“Best Mexican food in the area by far“

“We went for our first time and had a great experience. I ordered the combination plate with red cheese enchilada, crispy beef taco, chile relleno and sopaipilla. My wife had the sopaipilla with egg and chorizo. Kids had pancakes, eggs, and bacon. Everything was so delicious. I even learned that everything is homemade they make homemade sopapillas corn and flour tortillas even the crispy taco shell that looks store-bought was actually homemade. I’ll definitely be coming back.“

“I was pleasantly surprised to find VERY reasonably priced, DELICIOUS, over stuffed tacos here! I come from south Texas, where we can easily find a taco for less than $4.00. I was craving Mexican food, and a friend brought me to Federico's. WOW! I'm a cheapskate and looked to see the price of a single taco. I ordered the carne asada and crispy beef taco. I believe the carbe asada was $2.75, and the beef taco was $3.25... or vice versa. Either way, the tacos came out hot, delicious, and overstuffed! They offered chili and chips in a condiment area on the counter.

The restaurant was clean. It is not a fussy place, but plenty of seating and the bathroom was very clean.

The gal taking my order was very friendly and helpful when I was asking about the portion size of the tacos.

Oh, and the sweet iced tea was FRESH and TEXAS SWEET...YUM!

“Much better since the new grand opening. Service is better and they seem to be constant with being open for normal business hours. Okay, update. Tried to call in a order while I was in the drive through. The girl that answered the phone told me she could not take my order. I asked why and she said that they were so busy they were not able to take call in orders. There was 3 cars in the parking lot,, and 3 cars in the drive through. Isn't the objective to make money by selling food to the customers? I don't know how they will last if they are turn away customers! I have been back here several times since the grand opening. They started out pretty good but suck more and more with every visit. I wish them well. I have been going to stuffys for years, I dont think I will be going back anymore. Its a shame, I used to really love the food but that has gone down hill as well.“
