“Local neighbors have been recommending the Blue Water Grille for some time now, so I decided to give them a try tonight for dinner. Upon walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by a pleasant hostess and brought to our table.

After pursuing the dinner menu as well as the Saturday Night Specials menu, both my dinner partner and I started with the bacon wrapped scallops appetizer. We were pleasantly surprised to receive 6 large scallops completely wrapped in bacon and cooked to perfection. It's hard to keep a juicy, tender scallop yet have perfectly crispy bacon.

For our dinners, we ordered the Ribs Special both with the Maryland Crab soup du jour, a baked potato, grilled asparagus for him and brandy carrots for me. These were some of the best ribs I've had outside of a BBQ restaurant. I could not believe how large the portions were despite the price of $20.

“We stayed here from Aug 30-Sept 1 2024. Absolutely an amazing stay. I would say this hotel is not one you stay in if you’re there for a whole week and expect to live in your room but for us it was everything we needed at a fantastic price. The room was clean, comfortable, updated and all around great. The staff, let me tell You how wonderful they are, we needed to check in later they said “okay we got it” no issues, our room was cleaned and refreshed within an hour of us being out the door and back from the store. We asked for a later check out and they had no issue giving us an extra hour. They were beyond accommodating when we needed assistance the day we checked out and even offered to let us use the accommodations they provide for guests. We will be coming back and staying here again.“

We love to go there to see a band called Jump The Line! Fantastic band, welcoming staff, and friendly people. Villas Fishing Club is a most excellent place for beautiful sunsets, as it is right on the bay.“

“I took my family here for lunch on Saturday. Your manager is the sweetest lady I’ve ever met. She was so hopeful, pointing out new menu items. I think her name is Ester? “I have used Lucky Bones’s Eric three times in the last five years for catering parties at my home/in my yard. Twice I also booked waitresses with my party. The food is always delicious, the service reliable. We ran out of chicken tenders for the kids once and they brought over a new batch! Everything is set up as ordered and arrives on time. You can’t go wrong with them for your party. My father’s small after-funeral reception was in their back room and my husband and I eat at the restaurant at least once a month. Highly recommend.“

“We visit the surfing Pig every time we are down here! Fabulous restaurant right on the bay. We have beautiful sunset pictures!
Went Friday night they were able to accommodate our party of 13 very easily. Ordered a few different starters for the table. my friend loved the raw oysters and bang shrimp. We enjoyed everything from crab cakes to grilled chicken to the Halibut special and the ribs. We all enjoyed our meals and will most definitely be back again!“

“Nice open space to spend time with family and friends. Casual. Inside and outside seating. Drinks are a little pricey (but it's Avalon) and there is a 2hr parking limit (street meters). We had finger food and drinks and had a great time sitting at the humongous and beautiful bar.“

“From out of town and we had 16 people in to eat. Food came out timely, drinks were made quickly and everything was delicious. Alaina and Jules went out of their way on a Friday night to help me locate a receipt (remotely) so I could turn it in for reimbursement. Above and beyond on the service!“

“The Water Star Grille is the outdoor restaurant on the bay at the Reeds in stone Harbor. The food is expensive, but that comes with the territory. Our server was very pleasant and the quality of all the food we ordered was great. I was disappointed that you only get 6 oyster half shells for $28.....but I should have asked about quantity before ordering. I am pretty sure that I have never only received 6 oysters when ordering an iced tray of oysters before. The reason to go here for dinner is the view of the sunset over the bay for dinner outside on a beautiful summer day.“

“I have been going to stone harbor pizza for years. When the Reeds took over, the pizza got considerably worse, but I was pleasantly surprised this year when they must have changed a recipe and everything tasted amazing. The restaurant has a wonderful view from the outside and the service was fantastic.“

“The North End is my go to restaurant on and off island. Great place to bring the little ones as well. The food is great and reasonably priced. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Live entertainment unlike some of the nearby places isn't so loud that you can't have a conversation or hear yourself think. The bartenders are also very friendly and go out of their way to make sure my wife gets the best chocolate martinis anywhere.“
