The owners are always friendly & professional. Plenty of selections from falafels, to beef & lamb. Homemade mezze and plenty of sides. Great selection of vegetarian choices, too! Mediterranean food at it's finest, right here in Elko.”

“This place is a total local gem with great sandwiches and fries. I got the lamb grinder and it's one of my favorite sandwiches I've had in a long time. The lamb and bread were delicious. The basque cheese on it is super flavorful and the au jus it came with was really rich. Also, as a Utahan I appreciate a delicious fry sauce. Definitely making this my go to place when I stop in Elko next!”

“Stopped by Dreez on a cross-country roadtrip because I saw it had good reviews, and it wound up being exactly what I hoped it would be. Excellent diner food that tastes like a home-cooked meal and staff that treated me like a regular. I got the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs and country potatoes, and I kept eating even after I was full because it was just too damn good. Bout $13 total + tip, not bad at all. Highly recommend if you're passing through and need a good meal”

“Went to Blue Moon tonight for my step son’s birthday. The plan was for a smallish group of about 6…. Turned into 13! Blue Moon not only fully accommodated us while they were busy, they took excellent care of us, even going as far as offering a blanket for a baby to lay on when he got fussy and tired! We had an absolutely excellent dinner, we weren’t rushed, and our night was not rushed at all and we were able to enjoy our family (we are very rarely all together). I will always highly recommend this place!!!”

The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was so friendly and attentive. I'd definitely like to come back and try their dinner as well. Highly recommend.”

“Just had one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Ordered the Ribeye and the cut was tender and cooked perfect, with flavor. All too often, restaurants thaw and then cook when the cut is still cool from thawing and ends up dry. I always have at least one dinner at Cooks while in Elko and highly recommend. Lunch has been great also and tried the Bison Burger the previous day.”

“This was a hidden gem! Located next to our hotel, we went for a walk after driving all day. We had a large specialty pizza plus garlic cheese bread with ranch and marina. Delicious! The pizza was soft, flavorful, and loaded with toppings. The garlic cheese bread was huge with a cheese "skirt". I think the owner took our order: friendly, accurate on time, and very attentive to detail. This place is definitely a keeper”
