“The spicy chicken biscuit omg toooooo die for so my husband and I saw many people entering this spot plus it was our first time. We heard mac and cheese, greens, and fried chicken. So we got a bucket of mixed chicken, two sides of Mac and cheese, and some collard greens (they make them with black eyed peas and tomatoes; totally different from any kind of greens I ever had and I definitely was left craving more. Growing up chicken wings have always been my favorite food with buffalo wings being my go to before I discovered Korean fried chicken.

I’ve tried chicken from all of the local places and Don Chicken is by far the best! If you like heat I highly recommend the spicy soy garlic which is my go to flavor. It is hard to describe how perfectly they fry their wings - they are never soggy or too dry, consistently great every time.

A 10 piece order of wings is more than enough for one person (and I have a big appetite) - they are generous with their servings and the wings are meaty. The owners are super friendly people and create a clean welcoming environment.

Do not hesitate to give this place a try, you will not regret it! My wife loves the fries from here as well and I’ve included a picture of how large the drumsticks are if you prefer drums to wings (she chose the sweet & spicy flavor for her 5 piece order).

I will typically call to place an order for pick up, food is always fresh and ready in 10-15 minutes.

Like other Korean places they give you a disposable glove + radish to keep your hands clean and cut down the heat between bites which is a nice touch.

While the eatery itself is not so much of “a house”, and it sits right inside and beside a convenience store, the outdoor seating and the grove street vibes work perfectly on a cool summer evening. We got medium plus and medium spice levels. The medium plus works perfectly with sandos. They are well proportioned and satisfying.

The medium plus on the tenders however are spicy. While I didn’t personally try it, my friend was definitely feeling the heat, so much so he thought they gave him the next level up in spicy-ness.
