“Well, this is a special place, don't you believe? Let's see.I was walking around looking for a place to eat and saw this deli , mind you that when you see a line outside a deli and customers willing wait in the cold for food , you know the food is going to be off the hook ! In line a sweet man was telling the history of the deli and how is the best town and anything I choose will definitely make me happy, another customer arrives and tells me to how much he loves it ! I knew I had found a gem that needs to be shared , because customer's are raving for it , the employees and owner sweetest guy very patient in waiting for me to decide what I wanted I even bought few things brought from Italy while I waited for My delicious 🤤 Little Nicky sandwich 🥪 which not only is so big I ate it for lunch and dinner 🍽️ is the best sandwich I've had in years ! I appreciate the stories of when it was established. I care so much for the excellent customer service and the way they run the place makes you feel like you step into a home! “We are seriously SO impressed with Essex Chinese Kitchen. The food is amazing — everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and high quality. And on top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the portions you get.

We ordered the bubble teas (brown sugar milk tea and original milk tea), and they were SO good — perfectly balanced with that floral black tea flavor coming through. Not overly sweet, just smooth and refreshing.

I got the golden fried brown shrimp with fried rice and it was FIRE. Crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and broccoli, and they absolutely do NOT skimp on portions. The serving sizes were generous and so satisfying.

The staff were also super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.

Waiter Han and Chef Lou worked so seamlessly together—it honestly elevated the entire evening. We had the seafood soup, the virgin tacos( a true hit) the burritos( tortillas de harina) the fish filete came w rice and black beans and salad natural juices and all was simply great. “They serve the best tasting Filipino food I have tasted. My husband and I compared them to 4 other Filipino restaurants. We brought my mother and father-in-law here 3/17 and they APPROVE! “When I want to go outside or I'm working and need to eat I always try to come here if there is no food at home. This place is amazing.

The food is just delicious, for all the plates I ate here never had this "okay" food it is always tasty and yummy. And the price is another plus, 10$ for a lunch meal, 1 entrance (mostlikely soup) 2nd (usually rice with either chicken or pork) and a cup of drink. (Not soda).

And even when buying other than "special lunch" it is quite heavenly.

Conclusion, it is a great place, amazing good, great service. Now, the only bad thing is the parking, if u eating in the morning I guess there is parking at papays since it is pretty close, but in the afternoon, quite dificult, since it is not recommended to park on popeyes.

The 5 Cheese Marinara sauce he recommended went so well with the bread sticks (first time having them, I get it now). He was also very attentive and quick.
