My family normally doesn’t like eating out very often, but we eat at Gao Kitchen at least twice a month, and we get takeout even more than that. “I found this restaurant randomly while running errands, I've lived in the Bronx for 8 years now and this is by far the best pad thai I've had in all of New York. The pad thai was so flavorful and I got the beef with it. I also ordered a passion fruit iced tea and it was the perfect refreshment in this 100 degree weather. I've been seeing the mango sticky rice on TikTok recently and I was happy to see on the menu they also had Mango with sticky rice, which was packed with flavors as well. Will definitely be ordering from here more frequently.“

“An Asian mall food joint with an interesting Thai twist. In reality, I don't think the food is very Thai - the offerings are pretty similar to Chinese food, like Panda Express. Their specialty is the Mango Chicken, which I love and is a much sweeter version of the Orange Chicken. I know it probably has more sugar than I need for a week but it tastes so darn good. The Pad Thai is passable but nowhere near the quality of legit Thai restaurants; I prefer the fried rice instead. They will give you a lot of food - much more than Panda Express. As long as you're not expecting anything more than good mall food, this is a great option at the Garden State Plaza Food Court.“
