“My wife and I went here a few months back. Food was incredibly good, chicken marsala was up there my top Joe's Italiano's Maplewood (best) but they are extremely high in quality. My wife had the Lentil soup and took home the Broccoli Rabe which were very, very good. She and I both really enjoyed the food here.“

“We held an 80th birthday party at Verona. The service was top notch and owners beyond accommodating. The guests said they want to come back! The clams casino is my favorite. The outdoor seating is great.“

“Took The family and a friend to dinner the day after Christmas. Incredible service, ambience and delicious food! We had ordered The Italian hoagie Rotolo, and the house made mozzarella wedges For starters. The Rotolo is a such an innovative play on the Italian hoagie, and the mozzarella wedges were incredible-sauce was delicious. The kids had a really great looking cheese pizza and I ended up having the Wildfeather Paccheri ala Vodka dish… Wow- this dish was so wonderful… Mildly spicy but super creamy and the ribbons of cupped pepperoni in it was off the charts! “Lots of Italian restaurants in South Jersey, but Allora stands out. The fact that it is combined with Nene has taken it to another level with the ability to order woodfired pizzas and have a really bright open beautiful dining experience. First you are given bread that comes out of that wood fire oven, some with tomato sauce on them and served with their homemade basil aïoli. We have tried multiple appetizers over the years and all of them are delicious, we try our hardest not to order them and save room for dessert, but that always fails because the appetizers are so delicious. Don’t miss the Caesar salad and the portion is absolutely large enough for two people. If you were getting Parmesan style anything, it is delicious here because the way they fry the items keeps them extremely crispy and not greasy and their tomato sauce is second to none in all of New Jersey. Seafood is very good here, they have a great tuna dish, and I am a sucker for their spicy shrimp and crab. When we do save room for dessert, their choices are always very interesting and over the years more have turned to being homemade so don’t miss the lemon cake and tiramisu. I can go on and on about the food, but then I wouldn’t have room to mention their friendly and tenured staff and owner that are always welcoming and have a passion for what they do. Their location in Marlton on Main Street also has a very nice private room for events.“

“I have been very pleased with this restaurant in Mays Landing, saw this was in Moorestown while in the area, and stopped in for lunch. It wasn’t easy to find with GPS. It’s closer to Boscov’s, but GOS had me on the other end of the mall. The salad is really special , fresh and delish. I had sandwich like a cheesesteak with eggplant in it. I really like the idea of that better than the actual sandwich but it was good - not greats. I would come back to try some other options on the menu.“
