“Didn’t expect to find my best crispy pork belly of the year at a Thai spot!!! The skin was insanely crisp yet slightly chewy. The dipping sauce on the side was perfectly balanced.

For the main, we went with the panang short ribs. The beef was coated in a rich, mildly spicy curry. We added steamed veggies instead of rice and they fit curry.“

“Went to Sappe NYC for dinner and honestly loved it. The food was so good. We tried a few different dishes and everything had so much flavor without feeling heavy. The pad thai and curry were standouts for me, and the drinks were great too.

Patt was our server and she made the whole experience even better. She was super kind, patient with our questions, and gave really solid recommendations. She checked on us just enough and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.

Overall just a really fun dinner. I’ll definitely be back.“

“We absolutely love this place. The food is very authentic. It’s a small location, but they do a great job of getting you your order relatively quickly. Everything is very delicious and some people were even waiting outside because of how good the food is. There were also a lot of delivery orders we could see your people coming for takeout. I highly recommend you trying this place. It can get very busy around dinner time so come before then or a little bit after like around 7:30 p.m..“

“We did a takeout from prince & i and it is a tasty and refreshing meal, perfect for chilly winter nights. We had khao soi and tom yum soup and both were packed meticulously. The chef asked us for our requirements and explained that the place is not like traditional thai food and also graciously accepted our request to cook the poached egg fully. There are many street food places in Bangkok 🇹🇭that specialize in KHAO MAN GAI and its considered a traditional Thai 🇹🇭 food. To find an excellent poached chicken in Bangkok 🇹🇭it’s a mission so to find one , in the east village is a beautiful and tasty surprise. I had the KHAO MAN GAI - poached chicken 🍗 and the Gai Yang- grilled chicken 🍗. The chicken was tender and juicy , was cooked perfectly and it’s the same for the grilled and the poached, the sauce was spicy 🌶️ and reminded me the streets of Bangkok 🇹🇭the rice and the soup as well were rich, perfect balanced and delicious. The restaurant stands tall on delivering the promise of her name. Authentic Thai 🇹🇭 food. The place is small and warm , simple , the staff is welcoming and friendly, and the reasonable price ( 18$ for the set ) makes it A MUST in New York today. Come as you are and fast 🇹🇭🇹🇭“

“One of the best , very authentic Thai place.
This is a tiny hole in the wall, street food kind of place.
I had their lemongrass chicken..it was delicious, you could taste the lemongrass on the chicken too .

We also has chicken satay, which was also quite delicious. This will probably become my regular Thai food eatery when I feel like eating Thai“

“Dropped in for just a snack and got the Crab Rangoons which for some reason I feel are so hard to come by in nyc. These were great! The filling was smooth and had nice flavor, and the dough was very very crispy which is what makes or breaks a rangoon for me so I was happy about that. My only gripe was that the amount of sauce was sooo small and definitely not enough!

Also had a Thai Tea which was not too dense and rich, it was more of a refreshing and lighter, yet still creamy thai tea which was exactly what I needed in the moment so it hit so well.“

ATMOSPHERE: The restaurant is small, with a total of 6 tables or so. Although they have a heater, it gets cold during the winter, because the door keeps opening and closing.

FOOD: I liked the expansive menu, the lunch special, and clearly labeled vegetarian options. The Pad Thai was a little bit sweet to my liking, but still yummy.“
