“What a find! So relieved to find great Chinese food in Reno. Great soups (tried them all!), kung pao shrimp, szechuan chicken, and the fried rices were fluffy, flavorful and delicious (not oily and hard like most other places). Even had the right fortune cookies.

Great value, too. Our takeout order was packed perfectly so no spilling or heat loss, though the car smelled great! Will definitely be back (soon!). Thank you!

“We love coming here, best pho broth in Reno maybe even in general. The beef stew pho is my favorite and perfect for a rainy day or whenever I don’t wanna cook dinner! The owners are so sweet and genuinely cares about their customers. Highly recommend the beef stew with egg noodles 🍜“

“Best Vietnamese restaurant in Reno. We ate here for the first time last night and can’t wait to go back. The two waitresses were so lovely and helpful. The food here taste like real Vietnamese food. The Cha Gio was the best tasting we have had since moving here 8 months ago. . We also had delicious Singapore noodles and a hot pot. We will go back often. Only thing we would wish to change is that we would love to see a bahn mi sandwich served here. I am sure it would be delicious. We have not had a good one since we moved here.“

“Traditional chinese food. Slightly nicer ambiance. Was looking for chinese food for lunch on a Sunday. 4% cheaper if you pay with cash. Fried chicken that we were told would take 20 minutes took 30 minutes and honey glazed walnut shrimp and shrimp chow fun took 50 minutes. The shrimp chow fun was a bit saltier then we would have liked but staff told us it was because that's how the non-asian people liked it. The food is good. I may consider coming back here. Parking lot was easy to park at. Coffee N' Comics is right next door.“

“Shanghai Terrace stood up to their phenomenal reputation. The food, service and drink were all incredible. We had the Tenderloin potstickers as an appetizer. They were tender and flavorful. The entrees were the star of the meal, as they should be. On the server's recommendation, we had the sea bass. Oh my, it was cooked with a perfect crust in a delicious sauce. Wow, I can still taste it 3 days later. Incredible. But, the pork belly was not to be out done! It came beautifully arranged and looked like a temple. The mushrooms and sauce that accompanied it were perfect. The pork belly was tender and flavorful. We had to skip dessert but they brought us the classic almond cookie and they were spot on. I will be back to enjoy more of the menu. Thank you for a wonderful experience.“

“I love the fish in the tanks near the booths. The lunch specials are 15-20 bucks with egg roll and soup. The hot and sour was great with chunks of chicken and lots of shrooms. The kitchen sounds were almost non existent and the booths were comfy.“

“This is one of the hidden gems of Reno Chinese restaurants, hidden away in a sort of industrial area of officers and small industry. It's worth seeking out. Plenty of parking in the lot.

Inside is very basic, so don't expect some fancy place all decorated fancy with dragons all over. It's basic and they do a lot of to go orders. The food is fantastic and super big portions for a decent price. The lunch combo plates are pretty standard and give you a ton of food. No soup served with the specials though. What really shines are the few dishes I tried.

The general chicken is the best general chicken that I've ever had in my life! Most places just serve these pre battered frozen chicken nuggets ... NO, not here, they have hand cut nice big real pieces of chicken slathered in a wonderful sauce, just try this one! Another is the salt and pepper pork chops (bone in), OMG, this cook knows how to cook these just right, so super tender to the bite, not like my mother's shoe leather chops, where you gotta pull with you fingers while holding with your teeth! The flavor is so wonderful!

Also got the beef chow fun with black bean sauce. This is way better than the standard chow fun served dry style. They use fresh rice noodles as opposed to places that use the dried noodles and re-hydrate them. You can tell the difference, just like with fresh pasta vs the dried stuff.

Check out this place if you have the time. Only closed on Sundays.“

“I ordered the food for my friend so I don't know how the food tastes yet. I used the doordash app and placed a pickup order. In the app it would not allow me to select the same meat option twice so I put in the comments and ask them to do double sweet and sour chicken. When I arrive to pick up the order the the man at the counter was extremely enthusiastic, very polite and was like I made sure I had your double chicken for you and then even included double sweet and sour sauce for our egg rolls. I absolutely love that he took care of us. And his enthusiasm was refreshing“

“This place really hit the spot. The Sizzling Rice Soup was the standout—hot, comforting, and full of flavor, with that satisfying crunch when the rice hits the broth. Easily one of the better versions I’ve had.

The Kung Pao Chicken was done right: tender chicken, well-balanced sauce, and just the right level of spice without being overpowering. Not overly sweet or oily, which I appreciated.

We also ordered the Bok Choy, and it was simple but perfectly cooked—fresh, crisp, and nicely seasoned. A great complement to the richer dishes.

“My favorite Chinese food in Reno. Super fast service, reasonable prices and the people are friendly.

It's got a fast food style atmosphere in the dining room, so I think it's better as a take out tan dining option.

Called egg roll king for a reason. They are excellent here. I've never had anything bad here. It's all good.“

The chicken wings here are better than many restaurants in town. 9/10.

The steamed pork, taro and other dim sum type buns 8.5/10.

The sushi is actually very good. They have one that’s similar to a Godzilla role. That is absolutely excellent. Another one that is close to a crystal shrimp. 7.5/10.

The Mongolian Grill works very well. You get your frozen meats and throw them in with noodles whatever spices you want throw a tip take your number and then take the clothes pin and put it on your bowl. 7.5/10.“

“My father called me at work asking for donuts.. now it's like 7:30pm ... We're am I going to find not just donuts but good donuts? Thankfully this place was open and nearby 💖 my parents enjoyed their pastries very much.. thank you!“

“I came here after work with a big appetite, hoping to score some great food and meet some cute ladies. As with most Asian restaurants, the Fried Crab Rangoon was a great choice, and you KNOW you can't go wrong with the wantons. I also got the chicken with seasonal vegetable (which is apparently celery by the way) which was very tasty. As for sushi, I got the black dragon roll which SLAPS. And I couldn't leave without trying some Pho, so I got the steak and beef ball (heavy on the balls), and let me tell you, it CHANGED me.

Didn't meet any ladies because I was too focused on the incredible food I was given.

What a wonderful taste of home. The smell, even the vibes but the TASTE. Oh My Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown... the taste is uncanny.
They make such goooooood food. Their 3 meat option is by far the best. I get full and go home with extra.
They even have the most high lovely spirited women working there and one grumpy man. Just like back in California (just for the food) 🤣.

“I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Chi Restaurant inside the Peppermill. From start to finish, our server Hannah was incredibly gracious, welcoming, and attentive. She had a perfect sense of timing, always there when we needed something yet thoughtful about giving us space to enjoy catching up. I was visiting with a friend I hadn’t seen in a long time, and Hannah helped make the evening feel relaxed and special.

My friend is vegan, and the kitchen had no trouble accommodating her dietary needs. She ordered the Stir Fry Tofu with Cashews, while I had the Stir Fry with Tender Beef and Broccoli. Both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We also ordered the Spring Roll appetizer, which comes with three, and Hannah kindly offered to add an extra roll so we could split them evenly, such a thoughtful touch.

For dessert, we shared the Mango Tapioca and Thai Tea Cheesecake, and both were fantastic. Portions were huge and generous. I left feeling completely full, happy, and now I even have leftovers for lunch tomorrow.

Another nice touch was when the manager, Patrick, stopped by to check on our table and make sure everything was going well. That level of care really stood out.

Hannah was truly the star of the show and made this an experience we’ll be sharing with friends and family. We’re already looking forward to coming back soon.

Where they out of meat today? 10-22 my beef broccoli had one peice of beef and my black pepper steak thing had no steak??.😭 I have pictures i just cant post them. I didnt eat all day and was like yk what I need panda.. then I got distracted and forgot about it until I remembered I was hungry.. I went to open it and had alot of rice and chowmain but barley any of the other things I asked for.
