“Double Eagle is a quiet elegant restaurant. The dining room is fashioned early 1900 motif with chandeliers, large mirrors and high ceilings. Our Manhattans were great. We ordered Cesar Salad, short rib plate and ribeye dinner. The Cesar salad is made at your table and was great. The short ribs were tender and tasty. The Ribeye steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The issue was that between our salad and the main meal we waited 40 minutes. We watched other tables order get their salads and dessert and pay and leave when our meal was finally brought to our table. I guess when you go to Double Eagle your server maybe be waiting on tables at the restaurant next to the Double Eagle, in our case, that is what occurred as our server chose to wait on two large parties. The server could have passed our table off to another server inside Double Eagle but chose to try to wait on the large parties and our table. Our bill was $200.00 for two diners. Management came to our table after our meal was served probably knowing that we were upset, not the time to apologize when we are trying to eat our meal.“

“The Huevos Rancheros and Chile Relleno were some of the best we’ve ever eaten! We enjoy traveling New Mexico for the unique style of flavors of Mexican food only found in this state! The red and green sauces were the authentic deep flavors and the salsa is zappy but flavorful. Our waitress, Leslie encouraged us to try the Calabacitas and tasty whole Borracho Beans? Both were beyond any we’ve eaten previously. Leslie gave us excellent service and was very friendly. The ambience is dated authentic adobe with bright colors and mural paintings. We highly recommend La Nuevo Casita Cafe!“

“Very Disappointed – While the food was decent, the experience was ruined by overhearing staff refer to me as “it” and then say, “oh my god, it’s a grandma.” Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful each time we go. Management either participates or is oblivious.“

“We stopped here on our way out of Las Cruces heading home to Denver. Small, quaint, and so welcoming. The food was amazing. The breakfast enchiladas were so good. I had mine Christmas. The red chile had a nice spice and the green was so flavorful. The cinnamon pecan coffee was very good. Also, our server, Rachel was friendly, informative, and oh so nice. We definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.“

“Yummy. Isn't amazing how one simple word can define something so perfectly. We arrived around 9am. And after being on the road for several hours was starving! The food? Oh boy was the food delicious. Hot and exactly as ordered. Out waitress was very nice (even got me a to go drink saved us a stop lol). The dining room was busy. Good sign of good food. But a bit cavernous, as it was hard to talk to each other. I did love the cute decor, even the grass on the wall. What do I mean by that ...? Well you'll just havecto go see.“

“We stopped at Los Mariachis as we were hungry and it was rated a 4! Not sure why it wasn’t a five!🤷🏼 It’s truly a five star restaurant!!!The service was fast. Yvonne was a great waitress and we were a group of 14! She didn’t write down our selections and brought us everything we asked for! No mistakes! She a pro so ask for her! I decided to try Miguel‘s out and I’ve been coming here for the last 67 months due to the excellent service and great tasting food I would recommend this place. “I went there today for the first time since moving to Las Cruces a few months ago. The food was excellent. Steak was cooked perfectly. There was a great atmosphere about the place. Clarissa was our waitress and to be honest, one of the best waitresses I've ever had. She was attentive, quick, and exchanged playful banter with the table. If you can get more employees like her, you definitely should. I'll absolutely be back. 10 out of 10.“

“We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The quesadillas taste like the ones we make at home, the nachos were filling and the tater tots were a fave of everyone’s. The veggie burger was a little dry but that did not take away from everything else. We were greeted within three minutes of sitting down, and our server was nice. The food came quickly too! The games were good. We spent about $25 hours worth of tokens in an hour.“

“Great little local restaurant! I always get the flautas, but beware they are huge, more like a burrito. First time visiting I made the mistake of thinking they were typical size and ordered 4, when 2 with the beans and rice is more than most can eat. Highly recommend.

Update: Flautas are the bomb, brisket with green chile, so good!“

“The Game is a Las Cruces icon and one of my most favorite places anywhere. In addition to being a great place to go on your own or with a friend, it easily accommodates groups and meetings. I have held a number of business & professional society meetings there, as well as casual gatherings with groups of friends. I also very much appreciate that the owner (Marci) gives generous amounts of her time, money, & leadership to help many community organizations & causes.“

so i open my food and im like oh i have 2 pounds of rice and a little container of extra spice and im like thats not enough. ok well im dying, it was actually more than enough, there are pieces of rice that dont look that spicy but i’ve chugged two waters already 😭😭😭. so yummyyy“
