visit Jersey I have to go to Dunellen Bagel and I have my husband addicted too. He’s never tasted a bagel like this and he was amazed. So we bring bagels back home in our carry-on and freeze them at home. I would 100% definitely recommend this place!“

“Very small bagel store, no frill interior. I believe they have a couple small tables at most and a wall hung flat panel. Tables may have been removed during peak COVID. Parking is pretty decent, I can typically get a parking spot without issue. Some bagel varieties do run out quite early in the morning. Typically everything bagel, salt, egg, wheat, blueberry are available later in the day. I do feel these bagels are some of the best in the immediate area, not bready, with enough chewy and crispy parts and moist. They have basic variety of bagel flavor selection but not a huge variety. Bagels have always been spot on consistent. Friendly staff and typically quick service.“

“I've only ever gotten whole bagels here but WOW they're perfect. Slight crunch to the outside, pillowy inside. They're even amazing plain untoasted with butter and obviously great toasted and all the way dressed up as a sandwich.“
