Flavor was very authentic Middle Eastern in both the shawarma and pickles. I also had their fattoush which was very good. 2 people can easily be served from both the shawarma and fattoush! “I wish I could give Sihana Bistro more than five stars. We hosted a surprise 40th birthday party for my brother and the party exceeded all of my expectations. My first call with the fantastic owner, David, was seamless. David is incredibly nice and so easy to work with. He catered to our every need, was responsive throughout the planning stage, and was present during our entire event.

Venue: This restaurant is beautiful. You feel good as soon as you walk in. It’s bright and spotless. The ceilings are high and the attention to detail in the design and decor is obvious. There was more than enough room for our all of guests and the layout - private room + bar area - was perfect.

Staff: The staff is SO KIND. The service was impeccable and they are hands down the best team I’ve worked with. They helped us move furniture, kept the food coming at just the right pace, served drinks quickly, accommodated all requests through the night, and let us stay after the restaurant closed because we were having such a good time.

Foods: One word: Excellent. The food was DELICIOUS and there was so much of it. We served a true buffet dinner and had leftovers after feeding all of our guests! The mushrooms were a hit!

Location: The location is great and close to literally everything downtown. The restaurant was easy for our guests to get to and there are so many places to go nearby after an event. The Rutgers campus nearby is also spectacular to see when you visit.

“The most amazing and delicious Turkish Breakfast I ever had. Not only in New Jersey area. I’ve tried lots of places in the Tri-State area and it’s definitely 5 Stars. Everything is homemade. There’s a lot of food when you order Turkish Breakfast. The cheese on the platter is very rich. Definitely try the Turkish eggy toast. It’s absolutely so yummy. It’s only on Sundays 10:00am-2:00pm. The atmosphere is fantastic. Especially for any kind of showers or parties. I’ve found out they have 2 more locations in Cliffside Park,NJ & Livingston,NJ as well. The owner is super nice and he welcomes and is so polite to customers. The prices are very reasonable. They have a huge parking lot. Handicapped customers are welcome to restrooms and parking lot.“

“My favorite Cava location to date. Every time I’m craving something fresh and filling, I know I can count on them. The bowls are SO customizable, and I love that I can choose exactly what I’m in the mood for. Their ingredients are always super fresh, and I can tell they put a lot of care into their food. I’m kind of addicted to their Grilled steak! The staff is always so friendly and they make the whole experience feel welcoming. I seriously can’t get enough of this place. “The interior design is absolutely stunning! Very modern and chic. There are a decent amount of options to choose from the menu. Mocktail presentations are so cool and pretty, and the food portions are pretty good. Appetizers and main dishes are delicious! This place has very nice seating areas and cute spots to take pictures. Only note I have is the waiting time to order and receive the food. However, this was such a cool experience for a bachelorette dinner celebration, I do recommend this place.“

“New to town. Checking out falafel in the area. Came upon The falafel guy on my walk home from YMCA. A small mostly take out joint with Mousa, the master, running the show. Don’t expect the fastest service because everything is made to order. Falafel was top notch. While you’re waiting, don’t be surprised if Mousa offers you a small cup of the soup he’s cooking for the day. His lentil soup was spiced just right and delicious. Prices are reasonable as well!“

They only accept cash and Venmo however, so if you don’t know that prior to arriving- it could be a little turn off. However, there is a local shop with an atm nearby where you can withdraw cash from!!!! I do not recommend leaving only because you don’t have cash, because the food is AMAZING!!!!!! You can eat outside, they have a few tables and chairs!!! I usually go there for take-out!“

From the wait staff to the kitchen staff to management, everyone was incredibly friendly, unbelievably accommodating when it came to food allergies (they came out to talk about everything in specific detail to make sure it was safe before it was cooked and served), and the food was absolutely delicious!! I would absolutely recommend trying Marakesh out if you haven't been. They will be more than happy to go over the menu and explain anything you might not recognize or need changed because of restrictions. You can also call ahead so it can be prepped ahead of time for you. I will definitely be back again!!“

“After a tasty round of appetizers including tangy baked Fava beans, creamy smooth hummus, baba ghanoush and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside falafel, we feasted on two lamb dishes, one of which was perfectly grilled, and an order of couscous with vegetables. I still remember today how great everything tasted. Service was friendly and efficient and the decor included lamps and accessories imported from Morocco. Portions were generous and they provide containers for the leftovers. You can only eat so much! Highly recommended.“
