“Some friends insisted I try Tiam Tiam. "You will love it and it's so close to your home." Words spoken by ppl that live 35 miles away ??‍♀️. Needless to say the food was so good! The fresh taste of the salmon was outrageous. The Taiwanese fried pork chop served w/cabbage and rice was so flavourful and juicy. It was as if I was in a private home. So many spices were used in the preparation it makes the pork chop a must try! Even though the trip was a 15 min circuitous journey it was so worth it. ?“

“This place was pretty good, service was not so good. My husband ordered fried milk fish but we ended up finishing the meal without the fish. We ended up cancelling it since we never got it. We also ordered sweet and sour pampano and oxtail sinigang. Both were good but the oxtail sinigang had 1 big oxtail, and 3 small ones. I DONT THINKIT WAS WORTH $28, not worth the price.“

The introduction of the Bento Boxes has been a fan favorite because it has an entree with rice , veggies and dumplings!! The amazing and friendly owner,Ms Wanny Wong,works hard to keep customers happy !! The staff is wonderful ! The chef is amazing!! “Chomi Cuisine makes terrific sushi and other delicious Japanese and Korean dishes. Having lived in Japan for 6 years, it's always fresh fish/ingredients, excellent rice which makes a big difference in taste/quality and they are super friendly with great takeout service. Very good value for money as well.I believe their sushi is better than Kenko sushi nearby. I highly recommend Chomi!“

“Let me start with the constructive feedback- and if you are still reading based on the scoring- you clearly want to try this place. -Wish there was a more accessible entry- not stroller friendly. -Wish some of their dishes came with sauce to dip in since a lot of it is finger friendly. -Wish their menu didnt label all the seafood items as vegetarian. Now the good, because a little bit of lifting and asking can help with the above! Service was amazing. Our server was super informative and guided us on our culinary excursion. Szechuan Ravioli- spicy vinaigrette so may be a little on the sour side for some, nice crisp on the outside Fried Rice- serviceable, not much to it Impossible Duck Bun - vegetarian, nice flavor profile and a good bite Vegetable Bowl - lots of veggies and a choice of noodles or rice. Get the noodles. Shanghai Wontons- we ordered this last but we should have done this first... and in multiples. My fav dish because I am a sucker for spicy peanut sauce. Spicy Vegetable Bun- also a great bun, cant go wrong with any of them really. Nice sauté on the vegetables and great flavor. If you made it this far....go! Get those shanghai wontons to start and see where your journey takes you!“

“Bobby Wongs is a welcome addition to the Hawthorne food scene. With a great niche- this soulfully Asian spot is a go to for real and quality stuff! Having them downtown is dangerous only bc I live so close! The chicken original with wok’d rice is a perfect balance of heat and savory. The beef buns ( really all the buns) are a can’t miss- any specials they have are definitely worth a try!“

“The food always tastes good. The people who work here are so sweet and kind. I lost my card and they took their time to call me and make sure they were giving the card to the right person. “My sister and I decided last minute to go out to dinner and we landed at Toro Sushi. I actually used Google assistant to call the restaurant for me and reserve a table 15 minutes before our arrival. Toro was half full when we arrived at 7pm on a Saturday but, by 8pm it was full so, our timing was perfect. Everything we ordered was excellent... edamame, tuna avocado salad, Congo roll, New York roll, tuna roll and salmon roll. Service was wonderful. We weren't rushed and food came out quickly. I'm definitely bringing my husband here the next time we visit my sister.“

The food here overall is great - we had a little bit of everything - fried rice, dumplings, udon, etc. The iced matcha latte was pretty good. There is limited seating and the place was pretty busy. I would prefer takeout from here rather than dining in but maybe except for the soufflé pancakes! Not sure those would be good via delivery. Would recommend for a quick lunch, dessert, or drinks!“

I brought my family who are not fans of sushi here and they absolutely devoured every piece of sushi that was ordered. ?? pockets hurt! The environment is very cozy compared to other sushi places. There is a lovely lady who serves my family and I every time she is fabulous!! “Vietnamese food is one of my favorite cuisines so I've had a lot of Viet food in my life. I've also been to Vietnam three times. So believe me when I say Saigon Bistro has really good Viet food! The grilled pork was delicious and juicy. Spring rolls were crispy and perfectly cooked. Summer rolls were also good. We also got the sweet corn pudding which we liked too. Oh service is great as well. We'll be back many times.“

“This is my go to (and my son’s) all the time. My absolute favorite are the shrimp buns. My son gets the shrimp buns and the beef bulgogi is his main course. I sometime splurge and get the 3+2 garlic and soy sauce flavored wings and drumsticks. What I love is both freshness, taste and consistency. It’s a husband and wife small business so also love being able to help our local economy. It sure helps they’re so pleasant. Their prices and portions are above average compared to similar businesses. Definitely recommend. I wish they had longer hours!!!“

“The food at No. 1 Wok's is very good. I've gotten take out from there over 20 times and was happy every time. I never had gastrointestinal issues after eating it because everything was fresh and properly handled. You get a lot of food here and a few times the food was even 5 star. The owner is very friendly to me and that makes me feel good because I work on the road alone most days and it's nice to have a friendly encounter of this nature.“

“Been a few times now to eat in and grab take out. The people are always friendly and helpful in both scenarios. We've gotten a couple different ramen bowls and poke/burritos. Food is always tasty and generously portioned. Only minor complaint I've ever had is that the eggs in the ramen could be a little less cooked for me but otherwise everything else has been great.“

“An expensive but very good choice for Chinese.Recommend the Peking duck and the Xiao Long Bao, the water spinach with preserves bean curb.Staff are friendly and helpful.However, unlike almost all Chinese restaurants I have experienced, they charge you for steamed rice. The prices they charge could easily cover some plain steamed rice.The Half Peking duck comes with 10 pieces of pancake. Be warned that if you need extra you better order at the same time as take about 15mins. Also the additional order is only 5 pieces for which they charge and is ridiculous they don’t inform you of this.Overall- great chive but you are nickel and dimed which is off-putting.“

I went ahead and ordered the following, fried pork dumplings, Tao chicken, Tao Beef, steamed veggies, and an order of fried rice and I have to say that all the dishes were finger licking delicious! One of the employees went out of his way to help me with my order. The place was super clean, the vive and the music was awesome too! And sometimes, they give out COUPONS for ONLINE order like take OFF MONEY for the orders you makes ONLINE. I live 15 to 18 minutes away from the Chinese restaurant. They get in VERY FAST. And I did not expect that FAST. And I order like $30 to $40, I expect that to be here in 1 hour but they get here in 30 minutes. Also I got 2 Ice Tea FREE too.“

“I had the salmon sushi lunch special. It was 3 salmon sashimi, 3 salmon sushi, and a salmon avocado roll. It was tasty and very well put together by the sushi chef. The host/cashier/waitress was very competent and courteous. The restaurant is 3 tables, but takeaway is always an option. The miso was way better than most and a nice portion. My wife had the 3 roll lunch. I snapped a photo, the sushi chef did a very nice job. I will probably return and have the same thing, it was good. They have some Chinese options as well, which we may try in the future.“

“First time trying this place. I ordered the spicy tofu bowl with noodles, yaki style. I love spicy food so much, but this bowl had me breathing fire. I had to drink so much water because the spice level was unreal. I started getting dizzy from it that I just didn't finish my food even though I was still hungry. The food was good but I couldn't be sure because of how spicy it was. Next time I will have to ask for light spice.“

“Aozora is a lovely fusion restaurant in Montclair. The decor is simple and clean. The sushi was fresh and delicious. The Tuna Tataki Roll and the Aozora Roll were yummy. But be sure to order the cod with sautéed veggies was perfect and light. The crème brûlée cheesecake was amazing!“

“You definitely don't go here for the atmosphere-you go for the food. It was a cold night and I was in the mood for some ma la flavors to get warm. I had seen this restaurant a couple of times so decided to give them a try. It is a small place, with four tables that seat four people, and a couple that seat two. One of the side walls is covered with printouts of a number of the dishes, which can be helpful for those that don't know what some of the dishes look like. There is only one person working both the register and the tables, so patience is appreciated here. Did I mention earlier that I was cold? We walked over from the parking lot under the highway (free on Saturday nights) and was very chilled by the time we entered. Cold and hungry, we ordered lamb with cumin and ma la pot chicken. My companion ordered snow pea tips and vegetable mei fun. To start, we split an order of pan fried vegetable dumplings. The waitress checked to be sure that we wanted all that food for two people-the ma la pot chicken alone is big enough to split between two people (or one VERY hungry person). Reassuring her that we wanted all that food, we settled down to wait. The dumplings came out first, and we are still trying to decide what the filling was comprised of. Carrots, cabbage and....daikon? Not sure, but it was delicious and increased our expectation for the rest of the meal. Next came the ma la pot chicken and I immediately understood why she wanted to confirm our order. I definitely was not finishing all of that in one sitting. The chicken had some lovely crunchy bits around the edges and while the dish itself is dry, the chicken was not. The ma la flavor filled my mouth and warmed my stomach. Lamb with cumin is a great dish to pair with rice, and half a bowl of rice was gone before I even blinked. My companion noted that their vegetable mei fun was flavorful and not oily although the snow pea tips could have been more tender. Overall, the meal was flavorful and a prefect choice on a cold night. I need to come back here and try out a couple more dishes that I usually order, and try a new one or two (spicy and sour potato, shredded???). Yes please!!“

“Crispy pata here is so good! Kare Kare is a must try here since they they leave peanut chunks on the sauce plus the veggies are fresh and it’s up to you to mix them up when you’re ready to eat. Halo-halo was ok, missing kaong and nata de coco but overall it’s still good since they had ube halaya and leche flan on it.“

Yummy, island mai tai was what I ordered to drink and we were served Chinese crackers, duck sauce, and hot mustard to start (complimentary). That mustard will clear your sinuses, perfect temperature for me! We ordered a poo poo, which had egg rolls, shrimp toast, spare ribs, etc. not only delicious, but visually appealing as well with a large flame! I had the hunan beef for an entree. “This is my chinese food spot. The only one I know that has half fried chicken on the menu. They will cook the food how you want it ! Fried hard , sauce on the side so the G. Tso's stays crispy, extra spicy and everything else. I've been to both their restaurants (Tao Yuen Chen and this one). Just remember... this is an American Chinese restaurant. They serve American Chinese food . If you want authentic Chinese food then go elsewhere. They are very nice and will prepare your food the way you want it .“

The taste on their dishes were standard - nothing standout. You pay for tea compare to other Asian restaurants- never disclosed btw until we paid. Servers were attentive. Place was clean.“
