“I just got put on this place about a week and a half ago and I’ve been here three times in that week and a half. It’s great. The food is great. The service is great. Last time I was there my server was Grayson. He’s so energetic and personable. He gave such good service and was very hospitable. So if you’re in search of a new sushi spot, I would definitely go here.“

“My family & i brought my fiance here for his birthday! The food was good. Didn't take long for our food to come out after we ordered. The waiter was new. He was nice. The only downside was it was a bit pricey for 7 ppl. The workers were nice enough to give us candles and plates for the cake! Over all we enjoyed ourselves and the food!“

“We really enjoyed this sushi restaurant overall. The sushi rolls were very good, and we also really liked the bento box. The chicken was a little dry, so I probably wouldn’t order that again next time, but everything else was great. I especially liked the sushi, and my husband really enjoyed the ramen. Overall, it was a really good experience and we would come back.“

“This place is amazing. The sushi chef is an artist. His work is beautiful, and tastes great. This is by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. When I first tried them he was using purple sweet potatoes, so some of his sushi was purple. It was beautiful and tastes so good. He was also using fruit. Which was visually pleasing and also gave a unique flavor. I really wish he would continue to make sushi his way. But even if he doesn't it is still the best I have ever had. Anywhere else I have been I have had to cover my sushi in feel sauce. Not here, it is so good on it's own. All I can say is YUMM!!!.“

“Very pleasant,quiet and cool on a hot day. Food is delicious and generous. We were given miso soup first for free and a wonderful sweet spicy tea for dessert also for free. Lunch Bento plates included some of best,light tempora I've had. Price was very reasonable“

“I definitely recommend if you want high quality sushi for a decent price.
The conveyor belt in my opinion is a good way to try each item on the menu and from there you should order from the menu, which is cheaper.
Either way, similar price to going out to eat at an Asian buffet but with much more sushi selection. Service is pretty good!“

“The people here were very kind. We ordered the sushi, but the machine system was down for cards and the cash machine was locked. We were about to walk away, but one of the workers told us that they will make our food, free of charge, since their machines were down. It was very nice of them. My husband gave them a pretty good tip since the people there were wonderful.“

“I called several sushi places hoping to find one local that specialized in large orders. Bento was the easiest to work with and the most responsive bar far! It was so easy to order and pick up, and we even were able to schedule a last minute pick up when they were technically closed! And on top of it all, the sushi was fresh and delicious and beautifully presented. It really made this girl's 40th birthday party a very special event 🥰“

“Me and my boyfriend have been eating here for the past 2 years very consistently, we will literally only eat hibachi here. Mike and Pen are wonderful cooks and their portions are freaking amazing. The servers are always great and kind, specifically (I totally am spacing her name) but she calls everyone sister and brother- she’s so amazing.

There’s one cook who we have had mixed feelings about only because he cooks the raw meat at the same time as everything else on the grill, so the utensils are touching the raw meat and then the vegetables and everything else. And sometimes my boyfriend has ended up with meat mixed in his veggies and he is not a fan of that lol.

This restaurant is also super good about asking for food allergies and preferences.

This place and their staff have taken very good care of us and our family and I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“Their food is really good depending on who's making it! I say this because some of there chefs use a little to much of the teriyaki sauce. Other then that. Its really good! Although it can get a little noisy, but thats not really the restaurants fault. Overall I would highly recommend trying it out! Also, the chefs are funny and do some pretty cool tricks while their cooking to entertain you!“

“I sat at the sushi bar during my visit to Hayashi Japanese Steakhouse. Our server was friendly, attentive, and appeared to be covering both the sushi bar area and the regular bar at the same time, so credit where it’s due — he handled it well.

We started with the tempura and edamame. The tempura was actually excellent: lightly breaded, crisp, and not greasy.

For sushi, we ordered the sashimi deluxe and a Texas Roll. The Texas Roll was very good and probably the highlight of the sushi portion of the meal.

Unfortunately, the sashimi quality was inconsistent. The tuna and red snapper had a watery, grainy texture and were noticeably lacking flavor. One of the darker tuna selections also appeared somewhat brownish and had the same texture issue. The salmon and escolar, however, were both very good.

Another minor issue: the sashimi was served on ice. Some people may like that presentation, but personally I feel direct contact with ice can negatively affect texture and temperature.

What made this more disappointing is that I visited Hayashi a couple of years ago and remember the sushi quality being significantly better than what I experienced this evening.

I can’t speak to the steakhouse side of the restaurant, only the sushi bar experience. Overall, not terrible, but not at the level I remembered from prior visits.“

“Had a wonderful experience on a busy Friday night. Service was fast and excellent! The family and I did Teppan, our chef was incredible not only with the food but the experience he is one of the best that we’ve had here and we’ve been here a few times and never had an experience quite like that. Next time we go back we’ll definitely be requesting him.

“Went to the sushi side on two days and the little girl that was waitress was so kind! Suggestion for if the boss sees, there should be two people working sushi side so it doesn’t seem too stressful for just one person. Hope to eat there again!“
