“Now THAT is a Korean corn dog. My first Korean corn dog at another spot was honestly not my favorite, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. But when I tried Jongro, I finally understood the hype.

The corn dog was really good, the potatoes were crispy and flavorful, and it definitely wasn’t bland. From what I’ve seen, Korean corn dogs can come with half a hot dog and cheese on top, but I personally wish it was a full hot dog with cheese wrapped around it.

Either way, I really enjoyed this one. Definitely add ketchup and honey mustard. I think you can also add sugar to it if that’s your preference.“

“Great little place one could easily miss if they weren't looking. Delicious dogs, relatively inexpensive prices, and great ambience, make this a go to spot. Couple of drawbacks though. Seating very limited, so best time to come is after the lunch rush and before school lets out. Also limited hours of operation, as they are only open during lunch through early afternoon rush hours, so plan accordingly. You won't regret it.“

“My kids ordered 2 portions of wings (mango habanero and Korean BBQ) and I got one of the drums (buffalo).. Kids loved their order - the mango habanero is going to be on repeat order it seems. Mine was too salty and almost inedible. The chicken was perfectly done though. Mixed bag, but my first time getting takeout from here and looks like it wont be the last.“

The burger is pricey $20+ but, sometimes it's really worth it, also the regular fries are very very very tasty (I don't like the waffle fries). “Great pastrami sandwiches. I also tried the corned beef but didn't enjoy it as much. Corn3d beef wasn't bad just not as special as the pastrami.

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“When I first moved to Jersey City over a year ago 30 burgers was there in the early hours of the morning to feed me when everywhere else was closed. Quality and portions are excellent. And not to be on the nose but when I order delicious greasy burgers and fries and hot wings and milkshakes, I anticipate some self imposed intestinal distress which has never ever occurred for me when eating here. The lamb had this incredible taste on it that packed so much flavor, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and seasoned so well that every bite was better than the last.
