“Every time I come to (or through) Reno, stopping at Taco Shop is a MUST. Every taco here is amazing. The best, of course is the Cheeseburger taco - which I know sounds odd, but until you try it, you have no idea what you're missing. The pastor is a close second, super juicy with just a lil heat, it is perfection. But you won't find a thing on the menu that isn't incredible. I just wish it wasn't 400+ miles from my home, haha.“

Lillo Eatery is fantastic. My first visit was late in the morning, the owner (I assume) took my order and it turned out my first two bagel choices were sold out. But the staff had just completed a to-go order of avocado toast on an everything bagel in error, which turned out to be my exact order on the sold out bagel I had wanted. The owner gave it to me at no charge given they need to remake it on the correct bagel and it was my exact order. I tried to pay for it and the owner said me taking it helped not create waste, which was so kind.

Today, I went back with one of my sons. He order the shakshouka and I got the avocado toast on a Za’tar bagel. Both were delicious, and portions were so big we needed to-go boxes. We ended up making two more additional orders before leaving, an everything bagel sandwich for my other son & a 1/2 dozen bagels with cream cheese.

Lillo Eatery is definitely going to be a regular place we visit. And clearly others too. From the moment we sat down to wait for our food, there was a line of people at the counter and at one point almost every seat was filled. Food is great, people are nice, and love supporting local businesses.“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! I’ve been to just about every coffee shop in Reno/sparks and this is the best place. After living in both Italy and Spain throughout college, coffee back home wasn’t quite cutting it. But HCC never misses! Their sugar and spice latte is the BEST! The owners are so friendly and the baristas are excited to see us come in each weekend. I bring all my friends here and they have loved it too. There’s plenty of seating, good music and it’s decorated nicely. Really the best way to sum it up is that the owners know what small business in Reno is all about, no matter how big this city is getting. Genuine, hard working, kind and personable owners. “Came to grab some beers with the wife and the dogs after a hike. Great atmosphere, amazing beer, and very chill and inviting patio area to hang out at.
They were playing the football game when we walked in, a lot of 49er fans here. Which is great! Go niners! Added a picture of our dogs on the patio. I would have added photos of the beer but they were too good that I drank them down. We will definitely be back; plus were heard that you can order food from next door and can get it delivered to Beer NV. Amazing experience!

“Midtown Spirits Wine & Bites is THE BEST I have ever been to. My friend is a friend of the owners, so since we were leaving Lake Tahoe to go to the airport we stopped by to check it out!!! This is the only place I've ever been able to order a charcuterie board. I totally loved it. We had so many different and very pleasing bites, perfect for cocktails and bourbon and whiskey and cocktails. They had Karin Denise performing, she and I have not seen one another in many years. I met the owners Anthony and Amanda, they acknowledged everyone that came in. Loved the decor. I wish I could have stayed until Sunday, when they have live Jazz. I will be returning soon.“

“Lucke's Saloon has an excellent atmosphere. Every time I go, I find good vibes, great conversation and awesome prices. The bartenders are knowledgeable and totally on their game. Talking about Wynn, Peggy, Ricketts, and Jeff so far. Have not had the pleasure to meet any other bartenders yet. Highly recommend this place. It is a new, go-to 3rd place (a place that is not home or work) for me. Check it out!“
