“Consistently good food, I’ve never been disappointed by this place. I moved to Weehawken in 2021 and every single time I get food from here it’s magnificent. Yes the prices have gone up but so have the prices of materials for restaurants, I’m certain they’re increases are necessary for them to just, function and pay their employees. Regardless of that, I will keep returning. My only gripe is with the tortilla soup, that one is really really expensive for the amount that you get. But the street style tacos, the Birria tacos, the quesadillas, the enchiladas, the guacamole,… It’s always incredible.“

Decided to go to NYC to support the San Antonio Spurs for Game 3 of the NBA Finals and saw that Yellow Rose was not only hosting a Spurs watch party, but is owned by San Antonians. I had shiner beer queso & chips, a steak taco that was stuffed with a lot of meat, and shared the skillet cornbread with my new Spurs friends. Atmosphere was awesome and the servers were so nice.“

Got the birria burrito, thing was huge, came with consume and was amazing. Felt like it was made with love. Chips and a coke and I don't need to eat got the rest of the day.

“My first visit was last year and yesterday we decided to go again since indoor dining was reopening. We were a group of three, friendly staff and our host went above and beyond at a point that coffee was not in the menu and he made it for us. We ordered margaritas and were on point, fajitas, Mac and cheese, churros, beer, chips with salsa and many other things. Every single thing was good. Me personally never ordered Mac and cheese on a restaurant and I have to go hands down on your chef because that was the best one I’ve had in a while. To be fair, I only ate the nachos which were shared. But they were really bad. The cheese was liquid, the “sour cream“ was liquid, the chips disintegrated. It was worse than a Taco Bell, nacho Bell grande, which can be quite delicious given the right circumstances. I just don’t think there are any circumstances under which he nachos would be acceptable.“

It was extremely hot to eat in the restaurant, and I feel terrible for the workers who have to go an entire shift without AC.
