“I had the pleasure of attending a private event hosted at the Mellow Mug last Friday night. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be a very welcoming space, from the decor to the seating. I think I was lucky to be attending an event after hours, when I believe their stock in baked goods to be low. As it was, I had difficulty narrowing my choice down past 3 items. I can just imagine the increased difficulty it would have been first thing in the morning with a full complement of goodies. The very friendly staff helped me to narrow my choice to one and if the cookie I ate was an example of the high quality of their baked goods, then I am grateful that I live half an hour away and not around the corner. The selection of drinks offered was also amazing and I look forward to visiting again during their regular hours.”

“Neat bar in a nice section of Bedford. This place was surprisingly busy on a random evening and you just have to fend for yourself trying to grab a table. I really dislike that they have no food except some random snacks. Although it’s nice that they let you bring food in so I got some sushi from the next plaza and brought it over. Interesting arrangement but overall just inconvenient. The beer selection on tap is excellent and was able to try a few options before picking my pint. Was hard to get service as you sort of fight for the bartenders attention.”

“I recently tried the Chhole Bhatoore and Aaloo Partha from Indian Foods Tiffin Service Dilli chaat in Halifax. Both dishes were delicious and cooked perfectly. The Chhole Bhatoore was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice. The Aaloo Partha was crispy and flavorful. The homemade Gulabjamoon was the perfect finishing touch. It was sweet and light. I highly recommend this delightful Indian dish from Indian Foods Tiffin Service dilli chaat in halifax. The service was excellent and the food was amazing”

“I can honestly say Harvest Clean Eats in Moncton is one of my fave spots to eat now. I went there for the very first time today. The food was delicious and the service was 10/10. I was going to return it but the others had already started to eat their food and i didn't want to delay their meal. Not only is the food delicious, the staff genuinely friendly, and the value so cozy on the wallet, but an employee, who I later found out was the owner, came outside to clean my car off! I wanted to warm the car up first, but this absolute Saint came outside with a brush and proceeded to clean the snow off my car and thanked us for stopping by. Like, how could you not love a place that's embracing the old Nova Scotia spirit on that level? Take the guesswork out of figuring where you want to dine out and just go here on your next (and I'd bet subsequent) night off from kitchen duty 🫶”

“Sushi Moto is a hidden gem. We've tried sushi from all over Halifax to Truro and Sushi Moto takes the cake. A lot of places forget that sushi is also about the seafood/fish and not so much on the rice. Sushi Moto sushi rice is very well made and proportionally balanced with fish/seafood for a perfectly balanced bite packed with umami flavors.”

“I love the Coffee Pro! <3 They have the absolute best selection of K-cups I've seen. I recently switched to decaf pods and they carry a wide selection of flavoured coffee which I love. So many goodies in store from syrups to candles to other amazing local gifts. Must stop in Bedford. :)”

“It takes a great deal for me to write a long post, I had even sent an email and message on their Instagram. It's clear that they do not care about their customers, so here Iam writing my experience. Maybe this will get their attention. I discovered this cozy café this past weekend. I live in Bedford and have been searching for a great place to study. I really enjoy the atmosphere in this café, However I've had two incidents that have happened now with my order. Saturday I came in and had asked about the breakfast sandwich, I have a nightshade intolerance which I explained to the cashier. (no tomatoes, peppers, paprika, no spices. potatoes and eggplant are also in this category). She went back and checked the ingredients and made a sandwich that was suppose to be free of these things. I get the sandwich and have a couple bites and realize that the black bean paste that was on it did indeed have chili-spice. She was going to remake my order and give me a refund but the manager said one or the other. Which I feel unfair where the damage has already been done to my stomach. However, someone who has made mistakes myself in the past in the industry, I let it go. It's only an intolerance not life threatening, however it does cause me discomfort for a few days when I eat these things. A refund should have been made. I return Monday and ordered a defcafe almond milk latte, which within an hour later I realize that it was 100% NOT decafe. Caffeine does not sit well with me, it causes a great deal on my health. For some people this can literally have them go to the hospital. Some people have certain medications, and caffeine can literally cause major complications. Luckily for me this was not the case, however it ruined my night, I was unable to finish my evening activities, or continue to study for the quiz I had the next day. I also had to cut my grocery shopping short because I became faint and unwell. It's clear to me that the manager and staff do not take dietary restrictions seriously, this is unfortunate, as I have spent $50 on this establishment already and I will not be back. Dietary restrictions are something to be taken seriously and this place does not! So if you are someone with allergies, do not go here.”

“Today we took our grandsons for lunch. It was very busy considering it was March break. We were greeted quickly and seated. Our server Debra was very busy as were the other servers but she did a good job getting our orders. The food was good,clubhouse for us and chicken strips and fries for the boys. They enjoyed the build your own sundaes! Going home the boys remarked how much they liked the place! Hats off to all the staff!”
