“I visited March 2025. The title says it all. If I could eat the vegan eggs Benedict with smoked salmon here every day I would. I don’t know how they did it… just divine…. the way it looked, how it tasted, the textures, how the poached eggs wobbled and how they oozed when I cut into them. “There is nothing about this place that is inviting from the outside. The tinted front windows are more at place in a bordello than a cafe. The tables outside are a mess. And once you get inside it’s not much better.

That said, the young woman working the counter on the Saturday I went there with my family was beyond delightful, patient and professional. Not only did she welcome each customer, not only did she graciously take orders, she actually would bring said orders to the customers at their tables. Really, she could have just called out names, but she went the extra mile. The food was great and quite affordable too. The combination of the two brings in loyal locals, one after another, all waiting patiently in line.

One major downer: There is only one (short order) cook and there really needs to be at least two. The wait is way too long. The owner needs to step up and find another cook. It’s not fair to customers nor to staff.

All in all, however, a great experience.“

“Uri's coffee is something you have to see to believe. There are hundreds food trailers scattered around New York City. Uri's appears to be some kind of bizzare anomaly with how uniquely busy it is. I saw no less than 4 separate door dash like services lined up here waiting to pick up the many orders the busy staff was working to fulfill in a kitchen no larger than a small truck bed. Their signature item is a breakfast burrito which comes with all kinds of bonus goodies like avocado, hot peppers, and a flavorful green salsa served on the side. I hope Uri's continues to be a huge hit, because the hard working owners deserve your money more than most. I dream to one day maybe see this as a larger truck or even a restaurant, that would warm my heart and I think feed a lot of hungry people on the upper east side.“

“What a little hidden gem! From out of town, I needed a quick breakfast bite. Randomly found this place on Google. First off, their ice coffee uses ice coffee cubes?!? Good coffee with the same good coffee ice was such a pleasant surprise. For that alone, I will come back for their ice coffees when I'm back in the area.. Egg/potatoes were also good. Their potatoes were perfect with just the right amount amount green and red pepper accenting each bite. Next time when I'm not running off, I'd like to sit outside at their bistro table in front.“

Last time I went I had the squid ink pasta with shrimp and it’s literally the best pasta I’ve had in my life, I hope they put it on the menu permanently and bring back the gazpacho, two meals to die for! Although they are on grubhub the radius of delivery is minimal I wish they were accessible through uber eats I would order every other day. “Total vibe before the Yankees game. We were in our St Louis Cardinals matching jerseys for our 5 yr anniversary. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The twins were really nice and their bouncer, server, host added so much entertainment and a genuine touch.

The food recommendation, and I quote: 'look im Greek, so I know everything taste great". With that we order two beef gyros and two Bloody Marys *spicy*. The gyro was the best open faced sandwich I have ever tasted. The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, great flavor and wonderfully spicy.
