“Been a while since we went to Axton’s, but my wife and I will be celebrating 30 years this week, we thought we’d start with a fine dinner WTH Chef Anton. Early on a Sunday during the summer was far from their busy time, so we had a chance to chat. For starters, we shared an apple mango salad. Shame on me for not reading the menu. The dressing is apple mango. Home made! I was looking for mango in the salad. Apple, craisins, two kinds of cheese…. Perfect for a hot July day. My wife ordered the shrimp marinara over spinach instead of pasta. Delicious and even more impressive was that the shrimp had their tails removed. A great touch. The piece de resistance was my scallop special. Scallops topped with Crabcake coating topped with bacon. Served over a bed of spinach with cherry tomatoes and more. My wife called it spectacular. I thought it was a taste of heaven. Couldn’t figure out one taste in the sauce. Originally thought mango, but there was none in the salad. Had to ask if it was peach? Mango was the winner. The dish was a bigger winner!“

“From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us like old friends and walked us right to our table — I instantly had a good feeling, and I was right. Our server was awesome — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and was on top of everything all night.

The menu is classic Italian but with a twist — way more interesting than your standard North Jersey Italian spot. The ossobuco was fantastic (if I had to nitpick, I’d say the risotto could’ve used a touch less water and a heavier hand with the parm). The clams were fresh and baked to perfection, and my son devoured his ravioli. For dessert, the bread pudding was absolutely unreal — honestly worth the trip alone.

“5 stars!! We had the most amazing lunch at this hidden gem in Warwick. The ambiance was perfect; It is in a beautiful building with old wide plank floors, comfortable, cozy seating. Everything was clean including the bathrooms. They cut the prosciutto right in front of us (and it was so fresh). The little neck clams, homemade lobster ravioli, the lasagna, the fresh bread (just out of the oven), organic wild caught salmon, bronzini, etc....every meal was a delight and the service was the best I have had in years. “We went to Travato’s Due last night for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! The food and service were top notch. My husband got the Filet Mignon Angry Joe and said it was hands down the best steak he’s ever had out. (He is hard to impress lol). I had the grilled salmon pesto and it was perfect. We also tried the shrimp beep and finished with tiramisu—both delicious!“

“They are a great company to work with and I love the awning. We ended up needing an awning that extended out 13' as we we recently installed a new deck that gets a lot of sun. I found a bunch of awnings that extended out 10', but the longer awnings were harder to come by. I found some, but I was not confident. I ended searching the internet, found Alutex, they came by and we ironed out exactly what I needed. The awning is a roof mounted 20' x 13'. The awning makes the deck such a nicer space now as when we have people over in the summer the sun won't beat down on us. You'll be happy with this company as they care about their customers and product.“

“I stopped into Danny's Pizza early in the day, shortly after they opened. I saw a sign outside that said they were voted #1 best pizza which I'm usually skeptical about. After having a slice though, I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza had a thin, crispy base with an incredibly flavorful sauce. The sauce to cheese ratio was spot on and the cheese was perfectly fresh and melted to perfection. Even the crust was bready and delicious. I'm definitely a fan.“

“If you want a slice of pepperoni, they take a plain slice, apply pepperoni pieces on top, then heat it until the pepperoni is melted into the cheese. Definitely one of the outstanding slices in the area. Nice, old fashioned Baker's Pride oven, too. Not many of them left.

Parking: A difficult left turn off 511, particularly during lunchtime, but there seems to be enough parking , just.“

“We have ordered from Frank's numerous times with no issues. Tonight, driver arrived with 2 items missing and instead of leaving the items he had, took them with him....cold when he returned. Must have thought he was an Indy car driver on the way back because all the sauce for the mussels was gone, box was saturated. When questioned, he checked and said Ooops, sorry, and left. Called and spoke with the Manager who seemed less than Customer Service concerned although did offer another order of mussels. Unfortunately, with the fear of sabotage on the replacement due to complaining, we declined. Should have offered some kind of refund. As a Client Svc Mgr this is an unacceptable response to a dissatisfied client. We will not be ordering from Frank's again. I guess they have enough clients to not care about EVERY client. Shame!“

I would say their garlic knots could use a bit more oil on them but that’s just me being picky 😄 highly recommend! Hands down best pizza in the area.“
