“We stopped in for lunch and had a wonderful meal. You can eat inside or outside. The dinning room is small but that adds to the charm of the place. I had the Mexican Mollete which I have never had before. It was delicious. My wife had the Pozole which was excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go here again when we are in town.“

“My son and I typically go through the drive thru for burritos before work/school and it’s always quick and delicious . The couple of times I’ve dined in, it has been delicious and their prices are affordable. The huevos rancheros with green chile are my fave! Friendly atmosphere and clean!“

“A delightful and modest restaurant. The service was satisfactory, and the breakfast burrito was exceptionally delectable. I highly recommend trying their green chilies. I had my breakfast burrito "wet" with green sauce, and it was truly remarkable.“

“I was sceptical as my Mexican food taste has been honed over many years in Tucson. And I was super surprised by this wonderful Las Cruces (Mesilla) locale. Great food and splendid service. A bit more Spicy than I have become accustomed to but still wonderful!“

“This place is great huge selection. Very tasty food freshly made. The owner is delightful and super helpful and friendly. I especially love that they have many vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, which is pretty unusual for a Mexican restaurant in Las Cruces, this places is very accommodating. They do not use lard in their beans and offer lots of choices. It’s obvious that they take pride as the food is quality. We sat out on the patio. It was nicely, shaded, clean, and comfortable. Usually, we get takeout or delivery from here, but today we ate in for the first time and now I know I will be eating here more often. We loved everything. Also the welcome soup is so tasty, which is included with your meal. They had two kinds of soups Fideo with beans and also a lentil soup, vegan. The homemade salsa is delicious. We also asked for and tried their homemade habanero salsa for lots of extra heat and it was perfect. If you love Mexican food and also have any Vegetarian, vegan or gluten free friends or family, this is your absolutely best option for Mexican food in Las Cruces as they have something for everyone and the food will satisfy the carnivores and vegans. Prices are very reasonable too.Vegetarian options: There are many vegan vegetarian options to choose from, I’ve worked my way through many of the vegetarian vegan options and have been very happy with everything I’ve had here.Dietary restrictions: The owner is very knowledgeable about vegan vegetarian and gluten-free and will happily accommodate your needs. Lots of options on the menu clearly labeled.“

“This is our first time going to this place. I was not a bad experience. The only thing we didn't like was that it was a but windy that day and we sat outside, you could feel the dust. So we moved inside. Our server was good. He made sure to ask every few minutes how everyone was doing. Food was great. Big portion size, so I was not able to finish my plate. If you've never gone to this place, you should go. Oh and if you have fur babies (dog), they allow dogs inside in back patio.Parking: Great food.“

“Great spot, awesome service and food. Fries are awesome. Just ordered about 15 minutes ago.(got a brisket torta) Home and enjoying my meal! Definitely recommend. Employee at window was great and genuinely happy to see us. 3 orders back to back. All great timing and quality.THANK YOU!!!Parking: Parking was just a tad tedious. But not a problem, especially since it is a food truck. Food makes up for the small walk over to the window!“

“From the moment we walked in, just automatically knew the food was going to be great. The aroma was mouth watering. A waitress walked by us with a mixed drink from the bar, beautiful blue drink. Server was so attentive to our chips and salsa and drink refill. Homemade Mexican food, service and atmosphere was excellent. A must go to restaurant and now our favorite place to eat in Las Cruces.“

“We stopped in for brunch and some of us were disappointed because they stopped serving breakfast food right as we walked in. The food we ended up ordering was delicious. We sat outside and it was beautiful. There was live music, which was a vibe. There isn't much of a drink selection. I wanted a Sprite but they only had Diet Coke or maybe Coke Zero. I was in Mesilla visiting family and will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.“

“Went late on Saturday afternoon, about an hour before closing. No attitude by the server. Very pleasant young lady, super attentive. Food was fast, hot, and delicious! Chips and salsa are the best and complimentary.. Was at a cafe in Mesilla just before and chips and salsa were $12! Remembered this little spot and went there instead. Glad we did!“

“This is one-of-a-kind excellence! Go in and make some friends, eat some out-of-this-world New Mexican food, and drink some inexpensive beers. Everyone who's lived in Cruces misses Chope's when they move away. It's open again and better than ever. Wear your big kid pants and bring your taste for real New Mexican food.“

“Dined in cantinas, pleasant and comfortable setting. Wait staff attentive and allowed us plenty of time to visit and enjoy a drink before ordering food. I had calamari which was good although slightly overcooked( which is easy to do) and my friend had shrimp tacos which she was pleased withAgain wonderful staff.“

“If you're ever in Las Cruces, NM, LUCY'S CAFE IS A MUST! Delicious food, GREAT SERVICE, and a cute, affordable small time diner atmosphere. We were passing thru from Round Rock, Tx to Mesa, AZ and found this gem on S Valley Dr close to the Walmart. Our waitress Carmen was sweet, friendly and attentive. Lucy the owner must hire folks just like herself! We'll definitely be back sooner than later!“

“WOW ? ! ? ! You want GREAT authentic Mexican food?! This Mom and Pop establishment serves really, really good delicious homestyle food at VERY reasonable prices. I got one red and one green burrito to go. I saw what others were eating and should have tried those items ... and I should've added cheese to my burritos, not that they needed it, just the way I like it. Skip El Sombrero, skip Go Burger, skip So Senior, skip Napalitos, and head to WELCOME INN CAFE. You won't regret it!“

“Small gem in town wonderful food. It might took them 1 hour to 1:30 to serve your food but is worth it. Gorditas, chimichanga , ground beef, caldo de res, green chili, chilaquiles, green queso, and are most the things that I have taste are delicious. I put five stars to service only because I think the staff is really kind it just matter that they making the food at order and takes them some time to prep.“

“The service was fast and the people were very polite. They spoke both Spanish and English, so they're accessible to many. Both the Barbacoa and Pastor tacos were incredible and very well constructed. Just the right proportions of meat and toppings for each taco. The rice and beans were okay, definitely not the star of the attraction. All in all, I'll definitely be going back often especially for their fairly low prices.“

“I eat at Cocina every time I am in town from ABQ. I wish there was one in ABQ. I can not find a decent potato taco up north. Everything I’ve tried at Cocina is pure class. Outstanding potato tacos! Salsa is the best in Las Cruces since My Brothers place closed. I would give 6 stars if it was an option.“

“If it says spicy it means spicy! Holy cow one of our meals was inedible because it was so hot, but they took our plate and comped the meal. The service was nice but a bit slow, it sounded like the bar was backed up. Atmosphere was great and our other food a as delicious. The Margherita flight was small for the price.“
“Good food but there's only one employee working and it takes her a little longer to serve you specifically if there's more then one or two customers in front of you. But with a little patience, you will not regret itKid-friendliness: Hamburger, fries, chicken, nuggets ,“

“The price is good, especially for the breakfast special. However, the staff was unfriendly. My wife asked about menu options and the server acted like my wife was nuts for asking. The dining room is small and cramped. The tables were sticky.Vegetarian options: They will act like you are nuts if you ask about vegetarian/vegan options.“
“We moved to town a month ago and have been desperately seeking a decent margarita for 29 days. The search is over, this is the winner hands down. Found this gem on Yelp and then accidentally crashed a Virgin Galactic private party. If it's good enough for people who drink off planet, it's good enough for those of us stuck on this rock. Cocktails and a food truck and a killer courtyard, what else do you need??? Drink here soon, life is too short to waste your money on bad Las Cruces margs!“
