Lots of good frozen selections and lots of spices, herbs, legumes, lentils, sauces in jars and spice packets. We made butter chicken for dinner from a spice packet and it was easy and wonderful 20 min meal. Served with naan and samosas for dinner Their prepared foods were not open yet but it clearly has peaked my interest. Will definitely return often. I wish them well!“

“Absolutely incredible experience at Taste of Punjab. I’m a vegetarian and somehow ended up trying the lamb kabobs — and WOW. They were insanely good. Beyond the food, the service was exceptional: genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming. Phenomenal food, outstanding service, wonderful company, and an atmosphere that made the entire experience memorable from start to finish.

You can dine in, grab takeout, and the fact that they’re open until 2 AM makes this place an absolute gem. Taste of Punjab is officially going into the rotation. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“We had booked Veda for our daughter's wedding welcome dinner on 5/3/24. The whole process from the time we contacted them till we had our function was smooth. They were very accommodating to our requirements and went beyond our expectations. If you are looking to have a large gathering I will definitely recommend doing a buyout. We decided on the menu and then we were guests at our own dinner. It is full service. The ambience was good and our guests enjoyed both the food and their awesome selection of cocktails. Gaurav Bhardwaj and Brazil provided excellent service. Did I mention Food? Very Good and Flavorful. We are from Delhi and big foodies, and I must tell you that they superseded our expectations. The décor is very pleasant and we didn't need to do anything additional They provided us two stations for our henna ladies. Our function was a big hit. Check them out for your next baby shower, engagement, birthday function!!!!!“

“Some of the best Indian food in the world (outside of India) is located in the United Kingdom and in this Kingsessing restaurant. Usually, Indian food found in the US tends to be served in a very thick, heavy sauce. This place took me back to the UK joints I loved in 2019 and 2024. The chicken curry sauce was a perfect blend of spices and broth which meshed nicely with the basmati rice and naan. This is my first time eating their food but will certainly not be my last. EXCELLENT JOB!!

“Today, July 4, was my first time dining in at Ekta. My older parents and I were looking for a place to eat (and having a tough time finding one!); finally we saw that Ekta was open, though we then discovered that it was due to close in 40 minutes. I am deeply grateful to our server, Owen, for never making us feel like we were inconveniencing the staff by arriving so close to closing, and for going out of his way to help my mom (who has limited mobility) to navigate the steps both when we arrived and when we left. He situated us at a table just next to the door, which was even more helpful. As for the food itself, my dad was delighted with his garlic kabob, and I really enjoyed the Chandrakala (first time I'd ever encountered these dried-fruit-and-coconut dumplings) and our bread selections (Lachha Paratha and Ekta Naan, the latter kind of an adaptation of the Peshawari Naan concept but with black sesame seeds included). My mom and I both guzzled our delicious lassis (mango and pomegranate). Though toned down at our request, the Alu Gobi was still a bit spicy for me, but tasty nonetheless.“

“My mom and I came in here for an early dinner and we were blown away. There was no one in there except for us, but the service was phenomenal. Very kind wait staff. We ordered a chicken vindaloo and chicken Tikka masala, a side of naan, and two mango lassis. Everything was delicious. “Saffron offers excellent lunch menu deals. For $10-12, you get a lunch portion meal (Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Saag, etc.) with rice, salad, and a daily accompaniment. Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, but a little sweet for me. The Lamb Saag was also a little fatty, but very flavorful. Granted this was a takeout order during COVID. We typically prefer dining in to review a restaurant.“

“Must Try!! This was my first time ordering from here & will not be the last. Tried the Shrimp Biriyani, Paneer Tikka Masala and Dal Mahkni. All three were very flavorful and nicely balanced. Ordered mild and there was a nice tiny kick. Shrimp Biriyani was up there with my all time favorite (My aunt's shrimp biriyani). Unfortunately, they were out of all the desserts on a Sunday night. But I am excited to explore the rest of the menu. HIGHLY recommend. Will add photos next time, was too hungry this time.“

“Got a large catering order from Spicy Marsala for an event, Shiblu was very accommodating and prepared a great variety of food for the event which everyone loved! Their Samosa's in particular are excellent and their sauces for the samosas, naan and tikka marsala are amazing, looking forward to trying more items on their menu!

Their dessert naan (Peshwari Naan) is also a great finishing touch to a meal or a great late night snack“

The affordable prices also mean I can make this cart a regular addition to my takeout rotation. Note — because everything is fresh it does take some time to prepare, I would say more than your average cart. “My husband and I have been ordering delivery and takeout from Curry Leaf for a couple months now. We both agree it is the best Indian restaurant we've had the pleasure of regularly ordering from, after having other regular spots in Boston, NYC, and Philadelphia. The Hyderabadi Biryani is to die for, and the Tikka Masala is also fantastic -- ask for extra spicy! I find the goat is particularly outstanding, flavorful and always tender.

One of the things that we particularly appreciate is that they are very responsive to modification requests, like omitting cilantro.“
