“I love their Chicken Pita wrap and wings.Make sure to ask for “double fried” which makes it extra crispy like the Korean Fried Chicken. My favorite sauce of choice always would be honey bbq. The Gyro platter is my second favorite but I will always go for the Chicken Pita wrap because the meat and sauce consistency is excellent. They also have a banana pudding that you cannot forget to buy as a side. I normally hate chunky bananas in my banana pudding but theirs is absolutely my favorite. (No chunky banana’s)The service is okay (that’s where I give it 4.5) there is one guy there that never smiles or laughs I’m not sure what his issue is but every time I went there in the lunch time he never seemed to be welcoming but I never let that affect me. I just come the hours he’s not there. But either way the other employees and owner are fantastic don’t let one mood ruin your whole day.The food is great. Overall I would pick this place when I need my gyro fix in the Wayne area.“
“My brother and I came here and both got the beef shawarma. It's hard to find good middle eastern food in NJ but their shawarma was the best i've had since leaving Lebanon. The owners were so kind and the whole place really had such a nice ambiance. Definitely give this a place a try.“
“Antepli is amazing. The Kanafeh and Baklava are absolutely delicious, and always worth coming by for on a weekend night. The cold variant with the ice cream is so good and my go to. The Turkish tea is always a delight to have with your sweets as well. It can get busy, especially on weekends and nights, but your patience will most definitely be rewarded here.“
“Quaint little spot with parking in the back. Friendly pleasant staff & good food. Went on a Friday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. The amazing seasonings in the rice was our fave, the hummus and pita, and falafel was also great. The mint lemonade hit the spot and the lentil soup was yummy. Only disappointment was with how oily the fries were. We barely touched it. Aside from this, we enjoyed our time here and would return.“
“Zaffron Bloom in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, is a delightful addition to the culinary scene, offering a fusion of Modern Persian Cuisine with Middle-terranean influence. Helmed by Chef Shahin, whose years of catering experience have culminated in the realization of her dream restaurant, Zaffron Bloom promises a unique dining experience. The restaurant's namesake spice, saffron, is aptly celebrated for its rich history, cultural significance, and exquisite flavor profile.During our lunch visit, we were treated to a delicious meal that surpassed our expectations. The service was impeccable, exceeding the standard. Our decision to dine at Zaffron Bloom was influenced by a friend's glowing recommendation, and we're thrilled to have discovered this gem. Zaffron Bloom truly embodies the essence of "the spice of life" with its innovative approach to traditional Persian cuisine. Deliciousness!! To all Yelpers.... Guys we have to support small local business. It's more important than you can imagine especially during these times. Give them a try, we're sure you'll enjoy it. Be on the lookout... a little insider info, they'll soon be opening a market adjacent to Zaffron. Good luck with all and future ventures. @vinopotato.“
“If you are looking for a delicious Mansaf, Kan Zaman is the place. The service is very friendly and the portion of the meal is more than enough. The atmosphere is also great. Very good seatings and you can always have the Arabic coffee thats available for free after the meal. Keep it up guys ??“
“Amazing Falafel sandwiches, authentic as it gets, and as clean as it gets!Vegetarian options: Vegetarians will love this place, king of falafelKid-friendliness: Staff is super friendly and the inside is very cozy, your family will feel at home“
“Al-Basha is a wonderful, essential restaurant in Clifton/Patterson NJ. It features some of the most flavorful food around, great service and a spacious modern atmosphere (now with an outdoor area in the back.) Note that parking isn't necessarily easy but (as is applicable for the general area) you should be able to find side street parking without too much hassle. We had the Mix Mashawi, Hummus, Labna, Basha Fries, and Falafel wrap. Everything was excellent and while there's a lot of meat available, the vegetarian options are also quite enjoyable. The star of the show however might be something that's technically not even on the menu- the Mint Lemonade. I cannot overstate how amazing this drink is (if you look around, you'll see the waiters almost exclusively carrying these to every table- that should tell you all you need to know.)Al-Basha is one of those places where you can't go wrong with what you order. I'm happy to recommend this restaurant and personally can't wait to go back.Parking: Don't even bother with the main street, try the side streets and be ready for a short walk (but it's not too bad.)“
“My family and I stopped by for dinner this evening and were left feeling very impressed. All the ingredients were very fresh and thr food was very tasty. Mohammed was also very friendly and respectful towards everyone. I would recommend this restaurant to all those who love Middle Eastern food - there are plenty of options for vegans/vegetarians too.“
“This place is amazing! Such fresh food and amazing service! I regularly get the chicken schnitzel platter (make sure to get the white sauce, it is incredible) and I also love their falafel pita sandwich - they have an incredible salad bar with all types of toppings - once you’ve gone here, you won’t be able to go anywhere else - real talk“
“The food is very delicious, fresh, and it is a great portion. I like the sides that the sandwich comes with. The shawarma is very flavorful and perfect. I picked the lamb shawarma sandwich and would recommend it. The service was amazing and everyone working there was very friendly and helpful. All of our orders were correct. The ambiance was great too, it a nice and many tables to sit at. The music wasn't too loud. I would highly recommend this spot if you are in the area and looking for a good bite to eat.“
“We’ve been going to and have catered from Al Basha many times over the years. The food is always very good and the service is great. Mahmoud and rest of the people always provide excellent service. Would highly recommend this place for take out and catering!“
“Today was my first visit here, and it made me wish I lived closer! George and his staff made us feel like family, and the food was all so fresh and delicious. We started with an order of Zaatar fries [where have you been all my life]. They arrived crispy and seasoned to perfection. They need nothing, but a side of lebneh to dip in would take them over the top; note to self for next time... Next out was a huge and stunning platter, the mixed grill for two. See my pic for the lovely presentation of tasty grilled meats and veggies they served us. There was more than enough for us to share, and it was all thoughtfully prepared. Sure, I may have overdone it with the garlic sauce, but it was worth every minute! Just make sure everyone else has some, too.Not everyone belongs in this business, but George and his people certainly do; I feel like I just got back from having home-cooked lunch at my cousin's.Oh, don't miss the Iced Mint Lemonade! They serve it frozen, and it's a real treat.“
“I left a 5 star review but updating to share a few videos. The knafa has more of a savory sweet taste vs. other bakeries that drench it with syrup. Anytime I go, I get the znoot el sit, which is soft on the top and middle, and crispy at the bottom. So good!“
“I tried EFI’s today from just passing by without looking at any reviews/ knowledge about the place i was PLEASANTLY surprised on the food! I got 2 lamb gyros and spanakopita to go. The lamb meat was GOOD but I got some nasty hard pieces. But, after getting rid of the pieces the gyros were great STUFFED with fries and I Loved it! I would 100% go back but i would personally try the chicken instead. The spanakopita was great and enough to share between two!“
“You have great delicious food, you are healthy, welcoming with a smile, service is fast, there is no waiting time, the food comes immediately, you are very kind, the taste of the lahmacun is delicious, I am pleased to come constantly ten stars.Excellent food , all stuff is respect and a very clean place . Highly recommended“
“Le Souk felt like I was enjoying a meal in someone's home in Syria. Soft, Middle Eastern guitar melodies played in the background as I enjoyed my food. The restaurant was decorated with a myriad of artistic knickknacks. My server was polite, and they came to check in throughout my time there.I took advantage of the 4 appetizers for $30 deal as I was not super hungry. I ordered their beet salad, falafel waffle, stuffed grape leaves, and stuffed kebeh. I intended on ordering the dandelion greens, but they were not available, which was disappointing. The food I did receive, though, was a nice window into their menu. The stuffed kebeh was my favorite, a nice crispy shell with a nutty flavor, juicy ground beef inside, with just a little pomegranate syrup to add a bit of tangy sweetness.I'd love to come back and try some of their sandwiches or an entree in the future. Thanks for the food!“
“Really good! I had the chicken shawarma platter and the chicken was perfectly flavored but it was a bit overcooked and dry. It was right before closing so I won't hold it against them. The rice was really flavorful and fluffy. The salad was delicious. would return again!“
“I've had Laffa Shawarma and Laffa chicken.Tastes good, good portion and fairly priced.Very few selections of add-ons to your meal, the place itself is as basic as it gets, but clean. Will occasionally return since there are no other options for Israeli Shawarma in the area.“
“Been eating At this lovely restaurant for years.. it’s about time to give them the review they deserve.. absolutely amazing and highly recommended to anyone who’s into authentic Mediterranean food.Shout out to Rayan and his brother for incredible services.“
“OMG, everything I’ve had here is amazing! The staff is lovely and friendly also. Can’t say enough good things, just go and get some mouth watering food. I go there once every few weeks because, I never want to get tired of it. Great choice for vegans and vegetarians also.Vegetarian options: Best moist falafels, humus, baba ghanoush. cauliflower is amazing, salads“
“The best of the best. Everything on the menu is fantastic, but I’ve never been able to find a comparable chicken koobideh (ground chicken kebab.) It’s juicy, spiced beautifully, and absolutely delicious. My wife and I make an hour and fifteen minute drive whenever we can to partake, and you better believe we place an extra order to go for lunch the next day. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some delectable Persian cuisine!“
“Stop by Thursday night for the first time after work. I was very surprised and impressed from the moment I arrived. Very upscale and elegant place with alot of attention to detail, with a very warm relaxed feeling and a very inviting cozy mood ambience. The service and food was phenomenal and Jorge, the bartender/manager was great, also enhanced my experience, he's very detailed may me and my friend feel very special.I felt like, i was actually in Dubai. If you're looking to escape the stress from the day and week and have great night. I highly recommend Little Dubai It's a five star winner ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The best kept secret in North Jersey N.Y. metropolitan area.“
“Delicious- fresh- reasonable! We will be back. Just be aware… if you are gluten free, the rice has semolina and the fries are coated with wheat. Ask a lot of Q’s about GF options!Such a sweet place.Vegetarian options: Choices galore! Fresh!Parking: Easy!!!“
“I wanted to try the iraqi food so bad and I heard about this place and it was definitely worth the visit! their traditional Iraqi cuisine is absolutely mouthwatering!? From the kebabs to the eggplant salad , every bite is a taste of authenticity. The warm and the welcoming atmosphere adds to the overall experience. You should definitely give it a try!“
“FINALY after Covid we took some friends to our favored middle eastern restaurant this past Saturday . As usual we were greeted by our first names as we had not been there for three years! we had the combo maza which was great. The muhammara was just right. Our friends had the lamb shish kebab and the shawarma combo. Both plates were huge with two skewers of meet in each! According to them it was the best they ever had. For a change I had the kibbeh in a tray meal with yogurt which brought back memories of childhood when my mother made it. I can't say enough about the quality of the food. The service is the friendliest you will ever experience“
“Hidden gem...Hole in the wall. The Iraqi Kababs are mind blowing and the Dolma are a must try for vegetarians. The smoked yogurt drink washes it down perfectly but it might be an acquired taste for some. The eggplant salad is extremely flavorful and a great way to start the meal. For those looking to try something different I highly suggest AlMazaq!“
“Incredible & welcoming customer service. Delicious food. Huge portions at affordable prices. The owner Shlomo goes out of his way to ensure everyone is taken care of.We drive over an hour at least twice a month just cause we enjoy our food experience.Highly recommend!“
