We walked in on a Wednesday evening & the restaurant was empty except another family, dining in. The restaurant is clean, modern & a minimalist design.
Ordering was easy, we ordered a variety of appetizers, curries, pizzas, desserts & drinks.
The Naan pizzas are my favorite, their curries are good too! Make sure you specify your spice level when ordering.
There is paid street parking, so make sure you bring coins / pay by the app. I believe after 4 or 6pm, parking becomes free. The staff is great, welcoming & very friendly. Do note that their food is 10x better when you dine in. I've ordered delivery many times, & dine in tastes so much better!

The shrimp biryani was flavorful and nicely seasoned. The buttermilk and lime soda were both refreshing and complemented the meal well. The flavorful samosas(2) that come with a dipping sauce that have a kick to it and are great to start with. The already made stews are served with rice or roti. I chose roti this time. “Picked up lunch here on a whim because the Indian restaurant I was trying to go to was closed. Best decision ever, this place is such a gem! The service was great, guy behind the counter gave me a sample of their masala chai out of the blue and everyone was very friendly. Food is delicious and comes at a very reasonable cost. Only a bit disappointed that my dosa was not crispy (I did specify I wanted it crispy when ordering) otherwise everything is perfect! I will definitely be ordering here again!“

“Just found it on the way to our hotel when we stop at dominoes pizza ,so I just enter the restaurant and order burns road chutney paratha roll and mayo garlic roll and falooda for me and my husband. And don’t regret at all . Amazing food. And having authentic falooda after so long. I must say falooda was actually the hit better than Toronto. (We are visiting newyork from toronto.) very near by to our uncle’s home. So we will definitely stop by next visit to newyork for falooda for sure.“

“The vegetable platter was delicious, we ordered four different curries, two vegetarian and two regular ones. The mixed vegetable curry was okay, the string bean flavor was too prominent. The baingan bharta, chicken curry, and mango curry chicken was pretty good, but be warned the spicy is quite spicy. We also order mango juice and lassi, which were both very refreshing.

“I love this place, food is so good, I like seekh kabab, my wife she likes Pakoda kadhi, their aloo paratha, goat karahi, chicken karahi is so good, what i like is that they make fresh kabab as you order, not pre cooked kababs. and those two girls working there I don't know their names are so efficient, always smiling and very attentive. Food is excellent. Reminds me of Bangladesh town in the Bronx. Vegetable samosa (singhara) needs some salt. Chicken patty (puff) needs more filling (hardly 2 small pieces of chicken in them. Chicken biryani was delicious. Tandoori chicken was good as well. None of them were served with condiments (sad). The best of all is the Chai, it was spot on.

Upon arrival the cashier didn't greet or welcome, however, the server was welcoming. The server was able to speak in English and Hindi which was nice. He was patient and answered all the questions. On purpose I asked the server to pack different things randomly to see his service and he was impeccable. Good customer service.

Atmosphere: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The restaurant is in a sketchy area, not the best of places, however, the restaurant/bakery captured the essence of the area and brought beauty to it. The ambience is very south Asian and reads the area well. Music and clearly labeled menu items with prices would help.“

The goat and chicken biryani were great portions and so flavorful without being overly spicy; the samosas were crisp and the aloo tikki (which I’ve never had before) were incredible!! The garlic naan was a bit pricy but also thicker and larger than any I’ve had in any other South Asian restaurant. Cant wait to come back here for more!!“
