“First off, I love how hidden this place was And unsuspecting. We actually ended up here by accident trying to go to a next-door restaurant, when all the sudden we stumbled across this hidden gem. First things first, the Tonkatsu Ramen as well as the Udon Ramen were packed with and perfect texture. The tonkatsu was spicy! But good spicy not obnoxious.

We were also surprised how fresh the spicy tuna rolls were! Amazing - and we will be coming back here frequently!!! I am sold that this is the number one sushi spot in Albuquerque, which I was not anticipating to claim - But after trying Sushi from all over the world, I feel like this was the freshest and tastiest sushi I’ve had in town. Periodt. The orange desert on the house was a very thoughtful touch!!“

“I definitely recommend if you want high quality sushi for a decent price.
The conveyor belt in my opinion is a good way to try each item on the menu and from there you should order from the menu, which is cheaper.
Either way, similar price to going out to eat at an Asian buffet but with much more sushi selection. Service is pretty good!“

“This hibachi experience was absolutely amazing! Kong was our grill cook and he was phenomenal!! truly a 5-star performance from start to finish. The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, and he made the whole experience fun and memorable. Our server, Sireya, was just as wonderful! She was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed.
What meant the most to me was how welcomed my children were. They weren’t just tolerated! they were treated like family. The staff made them feel comfortable and included the entire time, which made our night even more special.
Highly recommend! We’ll definitely be coming back! 💖💖💖“

“We absolutely love Azuma's and have been coming to this specific location for years.

We prefer the sit down section to the hibachi. The atmosphere is very nice making it feel like a hole in the wall treausure you just stumbled across.

The gyoza and egg roll appetizers are always to die for. We usually opt for the chicken fried rice with extra teriyaki sauce and it is always a hit. The serving sizes are huge and it makes you feel like this place is a good value.

“Ive onlybused the drive thru. This is one of the better locations. I will actually drive to this location than the one closer in my area. The food is better cooked and the service is quicker. This is my go-to place for a quick stop thru the drive thru. Staff is always friendly, and they have a well structured system that gets you in, out, and on your way without the long wait.“

“This place is amazing. The sushi chef is an artist. His work is beautiful, and tastes great. This is by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. When I first tried them he was using purple sweet potatoes, so some of his sushi was purple. It was beautiful and tastes so good. He was also using fruit. Which was visually pleasing and also gave a unique flavor. I really wish he would continue to make sushi his way. But even if he doesn't it is still the best I have ever had. Anywhere else I have been I have had to cover my sushi in feel sauce. Not here, it is so good on it's own. All I can say is YUMM!!!.“

“IMO, the best sushi restaurant in the Albuquerque area. I have gone dozens of times and have never once been disappointed. The food is amazing, the service is beyond welcoming and friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting. The chefs put out flawless entrees and appetizers. It's worth the drive if you live on the other side of town (or even the mountains) if you want the best sushi money can buy.“

“The food is very expensive. The chicken bowls used to be around $7-ish and now they are just under $13. The teriyaki chicken bowls are good and very healthy. You can no longer sit inside (since Covid) so it’s drive-thru only which is a bummer. But, I do like to get a teriyaki chicken bowls from time to time. Just know ahead of time that the prices have almost doubled and you cannot sit inside to eat. They also no longer serve sweet and sour chicken which was so good but they haven’t had that in quite a long time.“

“Excellent sushi at the mall, it’s a fact. Sushi Roller holds its own ground amongst the dozen+ restaurants in the food court as a premiere sushi roller, in Albuquerque and beyond. I went with their Cottonwood Roll and was not disappointed. Recommend this place to anyone who is able to stop by and likes sushi.“

“The sushi roll and 25 piece sashimi were both really good. Fish tasted fresh and the sashimi pieces were generous and had nice textures. They served the sashimi platter with fresh wasabi which was a delicious surprise.

Staff was nice enough, but they really never came back to check on us or refill our water. I had to flag down another server to get more ginger. We were sitting at the sushi bar, so maybe that’s a part of it since our backs are turned.“

“It was my first time trying Oni ramen for lunch. I ordered ramen noodles and beef dumplings from special menu list. I liked sitting at the bar facing busy kitchen and listening to music. It was a first winter day in Albuquerque, gloomy and rainy, - so the cosy warmth of the restaurant with rich hot ramen broth brought comfort to my soul. I will definitely come back to try regular items on the menu“
