“There are lots of good things to say about Dayan. The place is clean, the owner is super friendly, and the portion sizes are 1/3 larger for the price than we've gotten at any sushi place in Halifax or the Valley. On the down side, we had 5 different rolls between us, all spicy, and unfortunately the sauce was so heavy handed that the only taste differentiation was the fact that some had teriyaki sauce and some didn’t. The rolls were also a bit hard to eat as they fell apart when picked up. Fresh food and good value, but a little more variety in flavour would be appreciated.”

“I ordered two large pizzas for a Superbowl party, the day before Superbowl to be picked up at 5:30. One was 'TheWorks', the other was half Hawaiian, the other half pepperoni and mushroom--BUT these two ingredients had to be on top of the cheese. When I arrived at 5:30, the second pizza was just coming out of the oven. When I got to the party, the guys checked out the pizzas and they were gone within 20 minutes. They all said they were glad I chose Valley Pizza for the party. Thanks, Valley Pizza!”

“The owners of Mila's pizza have treated me with great service and great food for more than 15 years.

I asked them to provide some late night food for my wedding, and they gladly accepted, despite the large order long past their usual closing time. Come the day of the wedding, and a complete power outage occurs in Berwick that afternoon/evening. Lo and behold, the miracle workers at Mila's made the pizzas in the dark by flashlight, drove them to a location with ovens and power, got the pizzas cooked, and returned them to their store hot and ready for pick up.

This kind of service is above and beyond what you could expect anywhere but Mila's. Their hard work and delightful attitude has led them to be the best pizza place in the valley, and as far as I'm concerned, all of Nova Scotia. Thanks for all you've done”

“This was such a wonderful experience! We were not sure what to expect as we have never ordered seafood online and this was a pretty big expense for us. This was a last minute decision two days before Christmas. They arrived on Dec 24th at about 4:00 pm in Texas from Maryland! We bought the colossal dungeness crab and the “broken” pieces of colossal king crab. The dungeness was of good size. A tad larger than what you would find in the grocery store but not enormously large. I didn’t know what to expect but was not disappointed with the size. The taste, flavor and texture of the dungeness was absolutely off the charts! Sweet, buttery and light! We made a cajun compound butter but in all honesty, it did not need it. The broken pieces of colossal king crab is such a good deal. I was so surprised at how large these broken pieces are. They were basically already broken down for us. The leg meat is what you see on social media. Probably about 5 inches long and inch and a half wide. There were about 5 of these in the box along with huge knuckles making up 3 pounds. It was such a good deal considering the quality. If you are ordering for yourself as a meal I definitely suggest going that route. If they are meant as an addition and you want the presentation aspect I probably wouldn’t go for the broken. Otherwise, do it. I promise you won’t regret it. The knuckles are salty on their own. I wont add seasoning to them next time. For reference we normally order 4 pounds of dungeness for my husband and 1.5 pounds of red king crab for me. My husband can eat all of his plus shrimp no problem. I think it’s probably safe to say we have almost 2 pounds left over.”

Try it if u get the chance, been eating here for the past decade or so and the quality has only gotten better!!! Love the service and the employees are fantastic!
