“Heard about this place just about a year ago! Went there one other time last year and fell in love with their ham! Went there today and it's just as good! I had the Ham Classic sandwich! OMG!!! This ham is so tasty! You can get it with Swiss or Cheddar cheese, I chose Swiss. Lettuce, tomato, Mayo and their honey mustard Dijon sauce! This is DA BOMB!!! The honey mustard Dijon compliments it so much! Fresh croissant it's on! Just mouth watering good! Love this place and I'm sure you will too! “Delicious food. Great service by Sydney! It started with amazing honey bread at the table. Flatbreads yum, especially the one with fig topping. Muscles, tuna tartare, noodle flush, brussel sprouts, calamari salad, and more! All yum! Would absolutely go there again. We had 8-10 people and the service was excellent.“

“I eat here every week with a big group and the food is always delicious. I like to order the chili nachos, and it's perfect for sharing. They are also very accommodating with allergies and have promptly answered questions about allergy content. The servers are very friendly and it's always very lively. Even outside of my group I like to take friends here. Parking is a bit tricky but it's worth it even if you have to park on the side of the road. Highly recommend!“

“I walked into IHOP expecting a normal breakfast, but I was NOT prepared for Bernard.

Bernard wasn’t just my server. He was a legend.

I ordered pancakes, and when they arrived, the restaurant fell silent. The pancakes were perfect. But then—DISASTER.

THE SYRUP WAS EMPTY.

I looked at Bernard. Bernard looked at me.

Without saying a word, he marched toward the syrup station like a warrior entering battle. Moments later, he returned with a fresh bottle.

The crisis was over.

As I finished my meal, I realized the truth: Bernard wasn’t an ordinary server.

He was the Guardian of IHOP.

With an assorted buffet menu and a live band, our members had a memorable evening in the private room of Tavern 73. When I first arrived, there were a few things that needed attention, but Maurice, the property manager, responded almost immediately and had everything taken care of within about 12 hours. His responsiveness, professionalism, and genuine commitment to making sure I had a good stay really stood out.
From that point on, the rest of my month was excellent. The apartment met my needs, and it was reassuring to know that management was so attentive and easy to work with. I really appreciate Maurice’s effort and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Newark.“

“Listen!!!!!!! I’m one of the biggest critics when it comes to food, and I’m usually the first person to jump online and give a bad review when something isn’t right. HOWEVER… D&J Country Cooking is absolutely AMAZING. 💯 I was a little disappointed that they don’t offer dine-in, because I would’ve loved to enjoy my food hot at a table. Instead, I ended up eating it in my car. But let me tell you — it was still worth it. I ordered the fish, yams, and mac & cheese… and it was incredible. Everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted like real home cooking. When I walked in, I was welcomed by a very kind elderly woman who greeted me with eye contact, a warm attitude, and great recommendations. She was sweet, helpful, and really made me feel comfortable about trying the food. It was a true example of Southern hospitality. I’m giving this spot 9 stars. It would’ve been a full 10 if they had dine-in seating, because the food is so good it deserves to be enjoyed fresh at a table. Hopefully they consider adding a sit-down option in the future because it would really take the experience to another level. I’ll definitely be back. I’ve got to try the neckbones on Wednesday or Thursday next time. Great spot!!!!!“
