“My husband works in Hawthorne and we we’re looking for a good Italian restaurant. After Google reviews we decided to order from Ossy’s and we are so glad we did. When you first walk in the atmosphere is nostalgic and authentic. The staff is so warm and welcoming. I spoke with Ken the last time to place our order and he was a total sweetheart. We have ordered from them twice so far and their food is second to none. You can taste their passion for food. My husband ordered the Chicken Napolitano both times and said it was out of this world delicious. My son ordered Rigatoni with Vodka sauce and practically licked his plate clean!! I ordered Chicken Marsala and Chicken Sorrentino and it was one of the best I have ever had. Yes this is coming from a Jersey Italian whose family once owned a restaurant in Newark so my standards are very high. We did takeout but we are looking forward to bringing the family to the restaurant for a sit down meal. If you are looking for a great Italian restaurant look no further. Ossy’s is your place!“

“We just ate there for the first time at the Warren location. We were surprised how busy they were on a Sunday since they are near an office complex. I had a burger, onion rings and a chocolate milk shake. All 3 were delicious. My husband had the hot pastrami and French fries. Both were excellent. We highly recommend.“

“We visited this spot specifically for the pastrami, and it did not disappoint. It has a milder flavor compared to Katz's, which I actually prefer since it allowed me to finish the whole sandwich in one go. Katz's meat is so intensely flavorful that I usually need to take a break and cleanse my palate before I can finish later. This place is a fantastic alternative if you're in Jersey. The prices are reasonable, and the 8 oz option is perfect for satisfying your craving without breaking the bank. The Knish and macaroni salad were delicious as well. They give you delicious pickles. We’ll definitely be returning often. Update January 2026. Stopped by for some pastrami sandwiches. They are still delicious and worth every penny. Hot dog special this week, $2.00. They were flavorful with an awesome snap.“

“Really cute spot and they are so nice. We ordered macarons (chocolate and raspberry) which were perfect and so delicious. We also got an almond and a Nutella croissant. I got their special strawberry matcha which came with strawberry/matcha cold foam which was light and refreshing. My bf ordered a dark mocha latte which he said was really good. We sat outside since the sun was finally out and warm and they brought everything beautifully plated.
The only thing is that parking can be a bit difficult since a lot of the street parking is taken out.“

“Went to jersey with some friends to ski and snowboard and let me tell you this bakery made the whole trip 10 times better the food was amazing she gave me and my whole group chia I think its spelled and I was awoken to how good it was and I will definitely be going back everytime im in New Jersey“

“Great beer! Greater staff! Always friendly. Clean fun atmosphere They have great outdoor space for when the weather is nice. Bolero is also a great spot to host a party! We have thrown 2 surprise birthday parties there one inside and one outside. Can’t recommend Bolero enough. It has turned into our regular hang out spot.“

“My only complaint is that the lone worker today, when I was paying with a credit card (without tap) took my card and tried to use tap. Before she took my card I was going to put it into the card processor. When I pointed out that it doesn’t have tap, she (2x’s) typed my card information into the register screen and it was declined (plenty of credit was available because I got gas with it shortly after). I then used my debit card which she just took from me and again tried to use tap (again not a feature on that card either). She was finally able to put my card information for the debit card and it went through. If she had let me put my card in in the first place there would have been no problem with the original transaction attempt. I feel some of the staff might need better/more training on using the register.“

“We pulled off the highway for a coffee and stumbled upon this gem. The pastry menu is filled with unique items and great flavor combinations. I had the ube pan de sal and the Kashmir cardamom latte with oat milk. I absolutely love both! The location seemed surprising at first, it’s located in a larger office complex, but inside it feels comfortable with warm lighting and plenty of seating. They also sell records and prepared wraps and desserts. Check it out if you’re in the area! I will be sure to stop by next time I’m passing through.“

Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! Make sure to get the sushi with MIXED RICE it is a game changerrr. Everything is fresh and delish. You do get what you’re paying for. The yakisoba is a honorable mention. We always get the kani salad, avocado fries, and the koshi tacos so good. For sushi we get the “for two” special and order either the Watchung roll, JJ roll, or the Jersey roll all with mixed rice.. honestly been coming here for over 2 years consistently and never had a bad experience..

“Got invited to a #yelp event. I said pizza. I’m in. This place is kind of hidden but well worth it. Many pizza slices available. Soon as you walked in and smell the greatness you are going to have. The had sandwiches as well. I decided to get the Popeye slice (spinach & ricotta) and a prosciutto slice. Oh my goodness was amazing!! They had about 10 flavors of gelato to pick from as well. I got a scoop of the pistachio & a scoop of fruity pebbles. I was told by the owners daughter who was at register (very polite & friendly) they make them in house. I had to drive little of 30 min to get there. If you’re in the area stop by or if you like me take a ride. You won’t be sorry. There’s a fountain outside where you or the kids can cool off. My son was able to enjoy an amazingly delicious birthday cake for the first time! She also created the most delicious cannoli filled cake for my guests! “My husband and I was craving some good authentic pizza and let me just say this place DID NOT disappoint. The owner and everyone that worked there was super nice which made me love it even more. I wanted my husband who’s from Baltimore to try zeppole, he’s never heard of it and for me, growing up in Bk and Staten Island it was one of my childhood favs. They didn’t have any made when I asked about it which was fine but while I was in conversation with their delivery driver the owner came out with some. He actually went out of his way to make me some zeppole, and it was delicious and extremely nostalgic for me. He has no idea how that made my day and brought back so many memories to me. The pickup window is very convenient if you’re in a hurry. Also, Morgan is the best barista and all around a great human being! My husband and I drive 30 minutes every weekend to get here and it’s worth it!“
