Today we were out for our ladies brunch, we had reservations for the Driftwood next door, but we told there was no reservation for 10 ( we had the confirmation email.) with them, very rudely. Enough of that.
Next Door was Edna’s, so we had 10 senior ladies looking for a place near by. A lovely lady Cora from Edna’s, welcomed us in with open arms. The Food was delicious, beautifully plated and flavors , beyond words. It was a warm welcoming atmosphere, the staff were great and Cora, what a beautiful person. So somethings are meant to happen,

“This was a really cool spot. I did some looking on Reddit before going for dinner and didn't see this place as a recommendation - ended up trying it out as we happened to walk by. Very glad we tried it though! Our server was very knowledgeable and made recommendations based on flavour profiles which you don't see often. Everything was priced similar to other bars but the ingredients were clearly high quality. We had the beet salad, (bright, fresh, zesty), lamb burger, (hearty, rich, flavourful), and salmon (crispy, light, balanced). I'd definitely come back.“

“Saturday evening (Feb 18) we randomly decided to stop by Jinloong for supper. We don't eat out much these days, but we were feeling like a treat. :) My husband had a combo Special A. It was a huge portion and delicious. I want to mention that my husband always finishes his plate. However, this meal was not only delicious but filling too. He had enough for in dining and leftovers for a take away lunch on Monday ! I ordered the Singapore Noodles, with no meat or shrimp. Our waiter was so helpful to make a lovely fresh enormous bowl of noodles with extra veggies for me. It was wonderful and I went home with 3 days of leftovers!! YAY!! This was such a great meal for "penny pinches" like us haha I'd like to say our experience at Jinloong was 5 stars, but I wish I could give an extra 5 stars for the lovely, helpful service we received from our waiter. He was a delight!! So kind, helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant don't look any further than Jinloong. The homemade sauces are absolutely worth every penny. The portions are fantastic, and the service is GREAT! We'll be back soon. I've included a photo of all our leftovers. “11/10. Absolutely phenomenal experience. They are SO patient and SO experienced. Nothing is out of the question as they can make anything possible. Your booking includes set-up and tear down by the staff, HUGE win. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. And obviously the space is GORGEOUS; very little decorations are even needed in the romantic moody room. We did our ceremony on the roof and it was SO special. Food incredible. We did a standing cocktail dinner and we had more than enough and continue to received compliments over the menu. This is SUCH an awesome spot!“

“No hostess at the front to greet people walking in, waited 10 minutes and still nothing, server walked by us looking clueless and did not bother to help, called the restaurant from inside the restaurant, still no answer, then finally 2 hostesses came at once and we were finally seated at our table. The burgers were awesome and the fries were fresh cut and equally tasty with just the right amount of salt mixed in! The staff were wonderful and even recommended an alternate meal for us, which actually turned out to save us a little money. The person at the drive-through was courteous, smiled and was just lovely. She clearly enjoys her work and it shows. I know it’s just a burger and fries, but it was served with a friendly smile great service and we just loved it. Their burgers are amazing. You owe it to yourself to visit the shop.“
