“We stopped by Bramble Cafe, a cozy vegan coffeehouse, and absolutely loved it! I ordered a pumpkin spiced latte along with a bagel with butter. My boyfriend got a hot green tea and a za’atar bagel, which he raved about!

Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and the vibe of the café was so welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for great vegan coffee and breakfast options!“

I am a tourist from Europe and I found Cafe Byron by accident, but it was really a lucky find!

The coffee was very tasty and the avocado toast also fresh and delicious. The place is small but very cozy, and the people working there was very friendly.

I enjoyed to sit there and relax a bit. I can really recommend this cafe to other travelers!“

“Three guests in our party. Ate lunch there enjoying the Broccoli and Cheese Quiches with coffees and a hot chocolate. Quiches were very light, flavourful and incredibly filling. As we were celebrating a birthday, a dessert was selected by each of us: a chocolate cheesecake square, a peanut butter square with chocolate layer on top and an apple dessert as big as your head made with puff pastry and sweet apple filling. Verdict? Delicious!“

“Tony is the nicest man you'd ever meet. As someone who has worked in this mall for a decade, I know that I will always get a warm experience. My favorite item is their breakfast pita, which has scrambled egg, bacon, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and can add cheese. It's perfect for an easy breakfast that will hold you over til lunch. Sometimes I grab an afternoon snack here, which may be a Nanaimo bar, peanut butter cookie, etc. I haven't tried their pizza slices yet, but heard they are decent! Please support this lovely family if you can. (FYI I am not family or friends, trying to push reviews).“

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the creamy oat milk lattes and colourful lemonades and we found ourselves retuning to the Cafe every day of our vacation. We had the opportunity to meet Lara, the owner, and it was immediately clear why this Cafe is so tastefully decorated, why the atmosphere is so enjoyable and the menu so very delectable. “Very clean, tables spaced apart enough so you can hear your companion speaking, lovely decor elegant even. The pistachio croissant was incredible (the dollop of cream with pistachios is a delicious touch to a croissant with layers surrounding a pistachio centre- you need to try it sorry forgot photos!) Wild berry macaron was.. okay the only time I think sublime will qualify as a description! Paired with drip coffee or cafe au lait - heaven! The Bastille and Croque Monsieur sandwiches that we split were excellent! So good we got croissants and macarons for takeaway after!“

“I recently moved back into the area and was hoping to have brunch here every weekend. I had the Madurito breakfast which was a wonderful treat. The flavours were exotic and well balanced and I left quite satisfied. The breakfast came to $30.00 including tip. After searching online, I found this was almost double the price of any breakfast in Halifax. Wonderful food, but keep in mind you are paying for inflated food costs and for specialty ingredients. Not affordable on my budget, unfortunately.“

The cheesecake is delicious but a tad over priced, as were all the deserts, in my opinion. All in all, a very nice experience and we will definitely be going back for our monthly Ladies Lunch.“

“When we arrived they only had plain gutter croissants or chocolate croissants so we tried the normal ones. They were nice, it’s close to what croissants taste in France, although it’s very difficult to replicate them. “I came with my family for brunch. The place is beautiful, the service was ok, and the food was nice.

The four breakfasts were delicious.

I have only two complaints, first I asked for a Mimosa and the amount of prosecco is very small, I corroborated it when I saw how it was prepared for another table. Second, the waiter tried a few times to avoid our table.

I am not a brunch person, but the experience was nice.“
