“My family & i brought my fiance here for his birthday! The food was good. Didn't take long for our food to come out after we ordered. The waiter was new. He was nice. The only downside was it was a bit pricey for 7 ppl. The workers were nice enough to give us candles and plates for the cake! Over all we enjoyed ourselves and the food!“

“Oh god I felt like puking after. The sushi is very good and it really is all you can eat. Try to have self control. Unlike me. It is 26.99 which is more expensive then the all you can eat sushi in Santa fe, but still worth it. Highly recommend. It's not an upscale place and a little weird but good food is good food.“

“We went last year for my daughter’s Birthday and loved it. The service was attentive and fun. The food was excellent we had a great time. Well it’s a year later and my daughter’s birthday again and she requested Tomashi’s again…so off we go 😁“

“This place is amazing. The sushi chef is an artist. His work is beautiful, and tastes great. This is by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. When I first tried them he was using purple sweet potatoes, so some of his sushi was purple. It was beautiful and tastes so good. He was also using fruit. Which was visually pleasing and also gave a unique flavor. I really wish he would continue to make sushi his way. But even if he doesn't it is still the best I have ever had. Anywhere else I have been I have had to cover my sushi in feel sauce. Not here, it is so good on it's own. All I can say is YUMM!!!.“

“This place ROCKS. This is the best sushi and Korean food in town. Always well-prepared, excellent and knowledgable service. The owner’s attention to detail and pride can be seen in the staff and the establishment. I hope they stay in business forever because my wife and I simply Love it here. Get the ABQ roll, baked salmon roll, and their green tea ice-cream for desert.“

“Big Family here. 4 kidos 3 adults. Everyone loved it. Perfect for the kidos to see and try new things. They loved that they could see what they would be eating before making a choice. Parents sat back and enjoyed care free as well hahaha 😂😆. Great Food ! Great service ! All the kids (and adults ) want to go back.“

“I'm really impressed with this sushi restaurant. I was super hungry, so I got to try the miso soup, spider roll, yellowtail sashimi, and spicy salmon roll. The salmon was absolutely phenomenal, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The miso soup seemed more complex and slightly thicker than your average miso. I savored every sip. Plus, the presentation was artful, with one of my plates including a lovely orchid flower. I highly recommend and will be returning as soon as I can.“

“Hiro Sushi inside the Sawmill Market was absolutely delicious! My wife and oldest daughter ate here and they completely loved it.
They ordered the California roll and the New Mexico roll. While they said the California roll was a classic, typical California roll executed well, the New Mexico roll was the absolute star of the show. The combination of the green chile paired with their special Hero sauce made it incredibly great and unique!
If you are visiting the Sawmill Market, this spot is highly recommended by my family!“

“We eat at this location regularly and the food is always amazing! The service is also always stop notch. But tonight in particular our waitress went above and beyond with accomodating us and our 13 month old (who can be rather rambunctious). She was kind, friendly, and attentive. She interacted with him, which honestly not a lot of wait-staff at other places do. Little gestures like this make us feel welcome. Again, we extend our gratitude to Alex. Thank you!“

“This is an awesome spot for a fun hibachi show! The sushi and sashimi options are great, and fish is fresh. They have bento box options if you're indecisive and plenty of non-raw options. Service is good, but they do get busy with large parties. Note the sushi and sashimi is thick-cut pieces as opposed to the delicate thin-cut slices you find elsewhere. Recommended!“

Update: the floor is so greasy I almost fell down gettinng to my seat. Then when seated the floor under my chair is so sticky my shoes stick, probably to help keep you from falling from the grease! The counter is super greasy I can write my name in it. Just ew.Almost left, but with a large group.
However, the food is really good, seasoned very well. Best fried rice. Wonderful chef. Funny, fun and fabulous. Generous portions.
Just please clean up. Was almost enough to make turn around and not eat here.
Now to go home and wash my shoes.“

“Their food is really good depending on who's making it! I say this because some of there chefs use a little to much of the teriyaki sauce. Other then that. Its really good! Although it can get a little noisy, but thats not really the restaurants fault. Overall I would highly recommend trying it out! Also, the chefs are funny and do some pretty cool tricks while their cooking to entertain you!“

“I placed an order through DoorDash and Violet was very helpful when I called her to make sure that my sauces were gonna be included! Violet really made sure that my order was going to be made correctly even though DoorDash made the process confusing! I really appreciate how professional and respectful Violet was and how polite and friendly she was as well! This employee definitely deserves a raise!! 🫶🏻“

“Went to the sushi side on two days and the little girl that was waitress was so kind! Suggestion for if the boss sees, there should be two people working sushi side so it doesn’t seem too stressful for just one person. Hope to eat there again!“

“We were in the Bernalillo area and a Google search pulled this place up! We were SO impressed! The staff was awesome. The service was great, and the food was absolutely amazing. Even the teas were better than most places. The prices were about normal, and nothing was extreme. We had such a great meal. What's funny is our oldest daughter could not get off work in time, so we ordered food to go and took to her. They ate after we left, and she called us to say how good the food was. Bernalillo is kind of far from us, but when we are there, we will definitely eat here. The Salmon Bento Box was a lot of food and amazing. The sushi rolls were great. My brother got something where she asked how much spice he wanted and it was prefect! It was amazing, and we all loved it!“
