The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful, and honestly, I wanted to move in. 😂 You can tell everyone who works there puts so much love and hard work into everything they make. The cakes are actual works of art—I almost felt guilty cutting into mine… almost. 😅 They looked incredible and somehow tasted even better. The staff was so friendly and welcoming that it felt like they genuinely wanted you there, which is rare these days. “I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

i was biking along when heavens opens. searching for the nearest interior my clunky bike and i stumbled our way into this blue sanctuary. we were graciously welcomed in and patiently waited. Baristas were friendly but not overbearing and kind to each customer that followed after me.

The interior is endearing. The couch is super comfortable and the book selection is great! I had forgotten a book at home so i was especially grateful for this. I especially love that there is a book nook for a child too!

“I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. I drove twice in 2 days to grab cupcakes and cookies… I cannot say what’s my favourite out of the cupcake, the brownies, the cookies etc because everything was decadent and not too sweet. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!
