“WOW a beautifully maintained house from the 1850’s that looks historically preserved at the same time the deco and property is updated to look fashionable. The music, staff, and FOOD was all superb. I thought I would be walking into a small town sandwich place ( which I also love) but this was a full 5star fine dining experience. Including reading the copy on the menu which was hilarious and entertaining. I suggest the French onion soup but everything we got was so good it makes me want to drive the distance from Reno next time I have out of state friends visit just to come again for dinner. Big yum.“

We now live in Minden and go to Heavenly Village to hang out and eat, listen to live music, etc. Let me say that out of all the servers we have ever had. “We were looking for options to grab a quick bite to eat on the way to Sierra-at-Tahoe and Tahoe Bagel came up on Yelp. It was close to where we were staying and in the direction we were traveling so we decided to give it a try based on the reviews. The place was filled but the line moved quickly. The wait for the food took longer but understandably so. I had a toasted sesame bagel with veggie cream cheese and it was excellent. Although we didn't have sandwiches on this visit, we liked that they were cooking up the ingredients on a flat top...much different than, say, a Noah's Bagels where everything is pre-made and then microwaved. Will definitely consider on future visits to South Lake Tahoe.“

We had about 70 guests for our reception at the Idle Hour and received so many compliments on how great the taco bar was and how kind the staff was. “Recently moved to the area, my boyfriend and I agree that Nevada Joe Coffee hut is our new favorite place. Every time we drive to Gardnerville, this is our first stop. Love the Coffee Chiller ( with espresso), my boyfriend loves the Peanut Butter Chiller or Cinnamon Roll Latte. The White Chocolate Raspberry scone from LA Bakery is delicious. And our Boxer girl loves that the ladies always give her a biscuit, is good socialization for her. Worth a visit!“

This place not too far from South Lake Tahoe and not even 10 mis drive from Stateline. Step in around 7:30 pm and so crowded inside. Check-in with host and she said the wait time is about 45 mins for the party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Looks inside still have a few tables that available and also a few more unclean tables. Decided to wait because light snow is falling outside. Just about next 20 mins got the high table and we're so happy with that. Foods were great, ribs were amazing and moreover that is our server. He is so nice and attentive. Reasonable price and worth the wait. Definitely be back!!“

Mahi Tacos: 4/5 the fish was nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked and paired well with the pineapple salsa. I found myself wishing it had a spicy aioli to balance it out. Buffalo cauliflower: 5/5 this was our favorite bite of the night. A flawless marriage of crunch from the crispy batter, spicy flavor from the buffalo seasoning and cooling effect of the cucumber. I would eat this every day if I could and it's something I'm going to try making at home. Burrata: 4/5 we were expecting the dish to be cold but it came out in a VERY HOT crock with herbs and tomatoes with bread to dip. The cooked outside of the cheese had a mild rubbery texture which made it difficult to cut through, but the flavors were so good! We soaked up every bit of the cheesy mixture with the bread leaving no trace behind. We frequent Tahoe from the Bay Area and I would definitely add this place to my list of recommendations to friends and family who visit the area.“
