“My husband works in Hawthorne and we we’re looking for a good Italian restaurant. After Google reviews we decided to order from Ossy’s and we are so glad we did. When you first walk in the atmosphere is nostalgic and authentic. The staff is so warm and welcoming. I spoke with Ken the last time to place our order and he was a total sweetheart. We have ordered from them twice so far and their food is second to none. You can taste their passion for food. My husband ordered the Chicken Napolitano both times and said it was out of this world delicious. My son ordered Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and practically licked his plate clean!! I ordered Chicken Marsala and Chicken Sorrentino and it was one of the best I have ever had. Yes this is coming from a Jersey Italian whose family once owned a restaurant in Newark so my standards are very high. We did takeout but we are looking forward to bringing the family to the restaurant for a sit down meal. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant look no further. Ossy’s is your place!“

“We just ate there for the first time at the Warren location. We were surprised how busy they were on a Sunday since they are near an office complex. I had a burger, onion rings and a chocolate milk shake. All 3 were delicious. My husband had the hot pastrami and French fries. Both were excellent. We highly recommend.“

Definitely stick to the pastrami.

Make sure you give yourself time. The line is long and they take their time with every customer. Very slow moving but worth the wait.“

“On my first night over from the UK I was welcomed as a local. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They gave me tasters to find the right beer & it was great.
I returned over several nights & had a similar welcome; even remembered me by my name.

“The food was easily the best Arab food I’ve had. Ever. The owners were super nice and actually invited us to sit instead of take out, and we got complimentary toum (also best toum I’ve ever had), peppers, pickles, and some sort of Arab bread. The bread was nice and crackly and there was a LOT of it. The toum, unlike other Arab places with toum, was actually light and had that whipped texture that is desired. The garlic flavor was on point and not too overpowering. The star of the show was easily the crispy chicken shawarma, though. It looks small in some videos, but it was wider than my mouth. I had to do some talking to find out myself, but to get the fries, toum, and pickles next to the shawarma, you need to ask for the crispy chicken shawarma combo. It was super crispy, and the breading was very nicely toasted. I kept finding myself layering the top with some pickles, fries, and more toum. They also drizzled some pomegranate molasses on the chicken shawarma, which gave it a tangy but also fruity aftertaste. We also ordered the charcoal chicken and kebab. The kebab, instead of normal beef on a stick, actually came with some yellow rice and some REALLY GOOD spicy seasoned bread that was very soft and moist on some parts and crispy on the others. You could literally see the spice particles on it. The charcoal chicken was juicy, tender, and had that charcoal roasted flavoring. It even came with a bunch of complimentary fries. The fries on both the shawarma and the charcoal chicken was nicely battered, and the shawarma fries were very well seasoned. The only thing is that the bathroom is through a door that leads upstairs, and you have to open two doors. If you’re someone like me and don’t like the feeling of putting grip on things with sticky stuff on your hands, you won’t like that. It’s one of those turn knobs. Finally, the music made me feel like I was actually back in Abu Dhabi watching fire shows while eating falafel. Please visit, they are amazing people who make amazing food!“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

I purchased here a few times via the TGTG app and purchased bagels and their delicious home made assorted flavor cream cheeses. Additionally, the owner Ernesto and his wife are so genuine, customer service focused and take pride in the products/service they provide to their clients and community. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. “My son was recently diagnosed with EOE and is dairy, nut and egg free. Someone recommended AltEats so I contacted Laurie and she worked her magic! My son was able to enjoy an amazingly delicious birthday cake for the first time! She also created the most delicious cannoli filled cake for my guests! I can’t say enough about how easy Laurie was to work with and how lucky I feel blessed I feel to have found this establishment!“

I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. Their food is delicious, atmosphere warm and friendly. I recommend this place and we will be back.“

The pickup window is very convenient if you’re in a hurry. Also, Morgan is the best barista and all around a great human being! My husband and I drive 30 minutes every weekend to get here and it’s worth it!“

“We seated ourselves at a table , rang the bell for service and within 10 minutes had our drinks. Orders taken and wheeled to us in 10 minutes. The spring rolls with shrimp are yummy, my Pho had a wonderful rich flavor, the reg size was large enough. Will be going back, Gloria our server was fantastic, polite, with a welcoming smile.
