“Would recommend! Great experience. Got the fried branzino, pad see ew, Crying Tiger, and a side of sautéed morning glory for a party of 3 people. Was a good amount, had a little bit of leftover but everyone was very full.
Favorite was the branzino! Would also reco getting the side of vegetables as it was a great palate resetter.“

“My review is based on a party of 1pax (myself).
Very welcoming and cozy, modern Thai restaurant with the South East Asian flare you'd be looking for if having visited Thailand before. Decor is a mix of modern and traditional which gives a nice feel, ambiance is relaxed.
I was greeted with friendly & warm smiles and seated at the spacious bar area where Yatika helped me decide food/drink choices. I can vouch for the excellent food quality and selection (Northern Thai & Bangkok) having ordered Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao & Tom Kha soup
Shout out to Yatika for the excellent service and making your patrons feel welcomed and wanting to come back! I'd highly recommend and will definitely be back when coming through the city. Double 👍👍“

“Not too busy for a weekday lunch. Prices and portions are reasonable. Service is quick and cheerful. Decor is bright and uniquely Thai.
Chicken wings - not the best I’ve had but the meat is moist and tender.
Crab fried rice - decent amount of crab meat chunks. Fried rice tastes slightly above average. Not too oily.
Mama more fire - flavors are superb. Has instant noodles in it. Half boiled egg is a great touch.
Thai iced tea - best Thai iced tea in town.“

“I love the food, so far every dish I have tried has been excellent, seems like authentic Thai food as they say if many people from that country eats there it is a compliment to its authenticity.
The service from the workers especially Tang she helps me every time and is so courteous, friendly and helpful.
I am disabled and Tang is always attentive and helpful with entering exiting as well as when I order take she brings it out to my car to save me having to get out, all of this is so amazing and rare in a very busy city like New York.
Thank you for always being you. <3“

“Seriously one of the best Thai restaurants in Hell’s Kitchen. The place is small, but the flavors they offer pack a big punch.
The seafood pad Thai, kangkung, and shrimp eggplant dishes were all the rage. I enjoyed the crispness of the kangkung, the umami from the eggplant, and the tenderness of mussels and squid in their pad Thai. I can’t wait to come back and try some more of their delicious offerings.
The duck curry (I think this was a panang base) and the som tum was so flavorful and was packed with so much decadence. I really appreciated how ThongLor highlighted produce typically found in Thai cuisine, and didn’t skimp out on the bamboo shoot. They also added pineapple in their curry, which isn’t traditional of Thai cuisine but really added some acid to the dish which made it so balanced.
We had a bua loi for dessert and I’ll be honest, it wasn’t the best one I’ve had, but it still felt like a warm hug and a nice palate cleanser for the meal. I wish that the bua loi had more of a thicker coconut consistency, and that the taro balls weren’t as stuck together so it was easy to pick up. That being said, it was still a great end to our wonderful meal.
Would I come back again? Absolutely. I highly recommend coming to this place with no more than 4 people. Seating is limited in the space so bring 3 of your closest friends and try everything on the menu.“

“The food here is always worth it — I've never ordered something I didn't like and the portions are generous! I ordered the eggplant basil tofu, which had a bit of spice and lots of flavor. My friend ordered pad Thai and two Moscow mules — the best she's had in the area! The decor and ambiance is always impressive, although table seating on the first floor can feel tight. We got seated upstairs (my second time), and the only issue is that after you get your meal, service is slow — it almost feels like they forget about you.“

“Really cozy and cute place on the second floor. I had the green curry with crab, which I enjoyed!
Just know that when you get the receipt, they already automatically calculate in 18% tip to your total bill. I almost tipped them twice, so beware of this. I felt that was a bit shady, and if I hadn’t read the bill closely, I would have easily paid more than necessary.“

This is a tiny hole in the wall, street food kind of place.
I had their lemongrass chicken..it was delicious, you could taste the lemongrass on the chicken too .
We also has chicken satay, which was also quite delicious. This will probably become my regular Thai food eatery when I feel like eating Thai“

“Midtown, You’ve Been Holding Out on Us
We stumbled into BKK last night for a pre-concert dinner before seeing the Orchestra of St. Luke’s at Carnegie Hall. Total last-minute booking because our original plans fell through and thank god they did, because this ended up being one of the most unexpectedly excellent Thai meals we’ve had in the city.
This stretch of 56th Street is usually a culinary dead zone, the kind of place you go for proximity, not pleasure, so finding something this good felt like cheating the system. The décor was surprisingly polished, almost transporting. It reminded us of the kind of sleek, design-forward restaurants you’d see in Bangkok where every detail, down to the plates and glassware, feels intentional.
We started with their signature shrimp donuts, and honestly, whoever came up with these deserves a raise. Fried appetizers tend to live and die by oil temperature and salt, but these were next-level: crisp, caramel-tinged crust, almost like a hint of molasses, and somehow still light. Don’t sleep on them.
The papaya salad with jumbo shrimp was bright and refreshing though I did ask for ‘Thai spicy’ and clearly got the “he’s can’t be serious, don’t hurt him” version. Next time I’ll insist.
For my main, I ordered the half roasted chicken, which was impressively tender, both white and dark meat perfectly done, no dryness in sight. It came with these small pickles that were so well balanced I could’ve eaten them as a side dish on their own. The sticky rice it came with was also a nice touch just what you want to chase every bite with.
My husband had the Pad See Ew with chicken and made a point to also say how juicy the chicken was which, let’s be real, almost never happens with chicken breast. His only critique: could’ve used a little more wok hei, that smoky char you want from a good stir-fry, but otherwise it hit all the right notes.
Dessert time: the Thai Iced Tea Panna Cotta was an absolute standout rich, aromatic, and not cloyingly sweet. Whoever decided to make Thai tea into a panna cotta deserves applause. The coconut ice cream with shaved salted egg on top was clever and generous in portion. The coconut flavor could’ve been stronger, but as someone who also loves plain vanilla, I didn’t mind at all.
Cocktails? Also excellent. I had the Sticky Situation (Earl Grey, citrus, something else I can’t remember but it worked). My husband had another equally creative one — strong, balanced, and beautifully presented.
All in all, BKK feels like the rare Midtown Thai restaurant that isn’t just going through the motions. It’s thoughtful, delicious, and clearly run by people who care about flavor and design in equal measure. I just hope they don’t water things down over time to cater to diners whose idea of Thai food stops at pad thai and spring rolls.
We’ll definitely be back preferably before another concert, but honestly, this place is reason enough for a special trip on its own.“

“Almost walked by this place - definition of hidden gem. Most enthusiastic and friendly owner. Most interesting and delicious pad thai, thai crepe, ive ever had, out of probably 100+ thai spots. This immediately rose to #1 position. I'll be back... often!“

“I’ve been to many Thai restaurants around the world 🌍 , in New York 🗽and also in Bangkok 🇹🇭 and the KHAO MAN GAI , the classic poached chicken is a very much a THAI dish as Singaporean 🇸🇬 dish as it comes from the East. There are many street food places in Bangkok 🇹🇭that specialize in KHAO MAN GAI and its considered a traditional Thai 🇹🇭 food. To find an excellent poached chicken in Bangkok 🇹🇭it’s a mission so to find one , in the east village is a beautiful and tasty surprise. I had the KHAO MAN GAI - poached chicken 🍗 and the Gai Yang- grilled chicken 🍗. The chicken was tender and juicy , was cooked perfectly and it’s the same for the grilled and the poached, the sauce was spicy 🌶️ and reminded me the streets of Bangkok 🇹🇭the rice and the soup as well were rich, perfect balanced and delicious. The restaurant stands tall on delivering the promise of her name. Authentic Thai 🇹🇭 food. The place is small and warm , simple , the staff is welcoming and friendly, and the reasonable price ( 18$ for the set ) makes it A MUST in New York today. Come as you are and fast 🇹🇭🇹🇭“

“✨ Thai comfort at its finest ✨
Dinner at IMM Thai Comfort Food was such a treat. The honey ginger ribs stole the show. The wings were crispy, saucy, and packed with flavor (the crunchy garlic + scallions were everything 🥹🔥). The crab rangoon were some of the best I’ve had, cheesy, creamy, and loaded with real crab. 🦀💛
The curry crab? Immaculate. We absolutely demolished it. The Khao Man Gai (tender poached chicken with rice) was a comforting classic …simple yet soulful, especially when eaten fresh. 🍗🍚 The Pad Thai leaned sweeter and nutty with the peanuts, not totally my vibe, but definitely still fresh and authentic.
Pairing it all with a crisp Thai beer just sealed the night. 🍺🌶️ Truly a cozy spot for when you’re craving bold flavors and comfort all on one table.“

“The Pad Mee Duck OMG. Expensive, but soooooo worth it. We ordered takeout. I am not high. This was phenomenal. I ordered it to step outside my comfort zone (I normally do a Drunken Noodle), and omgoodness…. I’ll never order anything again. From Charm Thai, at least. 12/10.“

“The food we tried was delicious!! Seating upstairs and on main level. The mango salad with shrimp (a little spicy- not too much at all) and the curry pancakes are outstanding! I would come back again and again for those dishes- Best pancakes ever- nothing like a scallion pancake I’ve had before! The Thai crackers (with coconut shrimp and topped with a bit of pineapple and hot red pepper) were good- the rice cracker could be thinner. Unfortunately the margarita was terrible. It was stiff, foul no margarita mix. The mango drink with sticky rice on top was interesting- I liked it, bae wouldn’t order it again.“

“Dropped in for just a snack and got the Crab Rangoons which for some reason I feel are so hard to come by in nyc. These were great! The filling was smooth and had nice flavor, and the dough was very very crispy which is what makes or breaks a rangoon for me so I was happy about that. My only gripe was that the amount of sauce was sooo small and definitely not enough!
Also had a Thai Tea which was not too dense and rich, it was more of a refreshing and lighter, yet still creamy thai tea which was exactly what I needed in the moment so it hit so well.“

“This was my first time ordering from Thai 4 Thought, and it won’t be my last. I was immediately greeted by the friendliest employee (possibly the owner?) I should’ve gotten her name she exuded the best energy. She even gave me some Thai Iced Tea to try while I waited for my order. I got the Lunch special Pad See Ew with tofu. So fragrant, chewy, and delicious. And the portion size is great.“
