We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. But I'd def come back and get a cup with a smaller portion of the cone.“

“We live about an hour away and travel to Harlem every month or so just to eat at dino bbq! The food is always exceptional and the service is great, Maria is our favorite waitress but everyone is very nice. We always go for lunch because it's less busy, otherwise there's always a crowd, especially at night, you could be waiting well over an hour so be sure to make a reservation.“

“I went here with my friends on a Friday night around 10, and there was no line, so ordering was very quick, and the worker had prepped most items, so you received your order immediately, and she was very nice. I had the Tequila Sunrise. It was $18 and was very good as far as sorbet goes. There wasn't much liquor to it. You could taste the white wine in the strawberry sorbet a bit, but the mango just tasted like standard mango sorbet. My friends had a scoop of the hazlenut coffee flavor, and it was very good, but not much liquor flavor either. If you're a big liquor person, you might be a bit underwhelmed. Nonetheless, for the amount of sorbet/ice cream you get in the cup, along with the toppings it comes with and the glass, the $18 is fair, in my opinion and I would go back to try other flavors/creations.“

“It’s casual but polished casual.$5.25/ Freddo Cappuccino. It was very good. This was the item I was most impressed with at Pi Bakerie, over and above the pastries and baked dishes. If I come back to Pi Bakerie it will be specifically for the Freddo Cappuccino. I could envision myself deliberately making a detour via SoHo for this Freddo Cappuccino. Which is pretty cool that means they have a “destination item” on their menu.I’d be curious to compare with Café Lyria who also make reportedly excellent Greek Freddo Cappuccino (this is like the Italian Schakerato).Also curious to try their Peinirli (“cheese boat”). The owner is very friendly and kind as well. I picked up the chocolates on a rainy day, and he put the chocolates in two bags and put tape over them so that they don't get ruined by the rain. That was really nice of him to consider and do!“

From the moment we pulled up when the valet took our car, it set the right tone for the evening. We were greeted by several staff members who offered various welcoming drinks and then we were ushered into a giant room for an elaborate cocktail hour. The food was out of this world. There were so many stations: sushi, charcuterie, Asian, Mexican, paella, seafood, meat carving, I can't even remember them all, plus, there was a galore of passed appetizers. There were two bars setup on each end of the room, so you never had to wait long for a drink. The staff members were always on hand to clear your plates, and making sure you did not need anything. Then, a ceremony and the party began in its earnest! The dinner was family-style appetizers and then an entree for each person and for dessert, besides the cake, there was a huge Viennese table and stations. I have never seen such variety and we are really spoiled by amazing banquet menus at the Russian restaurants. This was above and beyond. The service throughout the entire dinner was lovely. Bringing us drinks, keeping an eye on things running smoothly. This was surely an affair to remember, and The Grove has done right by our friends who worked very hard to make this wedding a celebration of love and family.“

We did a "themed menu" and the chicken, fish, and vegetables were all delicious. So often the vegetable dishes and sides are afterthoughts but the beans and potatoes were scrumptious and perfectly cooked. I appreciated that they brought cards that identified the food items and indicated if the food was vegan, gluten free, etc. (most caterers haven't done that in my experience). The staff who dropped off the food were prompt and friendly. And Kelly, rep from the catering team who assisted me with the order, was helpful and responsive. The slices are massive (take-up-an-entire-plate HUGE), the sauce is zippy and flavourful, and the pepperoni is to die for. I would personally recommend a slice of the pepperoni and bacon, or the Sicilian deep dish. The workers are all very nice and service was quick and efficient. They also have a nice selection of cold drinks to get with your pizza. The joint was right across the street from our hotel so it was very convenient for us to grab a couple slices whenever we wanted. The best bonus is that the place is open late, which meant that we were able to get pizza at about 12:30 at night after catching Billy Joel at MSG. Overall, this is a fantastic pizza place and I would highly recommend it.“

“What’s the Kitch? Catered my husband’s 75th birthday party for 24 people in our apartment in Manhattan. From my initial contact right through til the end of the party, I knew this was the caterer for us. Jeffrey and his assistant were extremely professional. I loved his “if you want it, we can make it happen” approach. We had a wonderful selection of light bites that were all outstanding. They were prepared and served (and cleaned up!) right at home, making it a very intimate and fun evening. We were so impressed that we have already booked him for our holiday party in December. We enjoyed our avocado rolls and dumplings on the patio. It is a very limited menu for food and drinks. Do yourself a favor and get the Chicken 65 — be warned, it is a (spicy) explosion of flavor on your tastebuds.
