Located across from the Mandalay Bay Hotel Casino, one will find this gem of a dive. Alan is the owner and he mans the counter professionally and engagingly, answering all questions (and I ask a lot) with a smile on his face and in his voice. After my second culinary journey in the restaurant jungle of Las Vegas, I am absolutely convinced that Brevard County, FL, has pitiful food. It's a race to the bottom on the Space Coast, because if a hole-in-the-wall joint such as this can execute high-quality chow like this, the Big Boy's future is bright. I asked Alan for a Steak and Egg sandwich, one order of his Flour Tower (a short stack of Johnny cakes), and a Strawberry Lemonade Cheesecake. As my meal was being prepared, I relaxed and took in the sights of The Strip. Las Vegas is the best place to people-watch this side of the Mississippi. You can tell the locals from the tourists from the hucksters with a glance. Being daytime, the place wasn't busy, and my order was up in a flash. After the requisite pictures, I enthusiastically got to work because look at those pictures! First up on the discerning Big Boy's palate was the Steak and Egg sandwich. This was gigantic, cooked to perfection and the chimichurri mayo gave it a unique, exotic and excellent flavor. Wow. It was all I could do to move on to the next item. Before I get into how they tasted, take a second and look at that picture of Alan's Flour Tower again. Have you ever seen such a perfect representation of a pancake? I would wager you haven't, and as I am in Las Vegas, I am sure we can find an odds maker for that! Now, back to the task at hand. If a picture is worth 1000 words, you can surmise how delightful those pancakes were. WTF? I would expect pancakes of this caliber in a 5-star hotel on the French Riviera, not in a diner on the Las Vegas Strip. Alan is undoubtedly a man who takes great pride in his offerings to the public and has a genuine love of serving the public. Outstanding, my man! Just when I thought I hit the jackpot, I placed a forkful of the Strawberry Lemonade Cheesecake in my aptly named pie-hole. O. M. G. This would be illegal in Brevard; it's that good. Words do not do it justice. It was sublime in flavor, perfect in texture and downright divine on the palate. The Big Boy says, “Visiting or residing, this is a MUST for all.”“

My benedict was delectable as was my espresso/bourbon bevvy. The ambience is bougie/cashz: cozy but open with the feel of hand selected decor (love all the plants). The desserts were delicious (I tried their signature personal carrot cake or cheesecake. The former was something to die for). The coffee was just average. Mimosa was a little expensive even for that area and even in SF you'll get a cheaper one. The servers are respectful and do their best to accommodate your requests. The funny thing is that, if you arrive ffir a breakfast / lunch and see a queue of people, they'll put you into the waiting list at the reception desk, using OpenTable. But if you do a reservation via OpenTable yourself, they may or may not honour it, as many others wrote in their reviews.“

My husband got a brunch 🍔 and he believes that it should've had lettuce and tomato. But it did not come with either of those. He said his fries were hot but his mayo tasted sour.

I got the 🥑 toast and fruit. The avocado toast came with roasted cherry 🍅 and I did not care for that at all. I took the tomatoes off and my 🥑 toast was great. The fruit was perfectly ripened and delicious. My milk was nice and cold.

We sat next to 2 constantly laughing young women, one of which was turning 81 soon. Their laughs were so contagious that my husband and I were laughing too!“
