I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I was looking for a special place to take my family out for dinner because it was my oldest son's birthday. I also read the history of this beautiful place, Father a Son team and it sounded like something down our alley and my son would really love to experience. Oh my goodness! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and welcoming attitude. We were seated in the best spot, and they even brought out a high chair for my grandson. We try to put him in high chairs but he just doesn't like them. This little guy wants to be a big boy already😂❤️ Our waiter, Ali I believe that was his name, was absolutely the best! He was so approachable, funny, and well mannered with all of us. He even joked around with my grandson, which made the experience even more special. Thank u! Everything we had was delicious! From the warm bread with olives and olive oil to the appetizers, to our main dishes and oh my goodness, those drinks🍹 They were to die for! Now that's what I call, “Call me an Uber!” 😂 They definitely were not stingy with the alcohol, and those drinks were so good! 😉 They even brought out a little dessert for my son to celebrate his birthday, and it was so, so good and absolutely delicious! 🎂❤️ I rate this restaurant 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. “This place I just saw on the Map with 5 Stars so I went to see for my self, they have freezes full of different types of ready to go Ice cream, Cones, cups and sandwiches. But I asked for a banana split which it was delicious. They can scoop different flavors or they have the soft ice-cream machine as well. The Lady was very friendly and nice. She looked like she enjoyed decorating the desert. I will go back again and they deserve 10 Stars.“

I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I came with a 2 year old, she needed a diaper change, they told me the restrooms were closed to customers and only for staff. I got my little girl her ice cream and a guy who appeared to be a manager told us to get out because they dont allow indoor seating. it's a shame because the ice cream is great and it's a great location“

“Capy Tres Leche Cake is seriously one of the best tres leches cakes I’ve had. The cake is soft and perfectly soaked, so it’s really moist without feeling too heavy. The sweetness is just right, and the creamy milk flavor really stands out in a good way. You can tell a lot of time and effort goes into making each cake.

It also looks great when it’s served, which makes it perfect for parties or special occasions. Everyone who tries it always seems to enjoy it. “Visit the bakery yesterday, and it was worth every dollar I spend. The Pecan cream ring tasted just how I remembered when I was a kid. I also bought one double chocolate cookie, which was amazing!! I wish I bough more. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grew up in pal park, and the bakery was always the go to spot for our desserts. Keep it going and no slacking on the deliciousness. “For many years I had Valencia cake in practically every party my parents took me. And of course, my birthday. I had not had Valencia cake in a very long time. But for my 75th Birthday I wanted Valencia. My husband and I travel to the store on Burnside Ave. First I must say the man behind the counter was not very friendly. He sounded like we were boring him. I got a big cake, $40.00. It was not very well decorated but since it was for me, I dismissed it. The cake was super dry. Very little cream in the middle. I wanted pineapple but he did not have it in the size I wanted. The cake tasted like nothing I remember. It had no flavor!! What happened to that delicious, moist, flavorful cake I remember!!! SO SAD!!“

“Although the presentation only looks good from one angle (bald spot in the back etc. SMH) the cake taste delicious not too sweet just right the blue frosting had everyone’s lips blue tho it didn’t taste like dye the guava filling was on point we truly enjoyed it. The total for the cake was $80 and it was ready on the date and time I requested. Would recommend just don’t get any pictures on your cake they need to get their skills up. The passion fruit dessert is a go as well.“
