“Such a warm and lovely first experience here! I’ve always loved healthy bowls, and after hearing how dog-friendly this spot is, I was so excited to finally visit.

From the moment we walked in, my husband and I were kindly greeted by MaryAnn and Reggie (who we learned were the owners!), which made us feel instantly welcome.

I ordered The Summit Bowl and my husband had The Power Bowl—both were so fresh, light, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. I especially loved being able to choose my milk, and my husband appreciated the added protein in his bowl.

Even our dog loved her peanut butter sample!

The space itself is clean, colorful, and has such a cozy, inviting feel. We’ll absolutely be back!“

“When my son came down with a high temp, awful sore throat, and queasy stomach, I remembered hearing about the congee at Fresh Bui. So I called on my way home from work and placed an order to pick up for him - without issue. On arrival, I realized that the shop had already closed, but the owner was inside waiting for me to pick up. So kind!! I thanked her and told her I was bringing the porridge to my sick son, and she insisted on making him a special herbal tea remedy. She was so wonderful, and the combo of the congee and tea definitely put my son on the road to recovery! I have also enjoyed their teas and smoothies from time to time, but this was an "above and beyond" experience. So thankful to have Fresh Bui right here in town!“

“Felix is the man and the smoothie and smoothie bowls are always a delicious and healthy bang for your buck, but having had the Spicy Squash and Chicken Noodle Soup, I can safely say this is my favorite spot to grab something tasty and healthy and worth the money, the soup is sooooooo good. I walked it while he was prepping another batch of the squash soup. And it smelled soooooooo oooo o good. The picture of my soup doesn’t do it justice as I’ve eaten the chicken out of it and now I’m sipping on the broth which has the slightest kick to it. I’m obsessed. I encourage everyone to support this place and get something delicious while you are at it!!!!!!“

“A great new addition to the Livingston Circle. Everything that I have tried off the menu was fantastic. Especially the quesadillas, fries and the dessert options. They even have a mobile app for ordering and rewards. Highly recommended if you love great Mexican food.“

“Had a really great experience at this sushi spot! The sushi and sashimi were very fresh and absolutely delicious — you can really taste the quality.

It’s a nice little café with a cozy atmosphere, and the staff is very polite and friendly, which makes the whole experience even better.

The beef bento box was very good — flavorful, well-prepared, and satisfying. The presentation was also beautiful; even the service plates were very nice and thoughtfully arranged.

Definitely a lovely place for fresh sushi and a relaxed dining experience. Would happily come back!“

“Madison is such a great person I love this place I have been going here for almost 2 years now and every experience is great a one I told Madison I needed to lose 15 pounds and within 2 weeks I lost the weight she suggested the detox cleanse and boy did it make me better than ever great place great employee wonderful drinks“

“The place was empty for 1230pm on a Monday. Maybe because it was raining. Service and food was great! I never had any problems with the food at any Playa bowls. It's always consistent! Tons of flavor and crunch! I ordered the Nica bowl this time to try something different. It tasted great! Still, my favorite is the coco power bowl. Parking is a bit of a pain. You are in downtown Summit.“

“Our bowls were nicely frozen and creamy (not watery) and were well made and delicious. The space was spotless, so clean, even the bathroom. I can tell the conscientiousness of the employees by how clean the place was, how polite they were and how well the bowls tasted and were made. This was the best experience of all the playa bowls I've been to, and I've been to a lot of different locations.“

“Highly recommend their menu. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot with great, healthy food this is it. Our favorite items are the avocado egg rolls & tacos. Smoothies are awesome too, there’s one with coffee in it and that’s a fave as well.“

“Lifehack - although you need a membership to use the facilities inside the YMCA, anyone can come in and get their snack fix (workout optional).

Its a small cafe, but offers enough essentials. They sell pizzas, empandas, burgers, fries... as well healthy juice bar and variety drink options.

But their main feature is the acai bowls - acai, pitahaya or coconut base options. There's a handful of pre-built choices (loaded with fruits, granola, nutella or peanut butter) or create your own. Quick and efficient and beautifully prepared... our Berrytella and Dragon Kiwi bowls came out fresh and delicious.

Will definitely be back, and might even convince me to actually use the gym.“

“Delicious bowl and friendly staff.

Only thing is I placed an order online since I don't really like having to tell people orders such as my customized acai bowl [wasn't even complex though, just wasn't in the mood to verbally order it]. They claimed 15 minutes on the website and I understood. I went in a couple minutes later expecting to wait patiently but saw them making it right away, so I was happy. But then they stopped making it and had to take walk in orders. No biggie of course. Until all the walk ins got their bowls way before I did. I placed my order 10 minutes before the walk-ins did and mine wasn't even as complex or complicated. It definitely annoyed me a bit.

Only making this review to let people know you will have to wait 15-25 minutes when placing an online order, especially if they get many walk ins. In the future I will just make my order in my notes and walk in and say it to them next time.

Again, my bowl was delicious and the staff were friendly so I didn't even complain. Just letting the general public know what I learned. 👍“

“Was my 1st time visiting having been introduced by my mom and brother. Inside was clean, bright and full of informative signs about ingredients etc.

I had a coco craze bowl and though the honey wasn't needed it was still great. Bowl had fresh fruits and i loved the texture of the granola when combined.“
