“We ordered the platter with gyro meat, the feta fries, rice pilaf, and Melitzanasolata. Everything was absolutely delicious, the food was prepared quickly and the portions were generous! The feta fries were crispy and coated in melted cheese, the gyro meat was flavorful and everything seemed fresh! I love Greek food and have had it at many restaurants but this is one of the best in the area, definitely visit if you’re nearby!

“My daughter had her prom on staten island. I needed a place for dinner while my husband and I waited. Googled and found Angel's Tavern. We invited a friend to join us. Haven't seen her in 10 years. We were there from 630 to close catching up and the staff never rushed us out. They were so nice and pleasant. We ordered fried calamari and the salad with mango and goat cheese. Both were delicious. I ordered the fish special which was monkfish, clams and mussels over pasta with red sauce. My husband had the bronzini and our friend had the salmon. Everything was delicious and the portions were very generous. The only reason that I didn't give this place 5 stars is because the sauce in my entree was too salty as was the sauce on the salmon. If that was fixed, this place can't be beat.“

“The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“Don't underestimate this place. I've been to 5 star restaurants and in my opinion this eatery shares some of the same qualities that I admire in upscale restaurants: consistency and deliciousness.

The people behind the register are friendly but quiet. I go here during week when I want something that is fresh and high in protein. They provide you with generous portions so if you workout and need a solid amount of protein and carbs this is my favorite in the area. I enjoy eating here more than Chipotle, higher quality meat with bolder flavors and they serve uniform portions of chicken. They don't cut corners here.

The chicken platter is my favorite and I highly recommend it to people wanting to try something new. With the chicken platter I enjoy the fresh zesty flavors of onions, tomatoes, crisp lettuce, and tzatziki sauce on the side. I recommend ordering an extra sauce with your order. WIth the colder months I'd also recommend the their lentil soup. It was really tasty!

Side note: I don't recommend the cheese burger. It's not their specialty. Stick with the chicken platter.“

I ordered the beef and lamb gyro platter and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection. I also had the fresh mint tea which was great. Service is quick. The staff acknowledges you right away and very polite. The establishment is super clean and kid friendly. Prices are very fair, especially with today's economy. I cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.“

“Love those place. It was my first time here. We came a group of 5. The place is super clean. It’s a family restaurant. Everyone is super friendly. The food was amazing. Ordered humus with chips as an appetizer. We ordered a variety of things: Grilled mixed (chicken, lamb, beef with fries and rice), whole fish, salad 🥗 , eggplant. For dessert, it was a goatcheese with jce cream. Trust me and taste it. You can bring your own wine. Their Iced tea is good. Definitely coming back.“

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“

“This is a great little café/diner right next to the Westfield train station. We are fairly new to Westfield and went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We were wowed by the wonderful customer service of our waitress, Cindy. She was very attentive, provided great order suggestions and also brought over their delicious housemade hot sauce to go along with our eggs. All the food we ordered was wonderful, including the short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, the egg and cheese sandwich on a hard roll, and the Florentine omelette. The chef (maybe owner?), Ash even stopped by later on towards the end of our meal to check on how everything was. We meant to write this review right after that, but then never got around to it and when we went back today a few weeks later, we realized how much we needed to write this up! This time Kirsten and Cindy both helped us out, and Cindy remembered us by our orders from the last time even though we had only been here one time- very impressive and shows a great attention to detail and customer service. Ash came by also, and it was clear he remembered us as well. The food was fresh and tasty yet again (we got the French toast, egg and cheese sandwich, and Greek omelette this time) and the prices are great. This place is a gem and is definitely becoming one of our go-to spots!“
