“I love this place. Easily one of the must comfortable, cheap, and relaxing bars in the city. Service is great, drinks are cheap, cocktails are delicious, I highly recommend this place for anyone that wants a cheap comfy Irish pub with plenty of drink options and great, fast service. I come back here all the time.“

“My husband & I met there 46 1/2 years ago. Got engaged there the next New Year’s Eve & we’ve been married 45 years. We always visit when we come up to Jersey. I’m here alone this time but I’m going to stop in.“

The staff are super friendly, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’re right in the heart of Dublin. Perfect spot whether you’re out with friends or just looking to soak in the Hoboken nightlife!“

“I had such a wonderful experience at Royale. First it has an awesome bar and restaurant indoors and the space outdoors is beautifully decorated. I have celiac disease and they had the most delicious gluten free nachos (made on site) ever! They were perfect. I was so happy I could have them and they were excellent! Great atmosphere and food! Highly recommend when in the Village.“

“This place is outstanding. Great neighborhood atmosphere. Food is crazy good. For a game night the energy is palpable. As a Southerner that works for a NJ company, the 101 Pub represents everything great about the area - the local feel, the strong drinks, the vocal opinions about the sports teams. Not to be missed.“

“I have very fond memories here, it was like a little home from home for me while I was bi Atlantic for 6 years, working on the same block as the Pig There are lots of “Irish pubs” in the vicinity, although this is the only one that felt like a real pub in the UK rather than a novelty in New York Hopefully I will be back again one day! Thanks for great times when I was missing home 🇬🇧 xxx“
“The girls are really pretty, standard price for lap dances. The girls definitely make sure that you’re having a great time, they definitely take care of you in the best way. They don’t have that many women in that spot which is understandable considering how small the place is. So it’s best you sit somewhere comfortable where you’re not too far away from the action. But the only drawback is there isn’t much privacy in the lap dance room so you’re bunched up with other people in there plus the dancers and it does get mighty uncomfortable. They are definitely respectful towards you and treat you like human beings instead of an ATM which is rare nowadays plus they don’t pressure you to drink coming from someone who’s a non drinker.“

“Chef Melissa Mak is amazing. We’ve been dining at The Front Porch regularly for the past 12 months and not only is the food creative and delicious (Asian fusion pub food, so YUMMY!), the staff is super friendly and the drinks are awesome. We’ve had almost everything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed.“

“O'Donnell's Pub has the best Guinness I've ever had. (And I have been to Ireland). Most places must use the wrong gases, or don't clean the beer lines and it taste almost grassy. Not a O'Donnell's. It is smooth and just fantastic.“

“Just had a fantastic meal at The Laurels in NYC! The smash burger was incredible—juicy and perfectly cooked, with all the right toppings. And their lavender spritz? So refreshing! But the best part was our server, Ben. He was super attentive and made the whole experience even better. If you go, definitely ask for him!“

“GMT Tavern is a true gem in Greenwich Village. It is one of the few remaining quality pubs downtown that strikes the perfect balance between atmosphere, hospitality, and great food and drinks. I've been coming here for years, whether for a pint and conversation, post-marathon gatherings, or work events, and it never disappoints.
Unlike many downtown spots that feel like nightclubs or dives, GMT has the charm of a classic London pub—sophisticated yet unpretentious, with a welcoming and down-to-earth vibe. It’s a fantastic spot to grab a break from the hyper-commercial, often overwhelming energy of SoHo, whether you're visiting NYU, shopping nearby, or just looking for a relaxed place to unwind.
The beer selection is excellent, and their Guinness is poured to perfection. It’s also a great place to watch soccer, with TVs that enhance the experience without dominating the atmosphere. Last week, we had a fantastic server—attentive, professional, and friendly—and everything we ordered was on point. The giant pretzel was a standout, a perfectly executed pub snack that paired beautifully with a pint.
With cozy indoor seating and outdoor tables when the weather’s nice, GMT is the kind of spot you keep coming back to. I don’t live in NYC anymore, but I try to drop in whenever I’m in town. We’ll definitely host more gatherings here—the Village needs more spots like this!“

“The Malt House had a really good burger and fries definitely hit the spot. But the mocktails were a miss for me. We ordered a non-alcoholic mojito, and I’m pretty sure they added bitters, which threw off the taste. The music was also a bit of a turnoff… it felt like a mix of Halloween tunes and Broadway songs, which didn’t match the vibe at all. That said, the space looked nice and the staff was friendly and attentive.“

“This is the best bar and my favorite bar in JC. I come for the tots and stay for the drinks and the jukebox. Every time I come here is a great time. It’s a bit small and gets crowded Friday through Sunday so come a bit earlier for a seat at the bar. Very friendly atmosphere, sports and mtv vids shown. The only thing that could make this place better is showing mma fights 💜“

“Came here with some of my friends last week and we had a great meal. We got burgers, fries and some other meats. Now all 3 of my friends that came r Allison, bob, and Matt. They all work in an office and sit at a cubical all day. They definitely appreciate me taking them for dinner. We got here and it’s definitely a dive bar atmosphere I’m not used to that but it was a fun time. My friends gave it bad at home and me taking them out for dinner gave them time to vent. Allison said that her 14 yr old son crashed her car because she didn’t give him gas money, bob said that his wife tried to strangle him with her boot laces because he forgot to put soap in the washer and the clothes stunk, and Matt said that his husband did not pleasure him in bed as he had hoped for. Then all the sudden as we were eating Allison decided it would be a lovely time to start her period. She bled all over the chair so me , Matt and bob started to laugh and bully her. The staff was very helpful to her and we ended up just leaving after we ate. We were gonna stay for some beers but we decided we wanted to go home. Definitely come check this place out it’s worth ur time !“
“Hotel was a wonderful boutique hotel. Room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Location was perfect for us as we had a show at The Beacon. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Small convenient bar on 1st floor of hotel. We will definitely return when visiting NYC again.“

“Found this absolute gem of a place when looking for an authentic dive bar in NYC. What can I say, this place has it all. Jamie and Reggie are possibly the most chill bartenders in NYC with an amazing eye for making people feel welcome.
The bar has plenty of regulars who swing by many times a week. The customers are mostly between the age of 21–35, which definitely makes David's a good spot to make new friends. It doesn't really matter if you're looking for a cool place to hang out with a friend or traveling by yourself. Just sit at the bar, you'll be having a conversation in no time. The domestic beers are 5$, so a steal in that regard too.
Will sure visit again when I make it back to NYC from Finland.“

“The band, The Gyst were fantastic. They are a professional band, sound great, and I drove 3 hours to hear them play. The place and people loved them, I would suggest having them play at your establishment more often. The food was also phenomenal.“

“I wasn't going to share this place with anyone because I don't want it to get crowded but I have to bc I love it so much. Presenting my new watering hole in Bergen! The location is where the old 21 used to be, on the top floor of the Son Jjajang building. Great happy hour everyday 4-8!! It's a steal considering how good the food is. Happy hour all types of soju are $8.99 and beers are cheap too. All the big dishes on the happy hour menu are between $14-$18 and I think the portion sizes are the same! I have yet to try something that I don't love on the menu. Their: Cheese buldak (fire chicken w/ mozzarella cheese.. ask for medium spicy if you can't do heat!) Jogae sujebi (Korean version of.. gnocchi? in clam broth..I always order another side of sujebi) Donkatsu (breaded & fried pork cutlet) Tofu & kimchi Ddukbokki (spicy rice cakes... I usually ask for cheese on this also lol) Tong dak (whole fried chicken) Gaeran mari (Korean cheese omlette w/ fried garlic on top) Budae jjigae (Korean army soup, goes great with soju!) and weirdly enough their giant plate of FRIES (idk what they do to those fries they're just fries but they're so good lol) are among some of my favorites. However, the food tends to be on the spicier side which isn't an issue for me, but if you can't handle too much spice be sure to tell your waiter. I can't say enough about how good the food is. The chef apparently refuses to use anything but the best ingredients and it shows in the taste of the food. Portions are big too! Obviously I eat here a lot... lol Oh and the servers and manager are all so nice!! One time we had a big party of 10 but they didn't have space so they put us in their only karaoke room in the back. We wanted to watch the US Open but we couldn't figure out the TV in the room so the manager found an HDMI cable and hooked his own cellphone up to it so we could watch. How sweet?!! At the moment they only serve soju and beer but I have been told that they will start offering liquor soon :) Like I said, I don't want this place to get crowded but they deserve the business with food and service like this. I hope they stick around and become a new staple in Pal Park! PS. The menu is entirely in Korean so bring a friend who is fluent or ask the waiters for suggestions! I will definitely have to mention to them that they should make an English version of their menu. Will be back with pictures later!“

“Came here on a hot September afternoon and got a table right away. Our waitress was so friendly! We shared the Santa Fe chicken wrap in a spinach tortilla — absolutely delicious. The sweet potato fries were crisp and perfect with honey mustard for dipping. I had a mule, and it was the ideal refreshing drink. Such a great spot for a light, tasty midday lunch!“

“Karol's Pub is a hidden gem. They sell Zywiec, which is great Polish beer, smooth and incredibly potent. The walls are covered with cartoon murals, there's a pool table in the back, a dart board, and an awesome digital jukebox. Karol himself is a great, easygoing funny guy. The bar has plenty of regulars, and DJs on Friday nights. They don't sell food, however they have menus from nearby pizza places available and you can order delivery to the pub.“
