“I was excited to get warm with soup after Pompton Lakes’ Holiday Stroll. I got the Hot Lemongrass Beef Pho. This is hands down the best pho I’ve had since leaving California. Boiling Pho is legit!! The noodles were chewy and not soggy. The beef brisket was so tender. The sliced beef was fresh. The broth was immaculate on a cold night and super flavorful. Nothing beats a good bowl of pho. I can’t wait to include this place in my weeknight dinner rotation! Thank you for the great food, atmosphere, and service!!“

“We have been to Made in Italy many times during all of the ownership changes. We have been for dinner, had graduation parties and gone for dessert only. We were so happy to hear that it was open at night again. My husband recently had knee replacement and was itching to get out. We decided to go for coffee/dessert at Made in Italy. He struggled to get in the car and out when we arrived. It was 8:30 Saturday night when they close at 10. There were over 15 tables open - we asked to be seated for coffee and dessert only to be told they don’t do that. They wouldn’t seat us - they gave us their card and told us to check the menu when we got home- which we did. The second paragraph of the website says - stop by just to have a cup of our gourmet coffee. They had many tables open and preferred to turn us away. Needless to say - we will not be going back.“

We went on a February weekday (Wednesday Lunch time) and the place was clean, well decorated for Valentine's. There was a good crowd and I can see that the staff were all busy doing something work related. Our waiter was attentive and although his English was limited , he still made an attempt. The food was good- Bandeja de Paisa never disappoints. I like how this dish is consistent whether I eat it at their Hackensack location or Englewood location. For the first time I tried their calamari. It was good and I like the sweet chili sauce (an homage to my Asian routes haha). Overall a good place to eat!“

You can order it with chicken or whatever you might like. Definitely try it, they make it well. “OMG! This restaurant was awesome. It was right next to the Fairfield inn. We could walk to the place. What’s great surprise when we discovered it was a bbq place! Boom our heads exploded with the great smoky flavors flowing out from the kitchen. We were seated by a lovely lady who was very attentive and exited that we came in. The waitress was also great and was vey excited to tell us what her absolute favorites were so we jumped at the items she talked about. I got the burnt pork butt and brisket ends with Mack and cheese and coleslaw, my wife got a great chicken dinner. Along with a few beer options. Delicious just doesn’t cover how good the meal was!! The best part of all the price! Read the menu so you can see what it cost. You will be amazed. If you are in Mahwah area you got to check this place out!!“
