“We left Santa Fe taking 285 to get to Denver. We did not know there would literally be nothing, not a gas station, diner, etc for 81 miles. Luckily we found the Chili Line Depot in Los "Pie"dras, NM. My husband and I have never had an apple pie quite as excellent as the apple green chile apple pie at the Chili Line Depot!!! We plan to time things better next time to get there for lunch!!!Stop here!!! Get some pie ala mode and coffee!!! You'll thank me!!!Also...get a "to go"brownie!!“
