“My friend treated me to some of the lemon thyme donuts and wow- probably some of the most delicious donuts I've ever had. I loved the thick lemon glaze and could have eaten a whole dozen if I had the chance. Next time I'm in Hoboken I plan on stopping by to try some other treats.“

“They have indoor and outdoor seating. It’s cozy and warm inside, limited tables. The staff is nice, the manager or owner was kind enough to bring us blankets when we got chilly while eating and watching the marathon runners today. The bolognese was yummy, and my friend and her mom enjoyed the focaccia sandwich and chicken caprese salad.“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “Delicious with great service. Back home to Scotland tmrw and had to come here one last time☺️/ jumped the gun with this review because I based on it on the previous night. Our female server should get a raise for her care and consideration. However the male server was highly unprofessional. He was shouting and swearing at a game and playing on his phone while dealing with us. Gave the general impression that he was annoyed there were customers. Only other bugbear was there were two lots of music being played over the top of each other. Please pick one and stick to it.“

“Went for a family lunch. Sharing starters were big, 2 were easily big enough for 4 people, and tasty. We had meatballs for main course (obviously!) with pasta. All very delicious. You can choose between different types of meatballs, pasta and sauce to make your own combo. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.“

“My husband and I got our coffee here every morning of our trip. My husband was very happy with his black coffee. I always ordered a vanilla latte and it was the best vanilla latte I've ever had. The vanilla flavor had a rich, almost nutty flavor to it. The foam was perfectly creamy and just right the right amount. It was superb and I looked forward to getting one every day of our vacation. The man and woman (I'm so sorry! I forgot names!) were incredibly polite, warm, and inviting. He was so kind to our two kids and gave them bananas we saved for their snack later. I'm disappointed I never actually tried the food, but my kids did have a cinnamon roll and a chocolate chip muffin. They were served warm and the kids loved them. Whenever we make it back to NYC we will absolutely stop into Aleef again!“

“Once I found Katsuya, I had a wonderful meal. If you go, walk past Whole Foods, Peloton and a half dozen potted trees. It is upstairs but there is an elevator. I had hamachi carpaccio - best I've very tasted, and the Katsuya roll - also very delicious. My server was lovely and the restaurant is beautiful“

The chicken empanada was soft and warm, with the perfect texture not dry like other places. It was so fresh and flavorful, I couldn’t get enough! The man behind the counter recommended to drizzle some green sauce over it, and it was so savory and delicious!!! The burgers and sandwiches are also sooooo good. “So glad I found this place. I had the honey vodka square and burrata basil slice. Hiney vodka had thicker crust but which was amazingly soft. The flavours melded very well together. Burrata basil’s really yummy too, if you are a fan of burrata. Price was very decent and the service was very friendly. Place was bright and clean for a pizza joint. “I had an issue with an excess charge on my credit card for a take out order. The owner contacted me and investigated it. He refunded the excess amount and I'm glad they are on top of it. Great customer service and really wanting to make things right.
Overall, I enjoy eating here and I've recommended it to my family and friends. I have tried a couple of their dishes and they are popular for their handroll. Sushi set is also a must. The sea bass is my fave, it just takes a while to be cook because they grill it. My bf likes the hormone don. A good spot for those who wants to try korean/ japanese fusion dish. “Stop the presses!! I found a great new restaurant where artistry trumps slinging hash. It’s Pop Empanada, re-christened Pop Pasta Supper Club on Thursdays and Saturday nights. On those days, Chef Nicolas Pescatore prepares a 6 course meal, and even if you don’t like every course, you will appreciate the artistry and the ambition. Tonight, the courses were 1. celery avocado salad (replacing salmon, which this landlubber doesn’t like), 2. shrimp empanada in a butter curry sauce, 3. pork belly confit, 4. raviolo-soft boiled egg center in a brown butter sage sauce, 5. brisket ragu paccheri pasta, and 6. dessert of frangelica panna cotta key lime shortbread crumble. The cost with tip is around $100 per person plus the cost of your BYOB. We wouldn’t pay that cost often, but it’s a welcome break from the restaurants where kitchen staff show up at 4 PM and are ready to serve at 5pm.“

“Been to Levant a couple of times now and I feel i’m ready to share my experience. First time I ordered a sausage feteer to go. It was still perfectly crispy when I got it home. I like the square bottom bag and the octagonal box the feteer comes in. Today, I was in the mood for a wrap. I ordered the beef shawarma. They toasted the wrap - nice and hot on a giant panini press. It was so juicy I didn’t need the special Levant sauce. Then I thought let me dig the wrap in the sauce and wow. Tasted even better. Will be back to sample their meat pies next!“
