The food amazing (we had a chipotle chicken, a Philly cheesesteak, and a pulled pork empanada; in addition yellow rice and black bean and a cherry empanada for desert). My wife and I were amazed to find the fresh ingredients and complimentary flavors reminded us of some of our favorite restaurants on Cozumel. My only complaint is that the food is too good for a food Truck. Mike already figured this out because he's opening a restaurant. I can't wait to see his presentation on some colorful Mexican crockery. Traditional rum, tequila, and mescal drinks would make a perfect evening.“

I called at last minute to put in a catering order and they absolutely did all they can to make sure I had all I needed in the short amount of time I provided. Definitely made a mitigating happen. My buddy and I went after midnight the day after a snowstorm. A few other food trucks showed as open on Google but were closed, and this was the only spot actually open; which we appreciated right away.

Unfortunately, the roads weren’t plowed well and my car got stuck in the snow. The chef noticed immediately and ran out of the truck to help us. He even brought out a shovel and started clearing snow himself. That level of kindness and willingness to help late at night meant a lot. You don’t see that often.

On top of that, the pierna chimi was absolutely delicious; packed with flavor and loaded with meat. It had been a while since we had one, and it definitely hit the spot. Well worth everything we went through to get there.
